What's the skull theory Gemexo?

The shape of the skull

If the skull is more rounded and a rounded jawline they say that means girl

If the skull and jawline is more squared that indicAtes boy

Victoria your scan pic looks like your baby's jaw line is very squared so I'd defiantly say boy

12+6 and feeling worse sickness wise, I was hoping it would ease off. Any one else still feel awful at this point? I'm not actually sick but heaving lots, feel sick most of the day especially when hungry or tired. Not told work yet as still not had scan as they are busy, I feel quite depressed at work sitting there willing myself through the day and long commute, weeks of this now. Hoping scan will cheer me up

Wapphighwood. My morning sickness/feeling grotty feeling was at its worst in week 12. Magically all got better literally overnight in week 13. Hold the faith!

I can never tell, they all look the same to me.

Even more convinced it's a girl now 6 weeks till I find out!

I've booked gender reveal on August 12th so we shall see if you're prediction is right @Gemaxo

That's a tough one! Can't see the Nub and the skull looks rounded but square jaw, I'm thinking boy possibly (but could as easily be girl!!)

Haha that's what I thought when trying to follow the skull and nub theories. Our initial thoughts were def boy, now we are thinking possibly girl! Well only a few days til Saturday before we know. Either will be amazing :) x

Im 36 and with the first. Big surprise as I have PCOS, and didn't use contraception for 3 years - meaning I was sure I will have to have medical treatment. :) Oh well - those holidays off work!
My due date 13 Jan 2018. Im extremely lost, and glad to have found a chat.
Re nausea most of ladies mentioned - its a constant. Lost 5kg already. Just can't think of food. Only cold fruit and certain ice lollies help.
Also - as I didn't know that Im pregnant - I used so much coffee, cola and pain medication in the first 6 wks (as was working on the big project at work - to the point that was sent to hospital with pain. There I have learned of the pregnancy) - so scared to have harmed baby. Hence not feeling like I can attach to it. No idea what to do with the feeling. I thought I would be all warm inside and happy.
Any thoughts ?

Lina I wouldn't worry (an easy thing to say I know) . Lots of people unknowingly do that, some much further along than you.
Only a doctor or midwife can confirm all is okay but I hope your mind settles soon.

lina sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment. We all feel different at the beginning I think. I'm 12 weeks and still can't get excited or think ahead because I know things can change also i can't quite believe it until I have the scan!!! Lots of people don't know about things until later I went out and ate all the wrong things and drank a lot of cocktails the weekend before I found out I was pregnant I'm sure loads of others have and it will all be fine. Maybe your pain through working hard was your bodies way of telling you that you were pregnant!!!

Evening all...
Is anyone having trouble sleeping?? I just can't get to sleep at all for what seems like an eternity. Looked at the clock every hour till about 3am. Then when I do finally sleep I'm having very intense, detailed, weird dreams! Last night I was trapped in the Scottish highlands!!!! Hoping this is a phase as tiredness makes my sickness worse!

Freaking out a bit!

Cutting some romaine lettuce and some water from inside the bag splat in my eye! Can you get listeria from this?!

@weasledee I've been getting to sleep quickly but waking up a fair bit and also having intense random dreams! Who knows where they will take me tonight

Victoria - you'll be fine. Don't let little things like that worry you. Sausages are fine, lettuce water is fine.

I'm 14weeks and keep getting a really strange vibration around my pubic bone, just like my phone is going off... anyone else getting similar? I'm thinking it could be a nerve or something.... just really strange
