Morning all

ROLF at all the swindon talk last night! Missed it all!
Am hoping that I can wait and register the baby in Scotland and have at least one that doesn't have a Swindon birth cert.
Stay in vibes for me please
Ocot, I didn't think much of the old hospital here but feel very comfortable in the new one and am quite happy to go back this time, still it wont be the TLC of Chippenham though

OOGGSS- Congratulations on your twins at how much baby you were carrying!!!!!!!!!! Love the names.

Hope that you have a better day CD

Funky pram MIAM - there is nothing nicer than a shiny new pram

Cant remember anything else so have a good everyone, only one more school run until two weeks off - YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GirtWaspbElly · 30/03/2007 11:00

Congrats Oooggs as said previously - thats a whole lot of baby that was in there! Well done girl, am sending you some of my energy as Littlest has shown no real signs of moving yet so can afford to be generous!

CD and Birdie hope life calms down just a tad for you - you ARE supposed to be relaxing and re-grouping at the moment you know!

Oh wo enjoy this time -it'd the last 'free holiday time' you will truly have to yourself for some time!! I know what you mean though.

Right off to carry on pottering around in a waddly-type fashion.

LesleyR · 30/03/2007 11:25

Great news on double delivery Oogs. Lovely names and great weights for twins.

Going to do housework now - didn't do much yesterday and don't want to waste weekend with DH cleaning stuff.

Will check in later to see if there's been any more action.

eca · 30/03/2007 11:30

flumppootle · 30/03/2007 11:50

Is everyone off having babies ????????????????

YvieE · 30/03/2007 11:53

Congrtaulations Ooogs - what beautiful names.

Hi all - have cousin's baby shower tonight, then my sister is throwing me one tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for all the reassurance regarding movements. Katy my AN appts are still every two weeks, I thought that they would be every week but next one is at 38 weeks and then after that on my due date (hopefully i won't need it )

eca · 30/03/2007 11:56

No baby here yet flump!

Yvie - we have a/n appointments every week now.

nuttygirl · 30/03/2007 11:58

Morning

Congratulations Ooogs...love both names (although there's gonna be 2 Erin Grace babies as that's what DH & I have chosen - great minds think alike eh? )

fucking postman has just delivered my parcel...soaking wet, half the wrapping missing. Good job mum had put it in a carrier before wrapping it.

Didn't get much sleep last night, had heartburn for hours and back & hips were v sore. Made DH sleep in other room. He's annoying me at the mo, I know he's trying to help me and wants to be there for me but sometimes I wish he'd sleep in the spare room so I don't feel like I'm keeping him awake (plus I'd have more room in the bed!)

MIABT - like the pram you've chosen - is it a new one? I don't remember seeing it when we went to M&P...we got the Aria one (like the one at the bottom of the link you sent but in a different colour).

YvieE · 30/03/2007 12:01

Hi Eca - thats what i thought it should but i decided not to press it when MW booked next appt for two weeks time.
I'm sure Ellie was also saying that she didn't have another an appt until her LO made an appearance so maybe its different healthcare trusts????

nuttygirl · 30/03/2007 12:07

Yvie - I only get a/n appointments every 2 weeks so I think it depends on where you live & also a bit on how busy the mw's are. I had to book mine ages ago so that they didn't get booked up.

flumppootle · 30/03/2007 12:09

Yvie, here it depends on whether or not its your first pg and how high risk the pg is. Appointments are every two weeks for me at the moment as well.

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 30/03/2007 12:09

eca - mine used to be every week from 37 weeks but she has said if all is well then every 2 weeks - but you can ring and pop into the maternity unit if you need to. My next one is next weds at 38+3.

Must go have lunch - catch up tonight xoxoxo

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 30/03/2007 12:10

I'm not going to be eating until then

Bramshott · 30/03/2007 12:14

Hi all. Haven't caught up with everything - are Mammyjo and Ooogs the only ones with arrivals Wed or yesterday? Love the name Ffion Mmammyjo, and sounds like you had a quick one too!

Oogs - blimey, what a woman! Both of your two were bigger than my one! Total respect and awe!! At the moment it's looking like Orla's second name may be Erin.

Juyst a quicky as Orla is feeding and I'm typing 1-handed. Will try to grt back on later.

Lusciousladylush · 30/03/2007 12:14

Hi all,

Congrats to Oggs in complete over how big though babies were - amazing!! WELL DONE!. If my LO is the size of just one of those I'll be a happy mummy!!!

It really does vary from county to county. I had my first in Kent... Medway, and appts went to weekly from 37 weeks... but here in Bexley (SE London / Kent borders) its every 2 weeks now until my 41 week overdue appt... then who knows!.

bEllieK · 30/03/2007 12:14

hi, i'm here, been asleep all morning

love oogggs names!

Fantastic news ooogs and welcome to the world wee ones!

Well I walked the kids to school hopefully for the last time this morning with a baby inside - after Easter Holidays it will be in my arms / stroller. I certainly hope so as I don't think I could bare facing all the Mothers who have been going on for the last few weeks - 'it must be soon'!!!

Stil at work which is not too bad - feel I might run around even more if I was at home. It is a little tricky dealing with clients when a braxton hicks is going on or the baby kicks me rather too hard! I think I make them nervous that I might have the baby right then and there

Lusciousladylush · 30/03/2007 12:16

Opps thought I'd make a few of you smile as I've just bent over (slowly) and split my stretchy maternity trousers..thank god I gave up work last week..that could have been nasty for my colleagues!... Can I attribute this to baby descending into pelvis region... (engaging) or does extra weight round your arse not really qualify??? bum.. literally!!!
xxx

bEllieK · 30/03/2007 12:17

yes Bramshott, no more since mammyjo until oogggs news today x

I've been sending emails with anything important to make sure no-one misses anything!

eca · 30/03/2007 12:19

erm... maybe mine are every week coz i'm booked for a homebirth.

nutty - had a very similar night here. Woke with really bad heartburn, sat bolt upright and nearly threw up all over the duvet. Hips and legs really sore as well.

octo - have a nice afternoon. hope that there's some action for you soon! Must be driving you mad. just realized that you're due the day after me!

eca · 30/03/2007 12:21

Hi Bramsott! Hope you're doing well. Nice to see you

LesleyR · 30/03/2007 12:30

My neighbours have just been treated to the sight of me waddling barefoot in my pyjamas round the outside of the building! Little boy getting out of car said "Look at that lady mummy".

Was doing housework in pjs when doorbell went. It was some lib dem chap wanting to drop leaflets in the postboxes. I explained to him I live on floor below and am v pg and in pyjamas but he very politely asked me to let him in. Found dressing gown and went upstairs and let the guy in. I don't have keys to the door upstairs so I was leaving it open while I checked my postbox. Stupid man then pulled it shut! The only way back to my flat was round the building barefoot to use the door I mercifully do have keys for.

Must have looked funny but my neighbours must think I'm sooo lazy. In pjs at midday!

Guess who I won't be voting for!

bEllieK · 30/03/2007 12:33

no eca, that's how they do it in East Anglia, jst that i'm not on my first! with the first it's every week towards the end, with the second it's only every 2, and mine has decided my 40wk appt isn't required!!

OP posts:
bEllieK · 30/03/2007 12:43

ok, what do we think to this as a title...........

Mammyjo and Oooggs have got their babies, while Octo just has an irritable pussy!
