Can't believe all the comments you're all getting, theonly ones I get are from my family...which is getting a bit annoying!

CaptainDippy · 29/03/2007 11:21

Print Damn* it - Print!!

Did that help??

Maveta - I am doing a funny dance for you!!

oooggs · 29/03/2007 11:22

Katy44 · 29/03/2007 11:24

ooggs, good luck, am in work this afternon but will be dying to find out the details - this afernoon would probably be a bit early anyway, wouldn't it?

CaptainDippy · 29/03/2007 11:24

Sending you ooogs!

nuttygirl · 29/03/2007 11:24

at useless f*ing postman. I'm expecting a package today which hasn't come (sent 2 days ago, first class). Also neighbour has just shoved a letter through my door, postie had delivered it to wrong house.

Lusciousladylush · 29/03/2007 11:25

Hi all,

Sorry I don't get to contribute much but my DS loves the 'puter' keyboard, and as soon as he sees me on it - thats it, I have to get off!!

Congrats to mammyjo, and can't believe all these april babies are popping out already! I'm fully cooked today, just the browning off to do (37 wks).... anyone else spending all their time on the loo? I'm in every 15 mins so am hoping that means babies engaging, not just using me as a trampoline!.

Hoping I am going to come a little early but not too early as am having my FIL's 60th birthday at our house on 6th april (Easter weekend)... and with my surname (Honeybun).. can so see an Easter Honeybunny popping out when I become an impromptu water feature at above mentioned party! would be very apt!.

When you have all stopped laughing at my surname... think of my poor DS and soon to be new DS...... need very strong names and hope they grow up to be quite hefty lads, not skinny wimpy ones, or they will get picked on at school I imagine with their surname!.

Mand Honeybun!

nuttygirl · 29/03/2007 11:26

maybe it's those raspberry leaf tablets...cos they stink....

Meant to say good luck Ooogs, can't wait to hear the news!

CaptainDippy · 29/03/2007 11:28

Awww LLL - that's a lovely surname!! My maiden name was Toogood, which could be pretty - was quite glad the sap it tbh!

CaptainDippy · 29/03/2007 11:29

That should read: "...glad to swap it." at the end - don't know what happened there ....

Lusciousladylush · 29/03/2007 11:31

Thanks CD! Toogood is a corker of name, I love it!!!

I appear to mix with people with funny names, until I recently moved my neighours were Mr and Mrs Darling, the bloke in the flat abvove was Mr Heaven, when I bought my houe the solicitor was Mr Beer!, my ex was Mr Jolly. and two of my best mates are Mrs Canter and Mrs Trott! I was tasked with finding mr Gallop, but they let me off when I came up with Honeybun!.

Completely bonkers!

maveta · 29/03/2007 11:33

Thanks Dippy - lovely dance indeed!

siiigh I´m off to do some cleaning...

flumppootle · 29/03/2007 11:36

LOL, cd and LL

babysopiniontakesover · 29/03/2007 11:52

Had two false starts yesterday and spent most of the day doubled up, still I suppose that means things are finally starting? Loads of stabbing pains followed by very mild contractions but not regular. I am convinced its due to the raspberry leaf tablets?

Miss one day on MN and it takes AGES to catch up again.

MAMMYJO - BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!GOOD LUCK TO OOOGGS.

Ange - lol at 3 plusses in urine!

Nutty - lol at 30 packets chipsticks!
Make the most of it being able to sit around, you're next one will be totally different ha ha ha. And I've been trying to work out for ages who cornflake kid turned into thanks for that!!! As for the postman, I am sure that its a leeds thing cos we ALWAYS get nextdoors post - what does he look like ( only joking!).

Pesha - "Im always last to leave a party or a club, I have to stay till the end so i dont miss anything! Actually thats not really true anymore but it used to be when i were younger". that made me giggle, that was me too, oh "those were the days"!!!

Oooggs - good luck if it hasn't happened already! And it made me laugh thinking of you sitting there in your very final minutes before labour on MN lol!!!!!!!!!!!

Lesley - really sorry too about your friend and hope you're ok.

LLL - lol at funny names.

To all those with "fence" problems I would say that if you can go for one with concrete posts cos they are just abour indestructible (Spelling?) esp with all these gale force winds around....

HI EVERYONE ELSE!!!!LABOUR VIBES TO ANYONE WHO WANTS THEM AND STAY IN VIBES TO EVERYONE ELSE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 11:53

bEllieK · 29/03/2007 12:02

well, i haven't done any housework yet, spent 1.5 hours in the bath! tho most of that was shaving my legs, and as for shaving 'the other', that took longer than a beedin' haircut

runnyhabbit · 29/03/2007 12:20

Just come back from docs with ds - turns out he has hand, foot & mouth disease, which would explain being off his food, and generally being under the weather

Think the raspberry leaf tea is kicking in - have had a lot of lower back pain, and more period type pains. Really don't want to get my hopes up (and besides, the house is far too untidy for homebirth )

Eddas · 29/03/2007 12:21

We've just got back from dd's preschool easter bazar. They had lots of cute stuff to do and then an easter hat parade. They had a boys winner and a girls. They announced the girls ' the little girl with the bunny ears' everyone looked around. No response. Then the pre school leader said is that Georgia(my dd), and yes it was!!!! They were meant to be easter eggs!!!!!!! So funny but how about that for a first go eh, a winning hat!!!

The other ones were so good and very professional. dd's took about half an hour!!

Still keep chuckling to myself, bless her she won a book. She had no idea what was going on though and that she'd won.

Eddas · 29/03/2007 12:23

Can't remember who said about a sweep at 39 weeks, really My mw didn't offer me that and I thought you had to haev a favourable cervix(may have the wrong body part if i have) She said they do it later, 41 weeks, in the hope you won't need it. Mine is booked for the 9th April. Am really looking forward to it, i love invasive poking around in my lower parts!!!!!

runnyhabbit · 29/03/2007 12:24

Eddas - thats so sweet just saw the local school Easter parade on way back from the doctors. They are all looked so cute!

Lusciousladylush · 29/03/2007 12:31

that is so sweet. less. I am trying to find lots of local things to take my ds to, as he is normally with his nan, but haven't found anything local yet at all. Hope to find something soon or I can see one of us going round the bend!

How do some of you ladies be full time mums? I take my hat off to you - you must all have the patience of a saint.

oooggs · 29/03/2007 12:37

congrats on the 'hat' eddas

well lunch was plain omellete (sp?) green beans & roast spuds with toffee pud for afters(i had seconds of this!!)

Next stop 3pm for another internel, pessary & monitoring - can't wait

Eddas · 29/03/2007 12:39

Still shuckling to myself

LLL, i couldn't be a full time mum, it would drive me mad. Am actually thinking of working full time with dh doing part time when maternity leave finishes. Not sure how that would work financially, but he would be a better SAHD than my SAHM. And he's a better housewife
