Well I would be already if work server didn't block it!

CaptainDippy · 30/03/2007 08:21

No time to check through or do anything, except to say ......

Ooogs has had her babies!!!!!

Recieved this text from her at 23.32pm last night ....

"The wins have arrived! Thursday 29th March 2007. Erin Grace, 6lb 14oz, 2050hrs & Jack Nathan, 7lb 14oz, 2109hrs. Mummy is very tired!"

Wow!!!

Fantastic stuff - will post more later .....

CaptainDippy · 30/03/2007 08:21

sorry it's taken a while - not good in DipsVille this AM!!

Birdiebump · 30/03/2007 08:38

Thanks for the news CD and hope things ease off in Dipsville this morning. We are not having a good time in Birdieland either!

WOW!!! Thats 15 odd lbs worth in weight there. Bet Ooogs is feeling a lot better for getting them out! Many many congrats to you Ooogs and gorgeous names. My DS1 is a Jack.

Eddas · 30/03/2007 08:50

Congratulatison ooggs, glad to hear it wasn't too long, i'm sure it felt long to you though

Everyone has choosen lovely names so far

Birdiebump · 30/03/2007 08:58

Yay! DS2 has gotten into our first choice primary school!!

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 09:05

Oooggs Congratulations! Good weights for both of them, and lovely names.

See you later
x

ps isn't it time for a new thread

Birdiebump · 30/03/2007 09:20

We have gotten lazy and rely on Ellie & Katy for new threads - although we could try to think of a good title. Give me a minute......

weeonion · 30/03/2007 09:22

congrats oogs - that is one heck of a lot of baby you were carrying. hope all 3 of you are well. xoxoxoxox

bellie - i used to be teen preg coorintaor in NI - loved the job! especially the wranglings with formal / organised religion groups - now there was a battleground! the job would have been much easier if we could have seperated the males / females into 2 lines at around 11yrs old and didnt let them ever meet again til they were 18. job done!

Emmymummy · 30/03/2007 09:33

Oogggs congratulations on the twins - crickey you must have been bloody uncomfortable with all that baby in there! Hope you managed to get some rest last night.

Birdie - yay on the school!

Am at work again today, only today and 2 days next week to go. Am knackered.

Birdiebump · 30/03/2007 09:35

Just remembered - Ooogs was originally my due date buddy! No fair! Also seem to have done myself an injury by carrying DS2 (why???!!) upstairs and now have to take him swimming so I have no brilliant ideas for thread title...

WO - very wise re teenage pregnancies!!

doghouse · 30/03/2007 09:44

Congratulations Oogs!! at combined weights! Lovely names I agree!

I guess I am not the only feeling movements are less and not so definite? Guess there is less room in there to move around? Or should I be worrying? I suppose I do get the 10 movements in a day, it's just they are much fainter now (if that makes sense)?

Pesha · 30/03/2007 09:57

Congratulations to oooogs Cant believe how big they both are! Love the names, ds is Nathan

So who's having babies today then?!?

Octo - have no idea where any of those places are but dp will so he can direct me! Ill prob be coming from shepton way (cos i know how to get there!) so thats not the motorway way is it? have been to bath quite abit before but always been driven by someone else and tend to just sit and enjoy the view!
We were supposed to have someone come to ds' playschool on wed to talk to us about kids starting school but she had sickness and diarrhoea and had been to RUH the day before so had to go off and have tests to see if it was the bug they've got there, apparently.
And know what you mean about different towns looking better on a birth certificate. I feel abit guilty that all 3 of mine are going to have yeovil on theirs!

Birdie - yay for DS getting into first choice school!

And thats all I can remember - sorry.

My morning sickness is yucky Not so much the being sick but feeling pretty yuck all day again and off my food abit, nothing I really want to eat, have just been in the kitchen sniffing all the cereals to try and work out which one i can eat went for alpen! Oh well least I know ive only got couple weeks left.

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 09:59

doghouse - know what you mean about the movements. I remember being the same with ds towards the end, although when this one moves its very full on, and flippin' uncomfortable.

Pesha · 30/03/2007 10:00

Mine does still move alot but they are much smaller movements, most of the time, cos of the lack of room. He keps getting really bad hiccups though and my whole tummy jumps with each one!

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 10:00

and, as if on cue, its just decided to move its bum right the way across my tummy, and jam its foot under my rib. Oooowwwww

doghouse · 30/03/2007 10:01

thanks runnyhabbit. i know it is nothing to worry about really but as you get so close, the thought of something being wrong now is unbearable! mw appt on Tuesday though (due date) so that should put my mind at rest.

very at all the babies out there already ... can't wait to meet our LO now!

sorry about your ms Pesha ... doesn't seem fair at this stage does it?

nellyhel · 30/03/2007 10:02

Congratulations Ooogs! And echo comments re names and weight , you must feel so much lighter now!

doghouse - yes less movements too. When I am busy I sometimes forget altogether when I last felt any, I usually try a really cold drink or else prod a bit until he wakes up!

Having said that, last night the movements wouldn't stop. I think he was trying to burrow his way out down the way, pushing his feet off my ribs like a trampoline. Hugely uncomfortable! Then I had a sore back all evening, right down across my hips. Got a bit concerned it might be the real thing and had a manic tidy up at 11p.m., got packed lunch ready for dd etc. Then went to bed - and had the best night's sleep in ages!! Nothing happening today so maybe I've still a couple of weeks after all. I like to imagine the baby so low down now that,as my sister suggested, I'll just need to sneeze and he'll pop out ... positive thinking, positive thinking... (yes, my sister has no children yet!)

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 30/03/2007 10:02

Morning ladies

HOOOOOORRRAAAAYYYYYY ooggs Well done you - what great weights too - you must be very proud! Thinking of you xoxoxox

Birdie - great news on the school - we are still waiting to hear back - probably not until May - then if don;t get in it goes to appeal Trying not to think too much about it!

Well - last night the contractions were 3 minutes apart for an hour - got a little bit excited but then they went ..... sigh!! Feeling very niggly this morning and a bit sick - I thinkhe could come today - dh not convinced!!!!

Doghouse - if you are worried about movements - go and get monitored - better to be safe and ease you rmind than sit worrying.

CD - hope your day gets better

Smole · 30/03/2007 10:05

Congratulations Ooogs.

It's my last day at work. Seems very strange.

Nothing else to report. Hope everyone else is ok. I'll check back later to see if there's been anymore births
