RANT ALERT
Am so bloody fed up and angry with dh.

Few wks ago, his mobile was stolen. Its a work one, so no real hassle, but he's had to use an old handset til the new one comes through. Except the battery in this old one is crap, and keep switching itself off. Handy. Anyway, I dug out a PAYG we had at home, which we know works, so I can ring him if anything happens (bearing in mind he's in Portsmouth this week, and I'm due 2 weeks today)

Tried ringing a couple of times this afternoon, but went straight to voicemail. No problem, I thought, nothing important to tell him, but did start to wonder what would I do if it was an emergency?
When he finally called (by this time, I was quite and pissed off) he told me that his PAYG was in his van, so he wouldn't have heard it anyway! WTF?! Completely lost it with him Ended up me saying that if lo does arrive this week, it will be his fault if he misses it, no-one elses, so he better get his act together (and quite a few swear words were added in too)

Am I being unreasonable?

RH, not unreasonable at all... to your DH. If i'd tried to ring mine and got his voicemail i'd have pretended i was having a contraction.....

L is 6/4 3 days early. Would suit me; although it is Good Friday and staff might be sparse at hospital.

The thought of having a "false alarm" did enter my head I've got the phone number of the bloke he's working with, and I know that if I rang him, instead of dh, there would be major panic.
