hey all!

Just caught up! What a crazy night! Loving the virtual doulaing from Ellie and Lesley. Not to mention Penelope's contribution!! HAHAHA!

Well done Pinions! You are a star! And welcome Theo to the world, lovely name!

And Yvie, baby Sarai is beautiful. Congratulations!

Feel like we should be cracking the champers on this thread today!

xx

Pinions, lovely baby and lovely name.
So pleased for you.

I want a baby NOW! I keep suggesting that the weather is lovely and that the baby should come out and take a look! Nothing so far!!

Just ordered my TENS machine, so I expect that will put the kibosh (sp????) on any early appearances.

CD, how are you, you said you were a bit rough earlier.

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 15:27

Good luck pet.

Ellie, thanks for the piccie, I received it. I think talktalk mail is playing up a bit again hence the problem, as I am awaiting another email from someone else.

CONGRATULATIONS PINIONS

That was some fantastic posting this morning pinions, ellie, lesley and not forgetting penelopepitstops fantastic drunk chat. rofl

bit hard to type at the mo zed is asleep in my arm doing it 1 handed.

just had a thought I have some really good advice for the people who have a c-section coming up soon.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD CLEAR OUT BEFORE YOU HAVE IT

When I say clear out I mean POO, try and make sure you have some "fybogel" or something to help you go before you have your section or you may find like me you get some very very bad painful constipation.
If it is a planned section they wil tell you to have your last bit of food around 12 o'clock at night that is when you should have a glass of "fybogel" to help clear you out that night or next morning.
apparently it is very comon to get constipated as your bowels are all compaced up when babies in there, then after the section you don't have any bowel movements for a couple of days so it all builds up.

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 16:08

hello 1b3

i guess you must pretty much permanently have a babe in arms?

OP posts:
eca · 07/04/2007 16:13

Gosh, it's quiet on here today. You're not telling me some of you actually have a life!!!

Ellie - i got picture all ok 1st time. Thanks for sending all the updates etc. You're a love.

Hi 1b3! ! Nice to 'see' you. Glad to hear dt's are doing ok. Did you sort somewhere for them to sleep safely from DD in kitchen??

Hi SOSPL!

Come on CD! Lots of labour vibes to you!

eca · 07/04/2007 16:14

Well, if CD's not pushing yet, why is she not chatting on here????

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 16:15

"bollocks. what do you put in a birth plan?"

Oh CD in labour how exciting

I have decided that the dt's can stay in their box for the moment and when dh goes back to work I will put them in a play pen and cross my fingers that DD doesn't throw anything over the sides.

Ellie you would think that I would have a baby in my arms all the time but I am a mean mummy I don't pick them up unless they are crying for at least a couple of min's, I don't want to get into that whole having them permanently attached to my hip thing. Plus DD is a little bit sensitive with me holding them as I can't pick her up.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 07/04/2007 16:24

Ellie, good point. I just always assume that talktalk is to blame as it is normally!!

Hi 1b3, lovely to see you and glad thngs are going well.

Hi eca.

eca · 07/04/2007 16:26

hang on - cd thinks she's in labour, but is at work

1b3 - lol at "I have decided that the dt's can stay in their box for the moment" - quote of the week material!! You sound like you're a very sensible mummy and coping really well with 3 dc!

EllieKthePA · 07/04/2007 16:29

i think that seems a very sensible approach 1b3!

CD isn't actually in labour yet, just feels it's starting (sicky, shitty etc )

oh! ok, was thinking she was some kind of super woman then! ha!

ellie - saw your other thread about syntometrine (???sp???) etc. Glad to hear you might have someone lined up to be with you. Was beginning to think could i come down out the fens!? Ha! Not sure I'd be much use being a first-timer though. And all the hormones/baby vibes would probably set me off too! Then we'd be in a state!
