Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 20:35

Mossie . Mind you, I'm not due til 25th, dd was a week late, so I might be in your situation come May.....

sort of EM, had planned to use the zapp whenever we go into town, but to use it for a newborn i have to take the seat cover off and put the car seat on, which means if i need it for matthew and have baby in sling, i have to reattach the seat covers which isn't easy. would really prefer a pushchair that fully reclines but matthew had a pram and never a fully reclining pushchair. pram would never fit in my car!

Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 20:44

Heel? Hell!

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 20:49

Evening - Phew- sounds like the girls have finally settled down after returning from PIL - they are always completely wired when we get home - exhausting stuff - must have taken DD1 out of DD2's cot about 7 times!!

Tea at PIL was ok, but I couldn't help being a little cold and distant, esp towards FIL who spent a good proportion of the time gazing wistfully in the direction of them usic room he is decorating - TBH - DH & I both thought it looked pretty much finished and couldn't understand why FIL couldn't help MIL take the DD's out for the day tomorrow so we oculd have a break .... .... but that's another story ....

Anyway - we survived!

Smole!! Congratulations! - On the arrival of wee Jesse - looking forward to hearing more and seeing pics of the gorgeous wee mite! Thinking of you as you have to go through the turmoil of tests etc - Just sooooo pleased he is here now and safe after your previous experiences - He is so precious!

Welcome to whywhywhy - Better late than never!

That PG Barbie is just plain disturbing and it's called Midge ffs!!? She is anatomically wrong - her legs would SNAP under the weight of that belly!!!!

My Bump looks enormous all of a sudden .....

Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 20:51

CD - they have a Music Room?

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 20:51

Hi Mossie!

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 20:52

Oh yes - they have many rooms!!

MIL showed me her £500 Wedding outfit for DH's sis' Wedding in June while we were there!!

They spent exactly £6.50 on DD1 for her Birthday this year.

EllieKthePA · 08/04/2007 20:53

how do you not lose it with them CD?

OP posts:
Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 20:53

Ooooo I want to slap them on your behalf .

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 20:56

Guess I am just very accepting and easy-going .... ?? I take it out on poor DH instead!

EllieKthePA · 08/04/2007 20:58

let us at 'em Dippy, you know you want to

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 20:58

MIL also had the cheek to say: "Ooooh, you must be so excited about going shopping for your outfit!" (For SIL's Wedding.) I was like: "Erm. Yeah. Right. I live in hosue that doesn't have any curtains or light fittings. I think I'll just be wearing a rubbish sack at this rate. You can only look forward to going shopping for anything ify ou can actually afford to go shopping for anything ....." She just changed the subject .....

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 20:59

Can you imagine my PIL's faces if they open the door to a rabble of great big PG woman who were "out to get 'em!!"

Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 21:00

They just sound so completely selfish. Do they not realise how hard it is for you? How do they think spending £500 on an outfit makes you feel? The least they could do is help out with the dds occasionally. I really feel for you CD.

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 21:01

Awww, thanks hon. I am ok with it most of time though. We are blessed in many other ways. For a start, I have a wonderful DH, two beautiful girls, another gorgeous wee one on the way and a home of my very own ..... I just concentrate on those things and it is not so bad!

EllieKthePA · 08/04/2007 21:03

and Martin Shaw is back on tv, who needs anything other than that

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 21:04

Ooooh. Do you fancy him too, Ellie?? Weird, isn't it!!?

Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 21:04

That's good that you can see all the positives CD, and we should all be thankful for what we have. I totally know what you mean as we're also blessed in many ways .

CaptainDippy · 08/04/2007 21:04

Sadly - we don't have a TV.

Emmymummy · 08/04/2007 21:05

I don't fancy Martin Shaw. Is there something wrong with me?
