LOL fatcatkin

....we have dyslexia as well as tourettes....(she said no doubt inflaming a whole other subset of mumsnet)

Emmymummy · 02/05/2007 12:36

Just having a bit of a giggle about all the fuss over your thread title - am from the 'due in April' AN thread, and we've had a fair amount of flak about our titles over the last few months, so the pressure's off us now and passed onto you guys . Oh, and it always gets blamed on your hormones (i.e. they can't help coming up with offensive thread titles as they're all pregnant, natch too hormonal to know what they're doing).

I'm now a week overdue with mine by the way. Exactly how much rent should I be charging?

Daisybump · 02/05/2007 12:37

PMSL emmymummy

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 02/05/2007 12:39

What a shame! We were all having such a nice time!
I've calmed down now - but it does piss me off when people mis-judge and make assumptions.
If I had been following this thread and didn't like how it was going - or - the title then I would just go and do something else instead - not have a moan about it?
Fanny - I'm very sure you are welcome here, but if you are very sensitive to swearing etc - you might get upset again?!

hollyandalice · 02/05/2007 12:41

Oh you poor thing emmymummy! Sending out to you now!

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 12:42

I.
AM
VERY
FUCKING
ANGRY

hollyandalice · 02/05/2007 12:43

I'm not reading it any more! It's dull!

I AM VERY HAPPY TO BE PREGNANT!!! Twunts!

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 12:45

what's for lunch?

BadZelda · 02/05/2007 12:47

Stay calm Foxy, and stop reading it. Most of the people that have a problem with it probably assume that the world revolves around them?

BrownSuga · 02/05/2007 12:50

Just posted over there, they really have no sense of humour, without laughter in life, it must be very tough for them to cope with anything.

Glad that June has the best thread titles, beats the crap of the "xx - part 4" type ones, how dull.

fannyannie · 02/05/2007 12:50

foxy - incase you're not reading the thread anymore - if you think the word terminating that I used in the very first post, of the very first June Antenatal club is in "bad taste" perhaps have a little read of this thread - you could find it explains some of it...

Daisybump · 02/05/2007 12:54

I'm just concerned that we have upset people......esp Fannyannie/HRHQueenofQuotes...but she stopped posting on the thread in October.....maybe if she'd hung around she would have realised what a nice caring and supportive bunch we all are....if slighty warped in our sense of humour

my iron is clicking on and off in the background...this house is gonna go up one of these days....

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 02/05/2007 12:59

I have to say I'm with you Foxy!

Off to AN class now - so must keep

fannyannie · 02/05/2007 13:01

Daisy - I actually left the site for a month in October (completely), then our computer wasn't 'in action' during almost all of December, January I nearly split up with my DH and by the time I felt ready to start posting on any antenatal threads again I didn't feel comfortable on it.......

(but you know what - you're as bad as me for using the search to 'research' what other people have been up to in their posting habits )

BadZelda · 02/05/2007 13:01

Oh by the way Stuart just emailed a pic of my my secret shower present....from poole (hmmm the detective in me is now trying to work out who that's from...). A lovely Mother Goose book - so which clever person worked out I'm a total bibliophile? Ella was read to before the bump was even visible from the outside!...also thanks for the cute little washcloth...will encourage me to be less of a soap-dodger ;)

thanks littlelapin, you are kind

hollyandalice · 02/05/2007 13:08

Can I just change the subject and have a proud mummy moment for a sec?! My wonderful clever dd has just shown me she knows all the letters of the alphabet! Don't know where she gets it from !!

Daisybump · 02/05/2007 13:09

Fannyannie...I only did the search cos I've been posting since October on this thread and didn't recognise your name...and I searched for you before I realised you were on the other thread, that's all...I was a bit put out though that you came on here immediately after giving us a bit of grief on the other thread...

.....But as we some of us have said, we haven't meant to offend anyone, although our titles have gotten a bit more wicked since we were first objected to about the "you toucha my bump" one.

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 13:09

DKMAFRME - good luck! hope you don't get scared (bit late now anyway).

now, my children are being fed, what can I have?

Daisybump · 02/05/2007 13:10

My iron is still on....

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 13:10

Aw Holly, we are ALL proud of your DD today!

Daisy - behave yourself! Leave it for the other thread - this one is for lovliness and ranting only!!
