I'm back - not much sleep, but I'm so tired
On one hand I just want an hour off from them to have a snooze, on the other hand I want them to continue and get closer together

Katy44 · 26/04/2007 22:14

No I did try to sleep, but failed

EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 22:16

must say, never really understood the 'try to get some sleep' thing, they hurt, how the f@@k do you sleep thru that

Sorry I left you Ellie - I feel bad now .... thought I'd pop back to give you a [[hug] .... and one for katy as she's here too now .... [[hug]]

Right - really going now ....

Katy44 · 26/04/2007 22:20

Well then really goodnight CD!
Ellie, last night I managed to kind of relax with my eyes shut between each one and then get up when I was having them. But that was probably every 15 minutes - 7 is obviously too short.

oooggs · 26/04/2007 22:23

Katy hope this is it for you hun

EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 22:25

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 22:26

OP posts:
Katy44 · 26/04/2007 22:38

Thanks oooggs, how are things with you?

Katy44 · 26/04/2007 22:40

Ellie, you know you had that dream? Well although I wasn't really asleep between contractions last night - you know where you're not fully awake but not asleep either, I kept having really vivid images or dreams of my baby. Picturing him as a newborn. Suppose that's my body doing positive mental attitude!

Katy44 · 26/04/2007 22:43

Right I'm going to have to do something can't keep my eyes open, probably back soon, unless you've gone to bed, in which case good night xx

EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 22:52

i'm still here

OP posts:
Katy44 · 26/04/2007 23:10

hi
they're getting stronger but not closer together

EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 23:12

they might not get closer together for a while Katy, have you taken any paracetamol?

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 23:18

where is your labour thread?

OP posts:
Katy44 · 26/04/2007 23:24

labour thread
Why should I take paracetemol? The reason I ask is because the MW last night told me to, and it was 20 minutes after that when my contractions slowed right down. Was that definitely a coincidence? if so, should probably take a couple
Have just read weeonion's thread, really that she is feeling so awful and hope things start to look brighter in the next day or so.

EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 23:28

it was a coincidence
take some, it'll take the edge off the pain

OP posts:
Katy44 · 26/04/2007 23:28

OK, have already been to get some water in the hope you'd reply that thanks

EllieKthePA · 26/04/2007 23:30

i didn't have that luxury, what with having no water

OP posts:
Katy44 · 26/04/2007 23:32

Katy44 · 26/04/2007 23:32
