Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Glad you're free from the tooth Carlotta!

Aww that's lovely news Tootsy, so pleased for you!

Good news Donna, hope the next couple of weeks go quickly for you.

Lapin Shock .. that sounds amazing!

leighdinglady · 02/05/2017 10:48

My suit trousers are too tight! Bloating (or just fat from too many carbs) do I;

A - Buy a normal suit
B - style it out with long tops in the hope that no one sees my knickers
C - buy maternity work wear

LapinR0se · 02/05/2017 10:50

I am doing long tops and either belly band or a hair band through the button

BirdBrain85 · 02/05/2017 11:04

Woohoo Tootsy!! So pleased for you!

I'm living in leggings. Have felt very sick this morning, blaming it on the cup of tea I drank. I've really gone off tea but it's like a culture here in our office. I've had an apple to stave it off a bit. My scales say I've only put on 2lbs so far but it feels like a lot more Hmm

Brens13 · 02/05/2017 11:06

Haha I've put on 3 pounds already too, and totally know how, I haven't stopped eating. Hoping to try not to give in so much this week.

I'm 6+2 today as well Lapin. Are you having a private early scan? I can't decide!

isitwinetimeyet16 · 02/05/2017 11:13

Came to see my consultant this morning and they've sent me for another early scan. Am so nervous - please send good thoughts! X

leighdinglady · 02/05/2017 11:15

Good tips lapin

MontyPants · 02/05/2017 11:17

Welcome Southy and Jem

So glad to hear that it's good news Tootsy 😊 x

I hope the tooth extraction wasn't as traumatic as you thought Carlotta? It should heal really quickly now x

BirdBrain85 · 02/05/2017 11:18

Good luck Isit hope all is well xx

I feel rough. Keep heaving in the toilets Sad so regretting that cup of tea. I think I'll be okay once 12pm comes around and I can have my sandwich.

glastogal · 02/05/2017 11:19

Congrats @TootsyBella84 ♥️♥️ what a fabulous scan pic!! I cried too 😁

glastogal · 02/05/2017 11:20

glastogal · 02/05/2017 11:21

I keep hitting send instead of return 🙈

Currently at the gym on an exercise bike but taking it pretty easy.. still nice and sweaty though 👍

BirdBrain85 · 02/05/2017 11:22

Jem Congrats and welcome Smile

LapinR0se · 02/05/2017 11:42

Yes I had a frozen embryo transfer a clinic protocol is an early scan to check viability of the pregnancy.
So I'm being scanned at 2pm tomorrow and I'm very nervous!

Brens13 · 02/05/2017 11:48

Ah, sorry if I missed that Lapin. Fingers crossed everything goes well for you tomorrow.

LapinR0se · 02/05/2017 12:16

Thank youuuuu

Jem01 · 02/05/2017 12:42

Thank you montypants glastogal and birdbrain85. Will be 18 months exactly between this baby and ds. Same as my brother and I and we're super close, so yes super excited!Grin

Good luck for scan today Lapin

Peachi82 · 02/05/2017 13:52

Good news, the surgery told me that I can come round tomorrow at 8 to get a same day appointment instead of trying it over the phone.
Hope I get advised regarding the thyroxine and my work-issues (strong magnets, radiation, chemicals - for a bit I can pretend that the instruments are fully booked and I can plan experiments without chemicals that can damage the foetus, but surely not for the next 2 months...).

Carlotta82248 · 02/05/2017 13:54

@MontyPants it was alright actually, came home and fell asleep (story of my life recently) and woke up in pain but have taken some paracetamol and it feels better than it has in days!

Most looking forward to cleaning my flat, my standards have definitely slipped with feeling so crap, it's making me twitch!

Carlotta82248 · 02/05/2017 13:58

Speaking of flats? Has anyone experience of a baby in a small space? We rent an average size 2 bed flat and I'm worried about all of the extra stuff! We've moved a lot over the years (apart and together, long story) and would prefer to stay put x

Peachi82 · 02/05/2017 14:08

Flats: I think everything is possible... My sister had her first child in a very large 1 bed flat (VERY LARGE though and with attic and basement storage) and I have friends living with 2 kids in one room and they coped. They moved for the third one though.

I'm hoping to exchange and complete on our house in July, but if this falls through, we will have to stay put in the 2 bed house we're currently renting. It will be a tight squeeze, but I'm sure we would be able to manage.

LapinR0se · 02/05/2017 14:12

It will be fine in a flat. When they are little they really don't need much. Once they are a bit older then it's good to be able to get outside and let off some steam so a shared garden or local park is great.

isitwinetimeyet16 · 02/05/2017 14:29

Just had scan and no heartbeat. Best of luck to all of the rest of you ladies x

glastogal · 02/05/2017 14:34

Oh wine.. I'm so sorry. I hope you are being looked after well. Lots of love xx

runthemileyourein · 02/05/2017 14:46
