Yeah - I'm happy to avoid the pate and unripened cheese. That makes sense. I have had some serrano ham but froze it first so that was fine.

Although I am only sick when cleaning teeth I have thrown up so many dinners now that it has completely put me off that food - I am running out of things I can eat!

Can't go near vegetables apart from peas and sweetcorn (and I usually love veg)
Can't go near lamb, burgers, slow cooked beef (e.g the sort you get in pie/casserole), mince.
Can't go near any fish unless it is battered (usually I love all fish)
Can't go near eggs (and we have bloody hens!)
Can't go near bacon/gammon/sausage

All I want to eat is cheese, chips, steak.

I've had fish and chips when eating out lately - but have 3 more meals out this month and I am rapidly going off the fish and chips.

I usually love food!

Argh @Stroan it's a jigsaw! Fingers crossed she was just having a bad day and will be back on form shortly...

Oh no @Megan2018 ! Hopefully things will start creeping back onto the menu soon...
my symptoms are beginning to lift (11 weeks now). I'm back on chocolate yay! Although now of course I'm having a wee fret that something's wrong... scan next Monday, anyhow.

Karigan195 · 11/03/2019 15:10

I’m mostly fine with food so long as I clear plates away quickly. I’m finding most of my sickness is when I’m tired.

TwittleBee · 11/03/2019 15:19

Symptoms are certainly lifting here for me at 13 weeks! Such a relief considering I've lost a lot of weight from not being able to keep food down previously!

MyBreadIsEggy · 11/03/2019 17:38

Karigan I’m exactly the same!
With the feral children running about all day, I’m exhausted by about 3:30/4pm, and that’s when I feel really sick Envy
I’ve just bunged a big spud in the oven for my dinner when they are in bed. Had a hankering for cheese and coleslaw....wish me luck Confused I hope it turns out being as good as it is in my head

Karigan195 · 11/03/2019 17:40

Yeah I can’t blame kids as my son is pretty good but I keep not wanting to let hobbies go so do stupid things like outdoor sports for 9 hrs then wonder why I feel like hell the next day.

IVEgottheDECAF · 11/03/2019 18:19

I had a couple of hours on the sofa with dc4 while he napped, would be great if i slept solidly for those hours but i struggle to get comfy

IVEgottheDECAF · 11/03/2019 18:20

Eggy are both your dc at home with you all day?

IVEgottheDECAF · 11/03/2019 18:24

Dusty yes i have dc4 (2) at home with me while i am "resting". Tbh i haven't properly rested since dc1 was born 11 years ago....
I have done some reading and it seems osteopathy is recommended alot for spd so i may look into that

MyBreadIsEggy · 11/03/2019 19:09

IVEgot Luckily Dd (3) goes to preschool most mornings, then has one full day there, and one full day at home a week. But DS (2 and a half) is at home with me all day everyday and is an absolute whirlwind of mental Blush
I look forward to DDs full day at preschool not because I want rid of her as such, but because I know I can nap while DS naps at lunchtime Grin

Megan2018 · 11/03/2019 19:59

My symptoms are mostly gone apart from the teeth cleaning vom.
But it has been replaced by hormone related rage. I have lost my shit so many times today, I am feeling really stabby. It’s not pleasant!!

hodgeheg92 · 11/03/2019 20:03

@twittlebee I realised on Saturday morning that I don't have that constant crappy feeling anymore and it is wonderful.

Whisky2014 · 11/03/2019 20:09

Well, I don't have many symptoms at the no but I am eating like a horse! Healthy stuff and utter crap.

Stroan · 11/03/2019 20:58

On top of all the delightful HG and general crappy symptoms that didn't go away at 12 weeks, I've had such a bad cough that I've now completely lost my voice. Even yawning is sore and I'm feeling SO ragey about it all. Dreading work tomorrow but feel I really need to go in as I only managed 1 day last week.

Food wise, I can still barely eat anything but toast. I can't even be in the same room as most food, so I spend mealtimes hiding out in bed. Spaghetti Bolognese is my absolute nemesis. Just hearing the phrase can make me sick

I am the worst pregnant person ever!

Only update from me:

The baked potato was a success Grin

maddiecxx · 11/03/2019 21:29

I'm 13 weeks tomorrow, I keep getting sharp pains in my stomach, mainly after eating it's too high up to be anything to do with baby I think?? Is this just stretching or should I be worried Blush

kyles101 · 11/03/2019 21:56

@Megan2018 love that description- sums it up perfectly- my stabby time only really comes on after 4pm... 😉

DustyDoorframes · 11/03/2019 22:17

Oh no stroan! Hopefully the cough will run its course soon????
decaf I have a dodgy back and osteopaths have really saved my bacon a few times. I have a really brilliant one now who barely does anything but gently wiggle her fingers under you, and you lie there thinking "aaaa what the f am I spending 50 quid on?!?"- and then when I stand up I can walk again!
Eek to the stabby ladies! I was filled with rage at about 6-7 weeks (poor DP...) but mostly just zonked now...

DustyDoorframes · 11/03/2019 22:19

Ps - woot eggy re the potato! And maddie I've not had that until much much later. Are you eating too fast??? That turned out to be a thing for me with my last one.

Megan2018 · 12/03/2019 06:51

@maddiecxx
Sounds like gas, I’ve had pain in the weirdest places from it

maddiecxx · 12/03/2019 09:37

@Megan2018 maybe I was thinking that too it's for like 20 minutes after eating and then it goes away🤷🏼‍♀️ @DustyDoorframes I think I could either be eating too fast or too much maybe it's usually when I eat larger meals

Megan2018 · 12/03/2019 09:46

@maddiecxx
I had a pain in my collar bone, my back and top of my ribs last week - all after eating and it turned out to be gas.

I've also had it in/around stomach as well but it seems to creep in everywhere at the moment - if it goes quickly I am sure that is all it is and nothing to worry about!

Karigan195 · 12/03/2019 10:15

@maddiecxx. Yeah it’s your body having less room for intestines with baby starting to move things plus pregnancy gas. Combat it by cutting out fizzy drinks and try to eat small meals more often rather than large amounts

MyBreadIsEggy · 12/03/2019 11:16

I get the weird pain high up in my belly too - usually revolves itself after a hefty burp/fart Blush

maddiecxx · 12/03/2019 11:36

Thank you all😊😊
