Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

Big congrats to Doggus LOVE the name, sorry you had a shitey time though x

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:03

Hi derlor! How's things?

derlor · 29/06/2007 22:05

Hi Holly, going great now thanks, feeding is now almost pain free and LO firmly following a nice wee routine. happy days actually.....at last, she is 3 weeks old today, i can't believe it!!!
How's things with you?

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:07

Sore, sore, sore nips!!

Glad you are getting sorted and lo is feeding well! How's your spd? Has it gone?

derlor · 29/06/2007 22:08

oh i TOTALLY sympathise with your pain it's hell isn't it?
no SPD problems now at all, i was even on a scooter today actually!

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:11

Wow, a scooter, impressive! My mild spd during pregnancy has gone up a notch since lo was born. I'm having trouble walking! I wonder if this is normal or if it's because my pelvis had to stretch so far from having a massive baby!

derlor · 29/06/2007 22:12

it was only about 10 days ago that i was sobbing to my MW as i couldn't feed without crying the pain was so bad, hang in there if you can, it DOES get better. Have you tried different feeding positions - lying down was less painful for me, still hurt like f**k but just a little bit less, any improvement was a blessing though!

derlor · 29/06/2007 22:13

my physio said it could worsen if i gave birth in the wrong position ie, lying on my back, legs akimbo - was that how you were?

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:14

I think it is so sore because he tore up my nips before his tongue tie was cut and they are still healing. I'm using shields atm, so hopefully it should improve soon. I thought it would be easier 2nd time around, but obv not!

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:15

Mmmm..yes, I was strapped to a monitor and made to lie down on my back! It was hell! Good job it was only for an hour and a half!

derlor · 29/06/2007 22:17

yeah i thought BF would be a breeze as it has been twice before.....WRONG!!!!
my HV gave me jelonet dressings for my nips which really helped - maybe you could ask for some, or i could send you a few if you want, i've got some left.

derlor · 29/06/2007 22:20

sorry to run out on you but it's feeding time...again!!
email me your address if you want me to send you those dressings, night night x

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:22

I shall ask the mw when she comes on mon, if she doesn't have any I may take you up on that offer! Thanks! The Lansinoh seems to be helping..magic stuff!

I really want to go to bed, but I know there's no point as william will be screaming for a feed in an hour...oh the joys of babies!

hollyandalice · 29/06/2007 22:22

Night derlor xxx

foxybrown · 30/06/2007 08:16

bumperlicious · 30/06/2007 08:39

Morning foxy, any signs?

foxybrown · 30/06/2007 08:49

Bugger all, despite my best intentions.

DP just taken children swimming, am going to insist on a quickie before he heads off to work. Oh the horror (for him and me!)

Still, am hopeful one of us will join you on the dark side today!

How is it "Over There"??

bumperlicious · 30/06/2007 08:52

Sporadic! Lots of random posts at stupid o'clock in the morning, lots of sore nips and tears! It's hard work, I really admire you Foxy for managing with all your DCs. You must get sick of people saying that, as if your children are a burden! Sorry, it's just I can't imagine dealing with anything else but my baby during these first few weeks. Feeling very agoraphobic at the moment and a sense of "will it ever get easier?"

bumperlicious · 30/06/2007 08:53

Just don't try curry!

foxybrown · 30/06/2007 08:55

Just posted to you on PN Bumper.

it is just about you and lo honey! Take it easy!
