May I join you all? Was briefly a member here at the start of the year (different name) but sadly miscarried.

Our due date now is end of March! We had a worrying twelve week scan but since then everything has been progressing well (touch wood)

MarmiteandToast · 22/10/2017 10:48

Ps has anyone else been told by their midwife that March is looking to be a really busy month for them?!

BeckleinDisguise · 25/10/2017 10:09

Goodness, it’s quiet here!

Hello, Marmite, welcome back! I’m glad things are found well since your scan! 2 more days until my next one and though I've started to feel some movement now I’m still bricking it!
My gut feeling is that I’m having a girl but only because the nausea has been so bad, with my boys I had barely any and it lasted 3-4 weeks, with DD it was awful and went on for months! I’m probably wrong though, it’s probably age related 😝

How is everyone else?

Scoobygang7 · 25/10/2017 10:30

@BeckleinDisguise I thought the same as my boys pregnancy was so different however nope I am having another boy lol

suntraveller · 26/10/2017 09:10

I had my 20 week scan this week, but I'm actually 21 weeks. Like you @beck I was also anxious while waiting for the scan but everything turned out fine. Baby was wriggling so much but I hardly felt it, so the scan was reassuring for something. It was quite a long scan, about 35mins, getting measurements of this and that. This is my first, so I'm just wondering, is that really it with the scans, no more ?? :(

BeckleinDisguise · 27/10/2017 21:45

Scooby - I am also having a boy! I guess I was just really lucky sickness-wise in my pregnancies with my boys!

Scan went well today and all looks good. Placenta is still anterior but its nice and high so that is a good thing! Like you suntraveller baby was wriggling around loads but I couldn't feel any of it except when the scan probe was pressing on him. It is a long scan and the lady doing it today talked me through all of it - there's so much they check for. Baby was not particularly co-operative but the sonographer did manage to see everything she needed to and capture a good profile shot for me too. This is really it with the scans now though suntraveller unless you need one later on due to concerns about baby's size or reduced movements. I will get one at 36 weeks to check size because my DD was huge and got stuck at the shoulders - they don't want that happening again. It is a long time to go which is why a lot of people pay for 4D scans!

mummymathsteacher · 30/10/2017 17:09

Glad to hear the scans are going well. It's really quiet in here....had everyone migrated to fb?

OrangeCloud18 · 30/10/2017 19:03

I am on FB but also still following here. I have been so busy with work and moving house though. Handing the keys to the old flat tomorrow so less stress from then on I hope. How is everyone getting on?

scottishem · 30/10/2017 19:43

I'm still here! But had a crappy couple of weeks, hypermesis has started to kick my ass again so back on my meds and went for my whooping cough vaccination to discover I couldn't have it because I have a respiratory infection so also been on antibiotics and been signed off for a week to rest. Back to work tomorrow and dreading it as sickness is always worse when I'm at work.
Also got 20 week scan on Friday so the anxiety is kicking in.
Although been feeling baby move a little more, movements are still sporadic but when I do feel them theyre stronger.
Hows everyone else doing? Anyone started buying stuff? We got our crib the other daySmile

OrangeCloud18 · 31/10/2017 06:53

scottishem I never stopped the meds... GP wamted me to go on 3 cyclizine a day instead of 1 Ondansetron and I enelded up throwing up again and not keeping anything down. Back on Ondansetron now and feelimg better but worse then I was before.
I had my 20 weeks scan two weeks ago and all was well. We are having a baby boy :)
I've mostly bought clothes so far but we are gettinf second hand furniture from families in the next month or so.

Onceuponamama · 01/11/2017 18:39

I'm still here too! 22 weeks on Friday and we've found out that we're expecting a little girl!

MarmiteandToast · 01/11/2017 19:00

Glad scans are going well

I had a search but please could someone point me in direction of March Facebook group?

OrangeCloud18 · 01/11/2017 20:42

Marmite You need to send a PM to FuzzyOwl and she will add you to the group.

Heppy88 · 07/11/2017 19:24

Hi all

I've been lurking for a while but finally plucked up the courage to get involved. Expecting my first baby (a girl Smile) due on 7 March.

Is anyone else struggling to sleep at night or is it just me? I've been experiencing difficulties since about 12 weeks but the last week or so has been the worst.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 09/11/2017 08:57

Hello ladies! I hope your all okay 💖
Remember me? Just wanted to tell you afrer my Mc in sep I'm now pregnant again..yay! I know it's early days but just wanted to tell you all :) I'm already starting to feel sick 🙈 and I'm only 4+1 so i hope the HG doesn't kick in really soon. Take care xx

CCBloom1 · 09/11/2017 11:39

Welcome Heppy88

Congratulation BlueeSpottyTiger that is amazing news. Keep us updated :)

Scoobygang7 · 09/11/2017 12:32

Welcome @Heppy88

That is brilliant news @BlueeSpottyTiger congratulations xx

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 09/11/2017 19:36

Congratulations @BlueeSpottyTiger - wonderful news.

Welcome @Heppy88

I have been pretty rubbish at checking in here since joining the fb group. Blush 20+4 now and all going well (although am also sleeping really badly). My 5yo felt his little sister wriggling tonight which was a pretty lovely moment.

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 12/11/2017 11:14

I haven't posted here for ages, as I get preoccupied by the facebook group - feel like I should make more of an effort!

Welcome Heppy88, and huge congratulations to BlueSpottyTiger! Wishing you the best xx

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 12/11/2017 11:18

Forgot to say, Heppy88, I've been sleeping very badly lately - I keep waking up with a raging thirst and desperate for a wee, so can't fix one problem without making the other one worse Hmm I really struggle to get back to sleep afterwards too, although finally managed to sleep through last night so feeling a bit more human today.

blinkineckmum · 12/11/2017 22:40

Hello those still hanging on in mumsnet - I'm not on fb either! Just too busy to post. I am 22 weeks now and huge with my third. Didn't find out the sex but saw a healthy baby - very exciting! I am working 3 days a week and have a 3 and a 2 year-old, and lots going on (house on the market, busy time at work...) I am exhausted and feel really unfit and eating too much crap. But I feel like the baby's thriving! Love my 2 to pieces and can't wait to meet their baby brother or sister!

thaigreencurry82 · 13/11/2017 19:10

I'm 23 weeks with my first and can now see my tummy moving when she moves inside!! It's the most adorable thing ever

Flatwhite32 · 13/11/2017 19:25

Hi everyone! Remember me? I was on his group, but sadly had a MMC at 12 weeks back in August. I found out at the weekend that I'm pregnant again. Absolutely terrified doesn't begin to cover it! It's such a strange mix of emotions when you've had a precious loss and no history of a successful pregnancy. Just got to take each day as it comes. Hope you're all well.

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 13/11/2017 19:48

HUGE congratulations @flatwhite32. I can only imagine how scary pregnancy must be after a loss - I hope the next few weeks fly by uneventfully for you. Am so pleased to read your news.

hometownunicorn · 13/11/2017 20:07

Congratulation @BlueeSpottyTiger and @Flatwhite32 It’s so great to hear that both of you are pregnant again. I hope you have the dullest most uneventful pregnancies ever. Smile

The early weeks are so scary, especially after a loss but as far as I know there’s no reason for you not to have a healthy baby this time round. Although I’m 21 weeks now and still have to remind myself regularly that there’s no reason for anything to go wrong with this pregnancy. Good luck.
