Well I'm even more confused than before. It like kind of fizzed. Not enough for me to say definitely a boy but not that nothing happened for me to say a girl.

I yelled out to DH if he wanted to check if my wee was fizzing, his reply "what the fuck? Hard pass!" 😂

I'm swaying towards girl this time. I would like a boy because of DS and think as they get older they'd play together more if same sex. But I've always really wanted a girl!

mills that made me laugh! Your dh's reaction, just brilliant! 😂 I would say your result sounds like a girl it's got to really fizz up for a boy result, there's videos on YouTube and you can see it bubbles right up to top of glass.

Random question of the day - have anyone's boobs stopped hurting or hurting a lot less now?

We aren't finding out the sex. As for gender: that will take a least a few years before you can tell that one!

@Iamchanging yes - i go through that sometimes. My boobs have never really hurt it's mainly been my nipples! Some days they are a lot more sensitive than others.

Gender test was what it was called on the internet, wasnt really thinking of it in the broader concept as it was just for fun. Non pc moment oopsie! 😂

Yep my boobs have pretty much stopped hurting now. Which is great as they were really sore. Other symptoms are coming and going, Friday/Saturday I was very sick. Saturday I could barely move I felt so ill. But yesterday and today I'm feeling fine so I'm hoping that's the worst of it over now.

Morning everyone, just checking in after spending the last week at Glastonbury. Had a bit of a scare when I fainted at the train station when queueing in the very hot weather. All was fine after some shade and lots of water and rehydration sachets. Then a few days later I stupidly did morning yoga without telling instructor I was preggers (didn't want to lose my mat and space!) so I spent a few hours after that fretting as well. It was pretty gentle yoga though.

Happy to be back home now, 9w3d. My only symptoms the last week has been sore nipples. Next milestone is booking appt early July, and then 12w scan in 3 weeks time. Never known time to go so slowly!! Hope everyone else is keeping well.

maybebaby2, that's okay. People often mess it up, as a lot of people and places use the wrong term. Things like 'gender scan', 'gender reveal party', 'gender cakes' and that kind of thing.
Wish more people would know the difference!

I've got my 12 week scan this afternoon! Currently drinking a huge bottle of water on the way to the hospital, hoping the appointment doesn't run late and I'm sitting there desperate to pee for ages!

Feeling pretty anxious. I'll be glad when it's done and (hopefully) everything is ok.

I think sometimes the issue is the word sex has two meanings, Slice of sex cake anyone?
Also I imagine it's easier to rank in google for gender than it is sex lol🙈

Had 10 week scan which is included in the NIPT test, I've thought girl and when hubby saw the baby move on the scan he said he thought that's def a girl, so we shall see! As should be getting my results either this week or early next week.
Baby looked great on the scan, lots of movement and is measuring exactly in line with my dates (I was worried because I was over a week behind on a 6 week scan I had to rule out ectopic)

@Iamchangingboobs my boobs stopped hurting weeks ago but they're gigantic and veiny. My nipples are really sensitive though and hurt to touch.

Had the scan, all good. Slightly adjusted EDD of 3rd Jan now (instead of 8th Jan). Baby is a little wriggler though so I need to go back for the blood test for Down's syndrome in a few weeks. Just so pleased that everything was in the right place and there was a lovely strong heartbeat

supper glad you're ok after fainting Wish I had been at Glastonbury, although I might have been a bit worried of the crowds. We saw guns n roses the other week and that was 80 thousand people, all trying to get home from the same tube station which was a bit scary. It took 2 hours to shuffle walk from the olympic stadium to the station when it should only take 15 mins! I bet Glastonbury can add at least another 40 thousand on that number!

@Maybebaby2 can it be done with baking powder or does it have to be bicarbonate? Xxx

Pretty sure it needs to be bicarbonate of soda ruth everything I've seen has used bicarbonate. Or you could try both an tell us if the results were different?! xx

Only asked @Maybebaby2 as on YouTube I can only find American videos and they are saying baking soda. Is that the same as bicarbonate? This is prob just me being very very very thick lol xxx

Tetanus ran out Feb in this year. I know you get the tetanus jab in your third trimester but can you have it in the first nearly second?

Maybebaby2 Thank you, yes I'm quite recovered. I was quite close to the front of the queue when I fainted, so after I recovered the railway staff put me in a free taxi to the festival

I saw SO many pregnant women at Glasto. And of course, they were only the ones with visible bumps!

Had my scan today! Measuring 11+6 which I'm pretty happy with! Was wriggling like a champ and New due date of 9th Jan! Look at this little face and tummy!

I'm not finding out. I didn't with DD and it was lovely having DH be the one who told me she was a girl. Even though he could hardly talk through the tears
