Oh yes MIF! I am hoping to! So is HollyandAlice (though she has been uncharacteristically quiet today). Who else is? Can't remember ... sorry.

How old are yours? Now I understand why you are knackered and can't nap in the day!

BadZelda · 24/05/2007 21:47

Me hopefully. Actually feel a bit less concerned about lack of midwives after the homebirth seminar today...and can officially call them if I go into labour after tomorrow. Scary thought!

foxybrown · 24/05/2007 21:48

Are you 37 weeks tomorrow BZ? How exciting!!

I can imagine Foxy...and yup you have told us before..

LOL bumper...that would certainly put the frighteners up people!

I only ever napped once when DS was a littl'un (had been really ill and was exhausted)....and woke up to him twisting the specs off my face and breaking them (he was only trying to help). Never made that mistake again.

Holly has a pool for her birth too.

One job a day is reasonable. But I am due 20 days after you, so easy enough for me to say!

foxybrown · 24/05/2007 21:52

Do pay attention Daisy!

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 21:53

MIF...i can't even muster the energy to do one job.....my poor DH has just come back from a few days away working to the washng up only half done...i completely forgot I hadn't finished it earlier!

Midwives not coming? huh? Do they do that??

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 21:56

LOL at not really Scotland.

I lived in Edinburgh for over 15 years and the same could be said of the nicer bits there!!

But did you ever see Wills? We used to come up to the leisure centre quite a bit as it's much nicer than Kirkcaldy's and I was always Willie spotting much to DHs amusement!

sorry....did you say MW might not come????

bumperlicious · 24/05/2007 21:58

Bloody computer keeps freezing, so I'm going to go before I throw it! Going to bed soon anyway, bloody knackered. Hope everyone sleeps well. Look forward to hearing if there are any babies overnight. Good luck Kel if you are still lurking!

derlor · 24/05/2007 21:58

OH Derlor's Major claim to fame - i saw Wills at the St Andrews Bay Hotel when i was there for a conference - he's REALLY tall!!

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 22:00

But did you speak to him?

Is it likely MIF that the MWs won't come out to you? If not do you have to go to hospital?
Where's the nearest maternity unit for you...Ninewells?

eh no daisy i just stared, giggled and ran off like a crazy groupie!

foxybrown · 24/05/2007 22:04

Was he handsome?

derlor · 24/05/2007 22:06

he was actually but i'm a sucker for tall men - he was wearing a baseball cap and looked quite cool actually - couldn't tell he was going bald!!!! (mind you it was 5 years ago so maybe he still had all his hair )

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 22:06

At around the time we used to go up there a lot, DS was still a baby and DH and I were still officially apart....I'd been reading about how the Queen of Norway was a single mum working in a coffee house when the King met her....it gave me hope, dreams and hope

Oh sorry, am watching graham norton. Yes I know its shite and I should go to bed.

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 22:08

I think he is quite beautiful.....glad he got Diana's genes rather than Charlies.

Mind you, Harry is getting better with age I think and doesn't look too bad...for a ginger!

OP posts:
derlor · 24/05/2007 22:08

foxybrown · 24/05/2007 22:09

But harry doesn't have charles's genes does he?

Dead ringer for that hewitt bloke ...

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 22:09

I've just eaten a banana...you know that feeling when something seems like a good idea until about 10 seconds after you've done it....I think I'm going to be up all night now with killer heartburn
