i never knew when matthew had 'finished' while bf oooggs, he'd feed for ages!

Back again - still feeling super-crappy - hardly eaten anything all day, feel like I need to poo, but can't, lots of weird pain - Tried to walk through town earlier and could only manage snail's pace ...... Bleurgh!

Anyway - no "proper" contractions yet - so who knows ......

Ooggs - Not sure on the BF Q - when they "settle", I guess - You feed them until they slow down and stop, wind them, offer them the other breast and just be lead by them. Don't wear yourself out though hon - BF lying down if poss. It's been a while since I BF so can't remember all that well. You are doing so well. xx

Ooooggs- just read your post how do you know when a breast fed baby is finshed i'm having the same problem with lola. it is very hard to tell when she is done as she comfort sucks.
i put her on my shoulder to wind her and if she tries to suck my neck or arm then she needs more but if she just floops there she is done.
takes me about half an hour to feed her
don't know if that helps any
can you tell iam typing one handed again.
zed has been in a funny mood today, awake alot more than normal and moaning alot

I might not be on for a while, but didn't want you to think I'd sneaked off to have the baby without telling. If there's any action in that area I'll certainly let you know.

My sick friend back in Newcastle finally passed away at about 6pm. I met her on my first day at primary school so we'd been friends for 27 years. She's been fighting cancer for the last 3 years and in the last month deteriorated very quickly. I'm kind of numb at the mo and not feeling v.social.

I'll still log on to check that those babies are still popping out. Best of luck to those of you who think they're coming out soon.
