ROLF at ooggss octo confusion, I thought that I had missed something as aswell
How is it going today Octo?

Labour vibes for ooggss

Maveta I am getting all those comments too. Am not due until the 23rd either so very I asked someone this morning why they were trying to wish my life away

My Lo keeps putting its feet on my pelvis/hip and I am really ticklish (sp??) so it makes me jump and shriek, of course everyone then thinks that I am about to pop the baby there and then But how do I stop it from doing it? Seems to be its favourite game

Ds has been up since 5am - yuck
Need to try and finish packing my bag but can't remember what else needs to go in it

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 10:24

All my others have either been due date or late so maybe not a good idea??

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 10:37

I would imagine I'll be late too so think we'll still be racing, just after the EDD.
Do we have anyone else due with us?

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 10:38

Bugmum on 22nd and Tili on 24th.

Hello Octo! Sleep well...

Hello flumppootle! Hello Katy44! It´s so nice to be reminded there´s quite a few of us with a good few weeks to go yet, I don´t want to be alone on here in May!! [waaah]

Hi Oooggs!! didn´t expect to see you on here! Fingers crossed it´s all going nicely..

flumppootle · 29/03/2007 10:48

Hiya Ooogs

How exciting for you! Hope that everything goes smoothly and that you are cuddling your dts ASAP
Do you know what you are having?

Pesha · 29/03/2007 10:48

I had someone at the school this morning say 'come on hurry up' to me meaning get baby out. Its the same silly cow who i think keeps telling dss dp is living here when he's not yet but I have no proof so just have to smile and carry on. Im due on the 16th and they go back to school on the 17th after easter hols so if ive not had him by then its just gonna be endless 'oh you not had it yet'. And by then I will just tell them to c**k off!!

Had consultant appointment this morning. Saw very good senior mw who was very helpful and is going to ring me later today to arrange a time next week to come round with my notes from previous pgs and talk through my previous 2 labours and things which at the least will be fascinating cos my own recollection is hazy at best, and hopefully should be really useful in helping me prepare for this labour. And she is going to chase up my physio referral And i didnt see the annoying pnd obsessed dr so all in all it was pretty good. Baby is still not remotely engaged though, in fact where he was feeling the head seemed higher up than it was last week! But think thats quite normal for 3rd baby.

flumppootle · 29/03/2007 10:53

The school run is just the pits for those comments Pesha, so know what you mean about dreading the comments after the holidays and I am not even due until a week after they go back

Katy, might be cheating on our race just realised that I should be induced or have a c section which gives me the slight edge

Pesha · 29/03/2007 10:54

Oooogs You weren't meant to see that till after you've had your babies!!

Im sure they will be out today

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 10:57

flump - what do you mean? Are you booked in for an induction or c section, or do you just mean if you go over?

flumppootle · 29/03/2007 11:03

Katy - seeing the consultant tomorrow. Think that they need to deliver before 40 weeks so will be an elective before due date.
Have had very short labours, the last one was about 50 minutes (hospital is 30 mins away) and have had two nasty PPHs. They have said that they will not let me have a spontaneous labour so that I dont deliver at home or in the car which nearly happened last time
I have been trying not to think about any of it in a head in the sand type way.
Forgot when suggesting the race

CaptainDippy · 29/03/2007 11:04

The amount of people i have had saying "have you had the baby yet?" is unbelievable - "Can't be long now ..." - Think they are all expecting it to be any day cos DD2 was 4 weeks early. Nope - this little bubba is staying nicely tucked up inside til AT LEAST 37 weeks, thank you very much!!

How is everyone doing? Still on MN while being induced - big up respect for the oogs! Can't wait to have the honour of getting your "I've had them!!" text - Soooo excited - mobile is permenantly strapped to my side!!

DH at home today, which is nice - apart from he's working on "slow motion" today, which is frustrating ..... Grrr!! Sigh.

CaptainDippy · 29/03/2007 11:05

Awww, flump - is that an elective induction or C-Section - guessing the last two were natural births as they were so quick. [hugs]

nellyhel · 29/03/2007 11:09

Morning all! Echo the school run comments flumpootle and Pesha - most of mine trying to be nice but I'm fed up nonetheless! I am due the last friday of holidays and hope more than anything not to have to waddle along on the Monday (16th)when they go back. Please let me be pushing a pram instead!!

Saw midwife this morning, baby still engaged 2/5 and waiting to go (her words). Aren't we all.

Off to nursery now to collect ds, need to say good bye to our lovely nursery teacher as she is going to another school. Hope I can manage without those hormones kicking in and sobbing everywhere . I think she is quite emotional so might start me off!

maveta · 29/03/2007 11:13

Well my plans have been foiled.. mum is off to the dentist so I can´t go watch tv over there. Bah. How selfish of her. It´s pouring down here so - entertain me people!!!

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 11:19

flump - sorry to hear that. Hopefully this one will be a much better birth experience and you'll have the added benefit of getting your LO a bit early
Our printer is SOOOOO slow! started printing my assignment at about half past - it's 21 (yes 21) pages and I need 2 copies. 50 minutes later...

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 11:20

That 'yes 21' was just in case someone thought I meant to type 200!
