Flossy I did baby bond too. On there leaflet it says 3-5 working days but in person they told my 7 working days, but sometimes earlier so who knows. Can I ask how long your scan was before they took your bloods and did they measure the babies heart rate? My scan was less than 5 minute so I was a bit miffed as it said it'd be 30 min online, it felt very rushed

@flossyfloss I was told 5-7 days and it's only been 4! Fingers crossed your come early too!

@Roseandbee no, I didn't opt to find out the sex. Might do at the 20 week scan, but it all felt a bit early knowing everything!

Is anyone with other young children struggling? I'm so exhausted at night and DS is always on the move. Miss my last pregnancy and being able to relax after work!

I am waiting and the breastfeeding has got so tiring. My house is a tip!

I no the feeling of being exhausted me and my dd had a 2 hour sleep after school!! Still tired now. House looks like a bombs gone off. Tea bath and bed for me xxx

Rose - it said 30 mins on mine but the actual scan was more like 7 mins ish, she showed the heart beating and turned it red and blue to show the blood flow through it or something but didn't say what the heart rate was. They said 7 working days to me but I really hope it's sooner so we're not waiting all weekend I'm just a terrible worrier that the longer it takes the more I imagine getting a negative result

I'm getting a tightening feeling over my whole stomach and abdomen it's happened a few times today. It's not painful just tight, should I be worried? I had Braxton hicks during last pregnancy but I can't remember getting them this early, I'm only 11+3. Has anyone else had experience of this?

Victoriaaaaaaaa I'm currently alternating between jumbo salted peanuts and tangfastics. DH is looking at me with increasing disgust

When is the earliest that people have felt baby move? I swear I've been getting flutterings today. I'm 12+6 so it must be too early but it is my 2nd and I know you tend to feel it earlier 2nd time round.

Maybebaby I hope someone else comes along to reassure you. I've been getting random muscle twinges for a few days but all over rather than just my belly. Feels more like I've pulled something. Perhaps you could give your midwife a ring if you're concerned? I'm sure it's nothing but I know how these things can play on your mind.

yay to all the amazing scan pictures I'm so jealous I still have over two weeks to wait until mine. Tempted to go book and early scan but part of me is just telling me to hold back and wait!
Terrible lower back ache/ twinge today just on the right side low down like next to tailbone and into butt cheek. not sure if it is a trapped nerve or something or maybe pain from back of pelvis. Went on leisurely walk with my brother this eve to catch up and by the end it was really pulling. Now lying in bed and it still hurts. No pain near the baby zone so not concerned it is that. Wonder if it is to do with ligaments loosening read something about that somewhere. Anyone else get this?

My craving is spaghetti especially bolognese but just mainly spaghetti haha

Thanks Stylish. Tightness has eased off but I've got a bit of an upset stomach this morning so maybe it was something to do with that.

Missy I've had that sensation too. I think aound week 8 I got the tail bone pain and quite bad lower back pain. Not had it since and I think it was to do with ligaments stretching. Hope you feel better soon.

Missy - I get a pain like that- I think it's sciatica- you can self refer to maternity physio in my area which I am going to do.

Urgh maybebaby, I can relate to the upset stomach! I've gone from constipated (tmi) right to the other end of the scale now! And throw in being constantly sick, I'm a mess!

What's everyone having for tea tonight? Can't decide what to have!

DH is doing a fry up tonight. Been looking forward to it all day

We have no food in and we're both at work. Pasta with whatever dh can find probably!

I've just got pie and chips for my dinner can't stomach it. Been craving a pie all week 😢

Nightmare! I don't think I could sit that long without being sick!!!

weasle there's literally no let up is there, I'm exactly the same as you gone from one extreme to the other... I think my bowels hate me! 😂

Oh maybebaby I know. Don't know which hates me more, the bowels or the stomach! :) just braved a shower which now means I'm lying on the bed for an hour to get over it! Makes the sickness bad, eating my emergency pringles I keep by the bed!

Haven't been keeping up well, falling asleep by 8.30 every night!

Got my booking in on 12th July and my scan on 17th, at exactly 12 weeks. Still not sure when we're going to tell family but I've told a select couple of people at work because I keep nearly falling asleep at my desk!

This one will be due on DH's brothers birthday, or thereabouts. He died in January this year, so it's going to be a bit raw when we tell the ILs.

Oh, and we're having Chinese for tea. Chicken and sweet corn soup and chilli & salt chicken wings. Then sleep 😁😴

Is anyone else just eating crap? I know I should eat better for the baby but I'm currently having a hot chocolate and a caramel shortbread in Caffè Nero! Must do better!!
