nuttygirl · 07/04/2007 22:04

Hey all,

Just a quick post so you're not worried! Just been having a crappy day today (DH being a PITA & ILs getting to me a bit) but all sorted now. I did pop on earlier to check you were ok Ellie but didn't feel like posting.

Congrats Pinions , but did you forget you were meant to wait for me & Lesley so we could have 3 babies at the same hospital on the same day ?????

Loving the names Pinions & Yvie.

Lesley - so sorry to hear about your friend, thinking of you (((hugs)))

Think I had a couple of contractions yesterday (they were stronger than the BHs I've been hvaing - took my breath away a bit) but nothing today so not getting too exited!

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 22:04

how long a bath octo, so i know when to check back?

OP posts:
octo · 07/04/2007 22:04

im back! with slightly more typing ability than last night!

who is in labour now......these threads confuse me!

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 22:47

well, CD is having pre-labour pains

and Octo is having contractions, but then she has been on and off for weeks

so she went to have a bath and see if they stopped or got worse

just waiting for her return

how many dc's do you have?

OP posts:
octo · 07/04/2007 22:51

I'm back again! Can't decide what is going on - think bed would be a good idea though - also force feeding dh pints of water just in case! I genuinely believe I will still be here atleast a week after my due date!

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 22:52

if you're going to bed then go, stop trying to work it out cos you'll never rest x

good morning folks. any news from octo?
luce - i read your last post first and thought that you were having contractions and waiting to contact your doc!

Eddas · 08/04/2007 07:01

ME too wo, thought it odd to be going to gp on easter sunday

DD has decided to get up early today, was awake anyway so nevermind. We'd put easter eggs round the front room, kinda hidden but she's only 2yrs 10 months so not too hidden. She now wants to eat easter eggs but it's a little early. Think i'll have to let her have something, bit cruel otherwise

Anyway still no signs of bloody labour here. Got my sweep tomorrow so I really hope that will kick things off.

Lesley, so sorry to hear about your friend . At least she isn't in pain anymore and you had the privilege of being her friend for all those years >>

it's the pg brain, what can i say

weeonion · 08/04/2007 07:17

our bloody cat has decided that5.30am is get up time in our flat. that used to be the time i left for work at but - she hasnt cottoned on that i am on leave. what the heck as i meant to do on easter sunday morning at this hour????? i dont even have any easter eggs bought in to start into!

eddas - what time is yr sweep?

Eddas · 08/04/2007 07:22

Wo, if you were near me you could pop over, we've got loads of eggs

Well when i asked mw what sort of time the sweep would be she said 'anytime between 9am and 5pm'. Guess i'm not going out tomorrow Apparantly it just depends on what they have to do tomorrow, which is fair enough i suppose and TBH, i can't face going anywhere as I get too many comments and questions about the bump
