hi everyone > Come on girlies, labour vibes all round!

Just sent email round. Could someone have a look if it's come through ok? Not sure if i'm doing it right.

Just got Zazas too, oooooo... lovely piccies. and great story to 7min 2nd stage.

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 13:27

Yes Katy, please let it not be us that buck the trend. Mind you, have now run out of raspberry leaf tincture, so need to give birth today really....

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 13:29

Eca - your email has arrived, but there are no photos attached...should there have been?

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 13:30

glitterkitty - I know, I absolutely hate that! And I would never inflict that on anyone else either (sorry if TMI)
In fact there was a thread about that recently too!

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 13:31

Emmymummy - really? What have you been taking, the tablets or the tea? I'm out to get more tea today if I can get some, do you want me to send you some (it could be there by tomorrow)

eca · 23/04/2007 13:33

yeh, there should have been a couple. Ok, going to plan B and will send another from my other e-mail address xx

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 13:33

eca, I don't have your email

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 13:33

That's probably just my hotmail tho, don't think it can cope with more than one email every ten minutes!!

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 13:35

Aww thanks Katy, that's really kind of you to offer, but don't worry. I've been taking the tincture (which is a concentrated liquid form), but i should just get off my lazy arse and pop out to get some more. I do have some tea left, but have been avoiding it as it's foul, but I guess I'll just glug my way through that now.

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 13:35

i got the email, the photos are attached but are right at the bottom, not attached where they are listed

Nope, the photos aren't even there on mine....

liath · 23/04/2007 13:37

Eca, afraid I didn't get the pics either.

Zazas, utterly gorgeous photos and I loved your birth story. I have to confess I felt like a bloody Goddess after my HB, the most amazing experience ever.

Hope all the cake baking is going well

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 13:38

Must get off my lazy bum and go to Asda!

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 13:38

Oooh yes, cake. Must wash up and start baking! But do you promise it will make my baby come out Liath?

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 13:39

Katy

do you need more tea?

eca · 23/04/2007 13:46

ok, have tried again.

liath - lol at feeling like a goddess after your homebirth, that's exactly how i felt. And i've been on such a high thatt i've told everyone about it in far too much detail!!

eca · 23/04/2007 13:48

katy - lol at hotmail. yes, they are crappy! enjoy asda!

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 13:52

Eca - got them! Totally gorgeous! I am clucking like mad here!!!

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 13:54

yep, me too, thanks eca. Off to have a look at them now then going out. See you soon everyone

maveta · 23/04/2007 14:26

Thanks for the photos and emails Eca and Zazas.. brought tears to my eyes and as you say, I think hearing everyone´s news, birth stories and seeing your pics really helps us all get through this last stretch..

Liath - the labour cake is in the oven so fingers crossed it works (or at least tastes fabulous!) - will let you know how it came out..

right, off to catch up on what else has been going on.. what´s all this about bog brushes??

heidle · 23/04/2007 15:01

hi again you guys!
strange day here - my dh came home from work poorly (pah, men)and then school rang to say could I get ds1 who had a headache, meanwhile ds2 finished nursery at 12, so a full house all afternoon! it feels like a weekend, but I am trying hard to be quiet!
I hope they all perk up before baby comes!

good thing us women are strong!

maveta - we are staying in cala egos, have never been before, we usually stay up in the north. really looking forward to another explore of the island, and yes please, it would be great to meet up if poss! oooh how exciting..... let us know if the labour cake works, I may have to nip back out for ingredients..........

oooggs · 23/04/2007 15:01

hello - labour vibes to all who need them - not really time to post but wanted you to know that I am thinking of you all.

Registering births this afternoon - no other news really except will soon need a 2nd mortgage to feed Jack!!! Erin still a little madam

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 15:04

Hi Ooogs, Hi Ellie!

Liath - labour cake is lovely! Kind of broke up when I tipped it out of the pan but hey, doesn´t change the taste.. very nice. Have only had two slices though, do I have to eat the whole thing to go into labour?

Heidle - haven´t been to cala egos but it´s by Cala D´or, right? Very nice down there, lovely beaches. We´re more in the north west but am sure we´ll manage a meet up, nowhere is too far from anywhere else here!

Think I might need to go have a nap now... x

liath · 23/04/2007 16:15

Glad it tastes good, Maveta. Am going to feel very responsible if it doesn't work .

Mmm cake. Eating was one of the very few enjoyable things about pregnancy and now I've got about a stone to lose I think . Oh well, my taste for wine has come back so I've had a glass of red every evening and it has tasted fantastic. Bloody cheeky DH said two days after I'd given birth "When do you start your diet then?" Doesn't he realise how many extra calories you need when breast-feeding??
