GOD I am so jealous of ANYONE going to the beach!!! I love being anywhere near sea/sand esp with kiddies I am very very .

We're a good few miles away so would take at least an hour ish?, doesn't sound that far I suppose but still .

AND the kids love it.

AND if they POO on the beach not as bad as pooing on the drive. (Joke). I wouldn't let him do that.

Off to go and try and cheer myself up a bit.
Agree 100% with Runny on the coping with sad news thing, thats me too. Not only that but I am two days away from labour, can't really be thinking about that right now.

Off to go and spy on the Post-natal.

Bye all and catch up later x

Pinions - I once lost ds1 in Gap - had ds2 in pushchair - looked everywhere for him - we eventually found him weeing out the door onto the pavement [shock Was completely mortified!!!!

runnyhabbit · 06/04/2007 12:43

Afternoon all

Dh was my own personal winch to get me in and out the bath last night - he's got lovely strong arms (the rest of him is pretty strong too ) Actually his arms were one of the first things I noticed about him......but thats another story!

Not sure if I'm going to be able to get on here much this weekend, so I hope everyone has lovely weather, and does nice things (and a few more babies wouldn't go amiss )

Lots of love to you all
xx

Pinions · 06/04/2007 12:47

Yeh its the same when you're on hol and you see them at the edge of pool weeing straight into the pool where everyone is swimming. Help. Least I won't have to worry about that one this year! Theres no flying for us with a newborn, no thanks.

I think this time it just caught him "on the hop" iykwim, he has never done anything like that b4. Anyway he is happy and safe that it the main thing.

I am suddenly being really overprotective of him, I don't know if its those hormones taking over yet again?

Pinions · 06/04/2007 12:53

PS where is the sun today???

runnyhabbit · 06/04/2007 12:55

pinions - its in South Wales - have had to put suncream on me and ds because its so hot.

Pinions · 06/04/2007 12:57

runnyhabbit · 06/04/2007 13:00

Not too far - Blackwood is about 30/40 mins in the car.

Pinions · 06/04/2007 13:02

Ok. But nice weather still. Was lovely yest and day b4, can't remember the days anymore, preg mush brain.

On forecast its supposed to be blazing up here and its pants. Its a shame cos I was just starting to tan. C if it clears up later.

EllieKthePA · 06/04/2007 14:25

i have a working dishwasher

will hopefully make life so much easier with baby around

only downside was that i couldn't use the washing machine all morning but hopefully this lovely weather will last and i can get it all done over next few days.

twinkle183 · 06/04/2007 16:25

Hi ya girls...

Twinkle183 just checking in to let you know that I am still pregnant unfortunately... am due tomorrow but have a feeling that I will go over... To be honest its not that that I mind - its the fact that dh goes away on the 17th April for 7 weeks and he won't get time to spend with the baby....

He's being great about it all and not putting added pressure on me but I can feel myself adding it to myself...

Congrats to the recent new additions to our thread... its great news that we are so lucky to all that have had babies so far to have had healthy ones....

Can't wait to be a mum and again and start enjoying the beautiful cornish spring that we are having down here instead of feeling so uncomfortable!!!

Take care everyone...

twinkle183 (39+6)

CaptainDippy · 06/04/2007 16:34

Awwww, Twinkle - Hope you have your bubba soon so DH has prooperly enjoy him / her before going away sweetie!

Yey to working dishwasher Ellie....

Had a lovely time on the beach - it is soooo nice living near the sea! I grew up with the nearest beach about 2 hrs away, so it is extra lovely now we live here - the novelty doesn't seem to wear off either!!

DD's are very tired and grumpy now, just making dinner, then bath and early night, me thinks (us and the DD's ..... completely knackered, even though it is only a 15 min walk to the beach from our house....)

Took the DD's on a Pedlo on the way home - must be crazy!!! Trampolines, bouncey castles, rolling in the hay, twisty slides ..... what else can I tackle with my huge Bump!!!? Challenge me, I defy you!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend whatever you are doing ....

Bramshott · 06/04/2007 16:49

ARggh no brain, but v quickly to say:

Congrats to Yvie!!!!

Yay to Tili on head-down bump. Looking forward to getting your text honey!

Ellie - you are TOOOOO efficient! What will we do when you have your baby and can't look after us all day?!? THanks for update on May thread too .

octo · 06/04/2007 16:53

Aftrnoon - just checking back in - having contractions again - but in daytime!!!

ds2 asleep on chair, ds1 watching dvd with dh - all calm and peaceful apart from me niggling away!

Hello Twinkle

Beach sounds lovely CD

When oh when will this baby come out?????????

nellyhel · 06/04/2007 17:02

Hello all. Just a quick catch up before guilt takes over and I go to feed and bath dcs! They are like others exhausted from so much fresh air and sunshine this week. Today went to adventure playground with them and my sister (too scared to drive far by myself!). Sadly I didn't get to go on the zip slide as it was for under 9 stone only - wouldn't make that at the best of times. Did have to keep pulling it back up for dd though and walked the most in ages, so may have done me some good.

Took notion for a curry last night but it had no affect whatsoever. Probably just as well as I STILL have a cold and sore throat - dreamt about gas and air hurting my throat - turned out to actually be my sore throat when I woke up!

twinkle - hoping you get an easter baby

Also at May news but unable to read posts - don't want to be caught crying by dd especially.

Hope everyone else who was feeling fed up is a bit better, but if no more babies then probably not yet...

nellyhel · 06/04/2007 17:04

Keeping fingers crossed for you too Octo!

octo · 06/04/2007 17:04

COMPLAINT ABOUT TITLE ALERT - CAN'T DO LINKS ...

mammyjo · 06/04/2007 17:09

Hello all. Quick hello from me. Just seem to have no time for anything right now! Dd still doing well and BF successful so far which I am so pleased about. Totally healed down there already and stitches have completely dissolved so feel that things are getting back to normal a bit. Sorry if this makes anyone but am back in my jeans already and am actually lighter now than pre conception - put that down to BF I think!

Who has had their babies? I am sure Ellie will have emailed to let me know but havent been into that for a few days either. Anyway, many congrats to any births I have missed in the last few days. Sorry for this being so impersonal, just wanted to check in and say I am still around! Good luck to all those due in the next few days - sending fast labour vibes to you all. Take care everyone and hope you are all well xxx

Have just checked my emails - thanks for the updates ellie, couldnt keep up without it. Really about the May babies. Puts things into perspective doesnt it, praying that all due april babies arrive safely to us all.

Congrats to both Yvie and Ange on your dd's! Isobelle is a beautiful name Ange. What did Yvie call her little one, anyone know yet?
