Lovely picture @Topsyloulou Smile

butterybollocks · 02/05/2017 13:00

Congratulations foggymist and topsy Smile

AGnu I had a similar thing happen. Friends text us to say labour was established and they were in hospital. 3 DAYS LATER we'd heard nothing. They'd just forgotten to text us! Was so worrying tho, and I can imagine pregnancy hormones would seriously add to that worry.

Haz yes we'll find out this time as I need to feel as organised as possible. Don't mind which it is tho Smile

MrsGB2225 · 02/05/2017 13:06

Great picture topsy and congratulations foggy, it's such a relief to get the all clear at the 12 week scan. My scans the 12th, seems like ages away!

NikaKaKa · 02/05/2017 15:42

I had a scan last week at EPU as I had a fall and fractured my little toe.....the pain of my toe was so worth seeing the baby!

I was 8+4 at the time and the sonographer said I was measuring between 8 and 9 weeks so looks to be on track. I was secretly hoping that I was further along

Currently 9+5 and the nausea is getting worse! I literally feel like I have pasta stuck in my throat and chest....hoping it goes soon!

Foggymist · 02/05/2017 15:56

AGnu yeah it was crazy, she even said my hated line of "I'm all for breastfeeding but...", said it can cause miscarriage, that it'll be so difficult to wean him, and that I must make sure and prioritise feeding the newborn rather than him if I choose to tandem feed, the baby is always most important to feed. No shit Sherlock!! She also said I should make sure my son eats more food and has less milkies, I said he's 16kg he eats everything and has milkies on top of that, it's not an either/or situation.

Hope everyone else is doing well :)

Hazandduck · 02/05/2017 16:51

Nik I had nightmares all last night to do with my throat, makes me feel gaggy just recalling them, one my OH was trying to throttle me (nice, woke him up crying and angry lol) and one I had a plastic thin tag like you get in clothes stuck in my throat! Woke up gagging, took me about 2 hours of nibbling ginger biscuits and sipping water to get back to sleep and ease the nausea! Such a strange sensation. Hope it passes soon for you x

DuRezidal · 02/05/2017 17:27

Thanks for all the congratulations for the foal. He is a KWPN colt and is simply gorgeous! Just 4 more for me to foal down this year of my own.

So I had my scan today and they moved me forwards to 12w 3d so my new due date is 11th November.

Here is my scan...

Glad the scan went well for you too Foggy.

butterybollocks · 02/05/2017 18:33

Ah lovely pic durezidal, congrats. Really lovely seeing all these scan pics and it's also really reassuring somehow. I've still got two weeks to wait!

I had a really weird dream about dog poo last night Confused

Zampa · 02/05/2017 19:48

Lovely pictures! I can't wait to see more!

I'm 10+1 today and my tummy has popped out. I look obviously pregnant and have 10 days until my scan ... Baggy tops are in my future.

GingerHanna · 02/05/2017 20:06

Congrats Rez and such a lovely picture.

Hazandduck · 02/05/2017 21:08

What a lovely scan durez! Hope you get some well deserved rest now tonight :) x

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 02/05/2017 21:24

Lovely scans DuRez and Topsy. I have no idea how I'm going to manage to wait until next Friday for mine! I'm really struggling not to tell colleagues. I'm supposed to drive to somewhere near Durham from Cheshire on Tuesday next week and seeing as I can barely make the sub 5 mile journey to work I'm finding that thought a bit stressful.

I got my maternity exemption card in the post today and now almost wish I was properly ill so I would have an excuse to be off work and to use it!

butterybollocks · 03/05/2017 08:29

Nicecuppa I'm supposed to be doing a 2.5 hour journey late at night after an evening meeting next week. I know how tired I'll be so have had to ask my boss for special permission to book a hotel instead. She knows so she's fine about it but I think all my other colleagues think I'm just being really lazy!

MrsGB2225 · 03/05/2017 16:13

Congratulations DuRez, a lovely scan photo!

TeaAndPjs · 03/05/2017 19:57

I'm getting nervous, I'm getting my 3rd scan Tomor to conform there has been growth etc! Trying to stay positive but expecting bad news tbh! Need to try stay calm

DuRezidal · 03/05/2017 20:40

I went to the gym tonight for the first time in weeks! I have just felt too exhausted at the end of the day so couldn't face going. But today I have taught 3 clients, ridden 6 horses and still felt as though I could go to the gym.

Maybe the exhaustion is over Wink

Zampa · 03/05/2017 21:37

Good luck Tea. Hope it goes well.

Topsyloulou · 03/05/2017 21:42

Wow, very impressive DuRez. I wish I had even a tenth of your energy. I'm still very much in the exhausted phase. 3 late nights in a row didn't help matters either.

My mum has an op on her foot tomorrow so is moving in with us for 2 weeks as she will be bed bound & lives alone. I love her to bits & would do anything for her but it's going to be pretty stressful, particularly in the mornings. I'll need to get her breakfast, make her lunch & leave it by her bed, get a flask of hot water & a jug of cold water, help her wash & dress etc on top of getting DS & I ready all before 7. DS loves granny & isn't going to understand that she can't play & he can't jump on the bed. Thankfully DP is at home for a couple of nights next week so can help me out.

Hazandduck · 03/05/2017 22:25

Good luck for tomorrow tea I really hope it is good news for you xx

AGnu · 03/05/2017 23:14

Good luck Tea! Fx it's good news!

Du that's amazing. Today, I told my DC silly stories about why I couldn't get them up straight away I just wanted to stay in bed & they found me insisting I was in the garden cleaning out the unicorn & feeding it glitter hilarious. Eventually I stood up long enough to get their breakfast. Then they watched iPlayer while I dozed on the sofa. I got their lunch late & they went to their room to play with Duplo while I watched neighbours & fell asleep again. DH cooked dinner, put the DC to bed & is now finishing off making cookies for my friend who's just had a baby. I'm sitting of the sofa sipping chocolate milkshake because it's the only thing containing calcium I can stand. I'm also fantasising about how much I'd love to have horses while willfully ignoring the fact that I struggle to take care of my DC & myself atm, don't actually know that much about horses & could've died when I fell off during a trekking holiday...! My days aren't overly productive at the moment! Blush

Topsy that sounds really stressful & exhausting for you. Fx she heals quickly & is a good patient!

Good luck for today Tea, I really hope it's good news.

DuRez im massively impressed! Your job sounds hard work, but amazing. Do you have to go on maternity leave early because it's so active or are you ok to ride until the end?

Agnu sorry to hear you are still exhausted, sounds like you've got a good husband and well behaved kiddies though.

topsy sounds like a full on morning for you! Hopefully your mum will repay the favour when the babies born Smile

I'm definitely feeling better now, but I've gotten into the habit of eating all the time when I really don't need to now.

DuRezidal · 04/05/2017 07:24

It's the first time I have felt up to going, and actually woke up at 6am and my eyes could open.

It looks like I'm through that absolutely exhausted and too tired to move stage.
