Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Congrats to those who've just joined!

zaber I'm a SAHM now (well I do a tiny bit of self-employed work but only a few hours a week) but when I was pregnant with DD and needed early scan I told my manager. I figured if all went well I'd be telling him at some point, and if I miscarried I would want to take a few days off, so either way for me honesty was the best policy. Maybe email her and say you need a quick work in private? Or even just email her about the scan.

MegsMog · 30/03/2017 09:36

chamonix I'm taking the pregnacare max ones.

Symptom wise I feel tired and a bit queasy, and boobs feel slightly sore. So far so manageable though.

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 09:45

Thank you NaturWilde and Chamonix!! Grin

Aw, Zabe so sorry you're going through this. The work thing is a tough call. I personally think it totally depends on your relationship with your boss. My (perhaps pessimistic and negative) logic at this stage is to only tell people who you'd be happy to tell/would want support from if anything did go wrong. I'm very lucky in that I'm actually friends with my "boss" so have told her. Remember you're not obliged to give work a reason for having an appointment- could you just say you have a hospital appointment and leave it at that- people tend not to ask nosy questions about your health I find! What does your DH think you should do?

In terms of symptoms - is anyone really struggling to sleep?!

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 09:48

Ps- I'm also taking pregnacare max

Zaberwocky · 30/03/2017 09:54

Congratulations Lindor Grin

Thank you all! Typically my bloody email account isn't working 😬 I spoke to my line managers line manager, who seemed to take the view 'this is about vaginas. Please can you talk to your lady boss'.

I really am 99% sure things are fine, and I'm too struggling to sleep. Is anyone else finding they're having trouble sleeping on their side?

Zaberwocky · 30/03/2017 09:55

And everyone's bloody nosey in this office. Just because I'm eating a bar of chocolate already and refusing tea they think it's a sign of impending death Grin

ChocolateRaisin · 30/03/2017 10:21

I'm just taking folic acid at the moment but am going to start on pregnacare today. I still just can't believe I am pregnant, for some reason I had in my head that I would never be able to get pregnant again after last year.

Zabe I know the feeling about the eating! I am in an office with very observant women who will notice my changing eating habits quickly! Yesterday I had chicken breast, baked sweet potato with a soft bolied egg on it (which was delicious!!) and cherry tomatoes, which is a bit of a strange combo but was really lovely! I have also started refusing cups of green tea, which I normally drink constantly all day!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you tomorrow, I am sure it will all be fine.

glastogal · 30/03/2017 10:21

Millie - YES!! I'm having the worst insomnia at the moment, had to go and sleep in the spare room last night as I was moments away from strangling my partner in his sleep!!

No other symptoms here really. Occasional feelings of nausea but nothing major!

glastogal · 30/03/2017 10:23

Chocolate I'm only taking folic acid at the moment too. Will look into a vit D supplement but am hoping I'm getting enough in the meantime!

Lindorballs · 30/03/2017 10:27

I'm taking pregnacare. Needed something with iron in it. I became anaemic during and after my last pregnancy and have had to take a low dose of iron ever since to keep my levels up.
No weird symptoms yet although interesting about insomnia. Have had some difficulty sleeping but hasn't made the link. Hope it gets better soon!

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 10:40

OMG glastogal- exactly the same!! I finally gave in at 1.30am and went downstairs to try and sleep on the sofa... then randomly burst into tears, haha! Reckon I got about 3 hours as awake at 5.30am, what the hell?! Good practice I suppose... !

glastogal · 30/03/2017 10:42

I said that to dp this morning millie - I should get used to living on no sleep. Might have a nap later!

runthemileyourein · 30/03/2017 10:59

Taking Pregnacare and also topping up folic acid with Boots own brand 400mg. Symptom-wise my boobs are sore and nipples on fire! Also really fatigued and last night in floods of tears watching Rio Ferdinand's Being Mum and Dad doco. Normally I would have found it sad but last night I was sat there with make up running down my face!

runthemileyourein · 30/03/2017 11:01

Ps anyone else still POAS every couple of days to see stronger line or week counter on CB Digis going up? Or is it just me?? Grin

glastogal · 30/03/2017 11:02

Gotta love them hormones run Grin I've seen a few people talk about that Rio programme. Might give it a watch but I will probably be reduced to a puddle too!!

glastogal · 30/03/2017 11:03

I have taken a test every day for the last 9 days.. but I have to stop!! Really going to try and get to Sunday without doing another 😳

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 11:04

Ha! Do you have any children already glasto? Sorry if you've already said...

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/03/2017 11:07

Doing my second FRER tomorrow 12DPO hope the line is darker! Felt very dizzy and sick this morning 😷

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 11:13

I got a faint line on monday early eve then got the "pregnancy 1-2" on the digi Tuesday morning. I'm planning on taking another digi and standard one tomorrow morning- I'm surprised I've lasted this long tbh...!!

glastogal · 30/03/2017 11:21

No Millie this is my first pregnancy! I need to take a chill pill. How about you?

Zaberwocky · 30/03/2017 11:30

All of you. STOP WASTING MONEY ON TESTS 😂 Just think of all the wine the money you spend on tests will be able to buy you at Christmas ...

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 11:34

First one too glasto. My partner said to me last night when I was stressing that I needed to take a chill pill!! I think men are different perhaps... can they detach a little more easily as it's not their body do you think... ? Or is that unfair?!

glastogal · 30/03/2017 11:39

Haha zaber good point!! I actually was already well stocked up on tests and I'm not buying any more.. but I do still have one CB digital left.. saving it for Sunday and hoping for 3+ weeks (but I know they can be a bit unreliable so I will try not to freak if I don't get it!)

Millie I think my dp is just as nervous as me tbh but he obviously doesn't have all the tummy niggles etc so he's less crazy than I am Wink

Zaberwocky · 30/03/2017 11:58

Millie - I do agree with that to a degree! I think DH is just trying not to get too excited, we've been disappointed so many times before, so I think he finds it easier to be a bit removed from the situation.

Glasto 😂 Oh well. They expire quickly so I suppose you may as well use it! I think my CB digital expired in 2018. So no chance of it being used in time!

Millie2008 · 30/03/2017 12:04

Yes zabe, I think my partner is the same actually. Which is good as one of us needs to remain level headed!!
