@Gemaxo that's when mine is - 8am! So excited but nervous too!

Had the early scan today and saw the heartbeat! So exciting. Thanks for encouraging me to get one done. Measuring exactly right according to my dates at 8wks and 2days.

So glad it went well Robin! Mine was lovely today also, I'm measuring one day behind at 8 + 1 but she said everything was perfect and it's because I have a tilted uterus!

Has anyone found that part of their lower stomach is sensitive? I've got a bit of a bump and it's crazy at nearly 9 weeks but if someone touches the right side of it it doesn't hurt but sort of twitches the left side is fine.

When I touch it though it's absolutely fine! No problems whatsoever only when someone else touches 🙈 It's not all the time even just most of the time

whoknows I also have minimal symptoms. Sore boobs since the start, occasional kind of nausea but not even so much to call it that, few more spots that usual but again not masses. Aside from that nothing. I'm trying to let it not freak me out and think maybe we are the lucky few that miss it.
My scan appointment came through 14 July, seems so far away. Really can't think positively about it until I see its all there and okay...also worries about mmc but again trying to not focus on that!!!!
Really bad hayfever today and really don't know if I can take anything, midwife said they prefer you not to so going by that rule of course. Hoping it's just been today. Really allergic to friends dog as well (which sucks because I love dogs) and they love so far away we usually go and stay the night but I think we'll have to get a hotel next time hmmmm

victoriaaaa the twitchy thing sounds funny maybe just because it's someone else touching it hehe
Oh and about meant to say that friend lives far away not loves far away!

Ok I have a daft question. Does anyone know if they do a pregnancy test on the urine sample you give at your booking appointment? I remember feeling like this last time I was pregnant too. Starting to get paranoid that maybe I wasn't actually pregnant and I was going to get to the scan and there would be nothing there. I know it's a bit daft and I could just do another test myself. (Plus I've not had a period for 10 weeks and I've got a visible bump already!) I just can't help thinking they surely would check you were actually pregnant before sending you for a scan...

If none of that makes sense please ignore me. I'm dog-tired at the moment so probably a little delirious

@stylishduck - don't remember being tested for pregnancy - just sugars etc.... and then a blood test for everything else

@StylishDuck I asked this at my booking in appointment and they said no they don't check for pregnancy

I also wondered about if they actually tested for pregnancy at your booking as well. I guess it's unlikely but surely there are a few people who have slipped through and are not actually pregnant...but prob very unlikely at 8 weeks plus. Wish they did do one though!!!!

When I phoned to book the appointment they asked me to confirm I'd had a positive pregnancy test. I wondered why on earth they thought I'd be phoning if I hadn't but then thought maybe they actually do get people assuming they're pregnant when their period is late without actually doing a test...

I just think for the cost of a pregnancy test versus the cost of a scan appointment that's not actually necessary they would just do it to confirm first.

Pickled my scan is a week tomorrow! Can't come quick enough!!

I've been absent as have been away for a few weeks. We had a scan at 6 weeks and they could only see the yolk sac but we had an rescan today and measuring a week ahead so 10 weeks. Was absolutely amazing to see it wiggling around. How do I join the fb group now that I am letting myself believe it's true a little more?

I'm sure I read somewhere that hcg maybe starts to dwindle at around 12 weeks. But don't quote me, just didn't want anyone to get a scare if they take a test. Think I'm gonna get harmony/NIPT done next week, is anyone else doing it? My 12 week scan is 12th July so I'll be almost 13 weeks

@Roseandbee I'm having the SAFE test done this week. I'll be 10+4..... it's the same as the Harmony test, but bloods are analysed in the UK rather than being sent away to America.

@vicotriaaaaa - last pregnancy I craved those - until they made me sick - oddly went off them then lol

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I'm off sweets. And that's a really big deal as I would eat at at least 2 chocolate bars a day when not pregnant. I was the same in pregnancy with DS so I wonder if I'm having another boy.

I hope it doesn't get too quiet on here 😭 I don't have Facebook because ExP family are mental rich people who are paranoid about their security and they got huffy with me when ExP said I post pics of DS on FB and it just isn't worth the fight so I miss out ☹️

@millsbynight I'm off sweet things too and that is unheard of for me! There's an open family sized bar of dairy milk in the cupboard that I haven't touched in 9 weeks!
All I'm eating is cereal, cereal, and More cereal.

I know it's a private Fb group but I'm too paranoid to go on there until more people know!

We did tell family this weekend though, I'm 9 weeks and had a great scan at 8 weeks. I have a really close knit extended family and it just felt right to tell them in person (we only see some of them about once a year as they live abroad). It feels so real now!!

@ndo4000 I'm doing IONA which is the same lab as the SAFE test. I'm doing it Manchester where the lab is. Not booked it yet but I'll be around 10+4 aswell, are you doing the scan at the same time or just the bloods? And will you opt to find out the sex?

I'm not a big FB user, also worried about somehow messing up with the privacy thing.

My main cravings are fruit and I like think cold, so I have a fridge full of fruit.

We're having the panorama test
Think it's the same as the harmony but you can have it from 9 weeks not 10
We are going away next week and I really wanted to do the test before we went so the results would be back when we come home and around the time of our 12 week booking in visit/scan

That way fingers crossed we'll get the all clear and can happily tell everyone
Although I have told my mum, siblings and two best friends
DH has only told his mum and wants to wait

I'd love to find out sex but DH doesn't so I guess we won't 😒

I'm craving ice lollies, just ordered a big shop to be delivered tomorrow and I've bought 6 boxes of different types! Can't wait for them to be delivered!
I'm on fb but don't go on it very much so doubt I'll join the group on there.
