and, he turned up there last week in flash car and suit, told them it was company car and he had important meeting, they now know he had no job at the time oops!

CaptainDippy · 05/04/2007 22:49

Yes, runny, I agree! glad it went so well!

EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 22:50

twas hilarious, finding out most of what he's told me was lies, that i'd been worried because of him, they have no issues with me at all and were expecting me to get sick of him

EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 22:51

so, while i shouldn't have found it funny, hearing his dad take the mick out of him did make me giggle

EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 22:51

sooooooo glad i went now

runnyhabbit · 05/04/2007 22:53

Changing the subject completely, my groin pain has come back, so am going to wake up dh (he has fallen asleep on settee) and get him to help me into the bath.

runnyhabbit · 05/04/2007 22:54

Night night

Morning all.

Think I might take a wee break for a few days. All I do is moan and I should just be grateful that I'm having a healthy baby (especially after all the upset we had with the Mystery Bowel thingy earlier).

Have a lovely Easter everyone. Will be back after getting myself into a nicer frame of mind.

Morning

Laith - hope you feel a bit brighter soon hun, you do whatever you need to do {hug}

Very sad to hear about the news of the twin on the May thread. Desperatley sad.

EllieK - glad tea with the outlaws went well , excellent that you will hopefully have some extra and reliable support to help out.

Runny -hope you got some sleep last night after your bath.

I'm up with James, letting Phil have a lie in as he's had a hectic couple of weeks and lots of travelling. No real plans for the day apart from MIL and FIL coming over tomorrow - praying for nice weather!!!

Have a nice day everyone

Morning - popping in on the pretence of "checking what time the tip is open this Bank Holiday"! DH is playing the piano and DD's are running riot ....

Half-way through writing the envelopes for Birth Announcements - hoping DH will actually make the photography I've taken into a print-off-able card soon ......

What are people's plans today? Quiet(ish) morning for us and then off down the beach with some people from church for a picnic - Should be good, my girls LOVE the beach and the weather looks very promising today, which is great!

I wonder if they'll be any Good Friday babies today?????? ........

KatyTheProcrastinator · 06/04/2007 08:35

Morning, hope everyone has a good day

Morning all. at May babies news....

I was convinced that I was having the baby last night - no real reason except it fitted in beautifully with our Easter plans! Needless to say I sit here all round Last one arrived by this date (4 days before EDD), first one 4 days late so who knows. But with the constant banging away on my cervix I can't imagine I can hold her in much longer!

It is hard work at the end isn't it? Finally on ML yesterday and found I could only manage a few things then I needed to rest. Getting up the stairs warrants a complete lie down! Haven't ventured in to my daughter's 3rd floor bedroom in days!

Anyway a quiet day in this household - a walk to bring on labour, a shop to find a pineapple and a few more cups of rassberry tea - oh the excitement of it all!

I will text Yvie to see if her baby girl has a name?

CaptainDippy · 06/04/2007 10:46

Hello zazas!! Hope your little one comes soon sweetie - Perhaps you will be one of our Easter baby providers!!?? - Come on - there's got to be one or two ...... surely......??

Yes, it would be lovely to find out the name of Yvie's LO if they have decided yet!

DD2 sleeping, DD1 doing cooking with daddy. I am going to go and buy more envelopes for Birth Announcements and a few bits for picnic this PM.

Think baby is trying to escape out of my right side ...... it is like something out of Alien!!

EllieKthePA · 06/04/2007 10:50

hi all
just popping in, my uncle is here fitting my dishwasher (off ebay, birthday present from my mum!)

he's cut through the power to one socket so has taken matthew shopping for new cable/socket or something!

gonna get on with tidying before they get back, matthew is off to his dad's at 12 and needs clothes to take with him

CaptainDippy · 06/04/2007 11:29

Hi Ellie!

Off to beach in a sec, need to make sandwiches and get generally organised ....

1becomes3 · 06/04/2007 11:31

Morning all that is so about the may twins. I was already teary this morning after very little sleep but reading that has just really set me off.

Makes me realise how lucky I am to have my 2 healthy and happy babies.

LesleyR · 06/04/2007 11:41

Morning everyone.

Awful news from May thread lost the heart to post last night after reading.

No big plans for today, maybe a walk and a pub lunch. DH and I have just realised that this might be our last weekend as a twosome!

I hope everyone has a fun/relaxing/restorative time this weekend and that at least 2 or 3 of us have happy news for everyone before it's over

octo · 06/04/2007 12:34

Afternoon all No more babies yet then

Can't read the May thread or stuff like that get too upset.

Will catch up latre xoxoxoxox

Emmymummy · 06/04/2007 12:34

That is so, so sad about loosing the little twin. My heart goes out to the lady & her family.

Am feeling a little blue today anyway. Call it hormones I guess, but am feeling below par compared to how I have been recently. Maybe it's because I've finished work and my boby has just decided it's now had enough. Am very sleepy and keep getting shooting pains right up my you-know-what (sorry if TMI). I now understand the KNUF feeling, kinda takes your breath away!

Hope you all have a lovely day, very of you going to the beach CD. Would love some sea air. We're just heading round a friend's house to sit in the garden & picnic as that's about all I can manage today. Catch up later xxx
