weeonion · 02/04/2007 13:12

okfolks- a text from dooby herself! milo weighed in at 7lbs 13 @ 9.43am. he was only 36 weeks so that is a bit of a whopper!!

she is fine, a little sore but all worth it.
love to you all and she is waiting on all yr news now!

nuttygirl · 02/04/2007 13:13

Congratulations dooby hope you're recovering well.

Thanks to all those posting their labour stories and baby pics! It's so nice of you to share all this stuff at such a busy time

SOSPL - Glad the reunion went well. I take it from the fact you're on here today that you got your Talk Talk problems sorted?

CD - Have fun at the farm.

Ange - sending to you!!!

Erm...my mind has now gone blank...so sorry to those of you I haven't mentioned.

Eddas · 02/04/2007 13:17

Pesha, how about relationships? or there's one called lone parenting. I wouldn't put it in AIBU though as you're not, being totally normal IMO, HTH

Pesha · 02/04/2007 13:22

Thanks eddas, think ill go for relationships. And thanks for saying im not being unreasonable, i did think about putting it there cos do wonder if im overreacting abit cos of our past but I think if someone said i was id prob lose my temper just a little! Mind you I could pretend it was him i was ranting at and that might help!! Anyway ill shut up about it all now.

thePA · 02/04/2007 13:23

I though Dooby was due on 11th?That makes milo 38+4. Was her due date changed? Anyway fantastic news. Glad all ok. Thanks for the update weeonion.

Hi Nuttygirl

AngeG · 02/04/2007 13:31

I think Milo is such a sweet name. Would have liked it myself but already having Jake was a bit worried everyone would think I was naming them after the tweenies

Tili · 02/04/2007 13:32

hi

LOL CD icant help it last week there was babies galore we cant have people going over now can we Id got used to the constant action and drama!!

Midwife has been and wants me to have a scan possibly this week to make absolutely sure that baby is head down.
She can find the heartbeat in two places you see which is making it kind of uncertain.
She did say that she is 90% sure he is head down as the heartbeat is louder in that particular area but as my bump is so hard it is making things tricky. Also what ever is down there has now engaged. So fingers crossed ladies hes facing south!!

thePA · 02/04/2007 13:33

that confused me a bit too Ange, a planned c/s at 36 weeks would be really early wouldn't it?

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 02/04/2007 13:37

Hiya loves.

Ange, pmsl at Tweenies fetish! That would be very amusing indeed! Reunion with dh was fine thank you, although I was so tired and emotional last night, I think he wondered why he had come home!! Keep your legs crossed girl!

Nutty, yes, TalkTalk back up and running, although it only started working at about 9.00 last night. They really are a bunch of clueless plonkers at the customer service place.

CD, have fun at the farm.

Hotlips, hope your lo is better now.

Can't remember anything else! Going to finish my cuppa and have a nap I think. Feel like a space cadet today!

LesleyR · 02/04/2007 13:37

Nice to see Dooby took note of your first post on the thread PA.

Congratulations Dooby, lovely baby name too and a whopper for 36 weeks!

Pesha - sorry you're having such a bad time with you XP - he sounds like a PITA hope you manage to get things sorted out (hugs).

Bubblez - what gorgeous children you have! Congrats again.

Thanks for all messages about my friend, she's still hanging on. I didn't get to sleep until 4am last night, just couldn't switch off. Had some more sleep after DH left for work this morning though.

My mum is coming to stay tomorrow and i'm sure she'll be sending powerful "come and meet granny" vibes to LO. Don't know how much I'll be able to get on to check on latest arrivals.

PA Could I be added to your email update list? I don't fancy trying to plough through a couple of days worth of posting on Thursday. I'll email you again to make sure you have my address. Thanks.

AngeG · 02/04/2007 13:38

Yeah thePA. It would be early unless there was a problem...did Dooby have the baby today? It definitely says 11th as due date on the stats

Tili - Sounds positive. I'll keep sending head down vibes though just in case

nuttygirl · 02/04/2007 13:38

Tili - hoping the baby is head down and a bit that you get a scan!!!

I too was confused by dooby's 36 weeks...thought it would have been more than that. Maybe it's a typo????

thePA · 02/04/2007 13:39

Lesley, you're already on it hon, have you not got the ones about dooby today?

OP posts:
thePA · 02/04/2007 13:40

yeah, dooby went in yesterday for a planned c/s today, happened this morning.

OP posts:
thePA · 02/04/2007 13:41

and i keep getting muddled when you call me thePA might have to go back to EllieK, i'm clearly too dim to call myself anything else

OP posts:
AngeG · 02/04/2007 13:42

Enjoy your afternoon SOSPL. Glad all ok.

LesleyR - Thinking of you hun. Hope you have a good time with your mum.

AngeG · 02/04/2007 13:45

PMSL - Ellie

That's what I thought, maybe it's a typo as Nutty says.

LesleyR · 02/04/2007 13:47

Ellie/PA I've not had any emails. My name is spelled wrong on my email address (I've always been dippy can't blame baby for everything) so I've sent you another email just so you can check.

You could try being EllieKthreadPA it's a bit long but it rhymes [smiles]

runnyhabbit · 02/04/2007 13:48

Great news about dooby

Got some lovely new bedding from the designer outlet near me - complete set for £32 pounds - should've been about £70. So its in the wash ready to go on the line.

Ds is having a nap, so think I might join him Or I might just have a browse on MN

thePA · 02/04/2007 13:49

oooh, i like that one Lesley

OP posts:
thePA · 02/04/2007 13:51

i've replied to you Lesley as that email is the same one we've already got

OP posts:
LesleyR · 02/04/2007 13:59

Got mail Ellie and replied. How strange.

Going to do some housework now so my mum doesn't think I've got her down here to skivvy for me. She does like to clean though

thePA · 02/04/2007 14:01

ok Lesley, i'm gonna try sending another one now, with it going to the mumsnet group rather than you directly, look out for it, it might be going to your bulk/spam folder?
