Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Good luck Zabe, fingers crossed everything will be fine.

Zaberwocky · 28/03/2017 10:58

Thank you both :)

I've been reffered to the EPU. I've got an appointment Friday morning. Doctor couldn't have been more lovely. Now I'm debating whether or not I should be telling work that's where I am on Friday Hmm

NaturWilde · 28/03/2017 15:45

Hope you manage to relax before your appointment Zaberwocky. It's tough waiting!

Zaberwocky · 28/03/2017 16:04

Thank you :)

I'm trying to. Thankfully I have a meeting tomorrow so preparation for that is distracting me a bit! And then I'm hoping the fall out from the meeting will keep me busy till Thursday Grin

How's everyone else feeling today?

TipTop333 · 28/03/2017 16:24

Good luck for Friday zaberwocky

How is everyone else feeling today?

My symptoms are coming and going all over the place, and my anxiety is all over the shop. I'd cope with it better if cramps weren't one of my symptoms (I had them quite a lot just before my mc).

I've just remembered how much I hate early pregnancy.

runthemileyourein · 28/03/2017 16:38

I hope the time until Friday goes quickly for you Zaberwoky. Flowers

I started the day by POAS to check I was still pregnant as only 13dpo. My boobs have already grown and are so sore! Every time I notice CM I'm checking and remembering my MMC in December. I feel like a crazy woman! So I've decided to have an early scan at 7-8w to put my mind at ease (hopefully!)

How's everyone else?

Chamonix1 · 28/03/2017 17:04

Runthemile I was thinking of an early scan but I don't think DH will be fussed about forking out the £££! How much is yours costing if I may ask?
I also poas this AM, my internet cheapie that didn't show bfp when I first tested now produced a decent line, I'm also obsessing about every twinge etc, joys of finding out early I guess!
Totally exhaustion is pretty much my only symptom and my boobs growing a scary amount already!
Hope everyone else is okay Smile

NaturWilde · 28/03/2017 17:15

Will have a 6 week scan too...

No symptoms yet!! Everyone else has hard boobs already:-( but still getting very strong lines, getting stronger each day!

Officially missed my period now, am 4w1d!

runthemileyourein · 28/03/2017 17:18

Hi Cham! I have been looking at www.ultrasound-direct.com/mobile/babybond-pregnancy-scans (don't know if that will hyperlink, sorry!) and it's £89 for an early scan.

I know it seems pricey but I just moved to Switzerland with work late last year and it's a lot cheaper for me to visit family and combine with a private scan than to go here. I had the pleasure of paying £1000+ for my miscarriage in December (scans and blood tests)

Chamonix1 · 28/03/2017 17:21

Run, thanks for the link!
Shock- re the miscarriage, as If it's not bad enough with out forking out all that money, I'm sorry you went through that. Fx a sticky bean for you!

runthemileyourein · 28/03/2017 18:10

Thank you Cham Smile Fx for all of us

Zaberwocky · 28/03/2017 18:18

Run, that is absolutely horrendous! I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

northernlass81 · 28/03/2017 19:18

Hi ladies. After a weekend of odd tests, I finally got my strong BFP today so would love to join you on this board. I'm due Dec 4th and this will baby number 2 and my son had just turned 2. I had a suspicion I was pregnant about a week ago - a few odd symptoms including a migraine which I've not had for ages and extreme tiredness. I can only assumed I Ov'd a bit later than I thought. I had what looked like a really faint tesco evap line on Fri, and the same on some ICs over the weekend. Had a slightly darker clear blue yesterday but seemed to fade to very faint after an hour. Tested with a FRER this afternoon and no mistaking it now - very clear positive. I was just testing too early - something I always say I won't do but can't help myself. This was our first proper month TTC number 2 so can't quite believe it!

ChocolateRaisin · 28/03/2017 19:34

I'm really understanding the anxiety, it's hit me today big time. I'm not due on until Friday, though I'm getting stronger lines everyday, feel exhausted, a bit queasy and starving hungry already, so I'm taking some comfort from that.

I'm thinking of paying for 2 private scans, one at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks- that's overkill isn't it?!

I had an early scan at 8 weeks with my mmc which was the first indication something wasn't right. The baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks, though I still had strong symptoms. I guess having a 6 week scan won't really ease my mind much, so probably not worth doing.

Flowers and Cake for everyone who is worrying.

Chamonix1 · 28/03/2017 20:04

Congratulations on your bfp Nothern! Sounds like you've made your way through almost as many pregnancy tests as me. Grin
Flowers chocolate, I say do whatever you need to do to ease your mind. I was very naive and fortunate with dd1 but now I'm more informed and a proper adult this pregnancy stuff scares the shit out of me. Hoping we all have our new babies safely delivered in time for Christmas Smile

MegsMog · 28/03/2017 21:17

Welcome to those who've joined.

I think we'll go for a 7-8 week scan, just to see what's going on. There's a place near us that a friend used offering £45 reassurance scans, which seems ok for offering a little peace of mind.

I've just self-referred to my hospital of choice, and so will be waiting for a letter about scans etc.

MegsMog · 28/03/2017 21:20

northern how old is your DC?

northernlass81 · 28/03/2017 21:43

megs - he's just turned 2 last week so all being well I'll have a 2yr 8 month age gap. How about yours?

glastogal · 28/03/2017 22:04

Congratulations to all the new BFPs!! yay - so many December babies :D I booked a scan at 7+5 today and my booking in appointment for the next day (so hopefully that all works out) - feeling super nervous about it all!!

MegsMog · 29/03/2017 06:59

northern DD will be two in two weeks 😱 so similar gap! I won't lie - a part of me is dreading the return to no sleep / nappies / incessant feeding. But I think it would be a lovely age gap if all works out.

WeShouldOpenABar · 29/03/2017 07:54

Ok as of today I'm actually missing my period, the joy of early tests! I haven't been able to convince myself it's true despite all the positive tests but now it's feeling more real

TheGrumpySquirrel · 29/03/2017 07:56

Hi all I just got my BFP this morning I can't believe it! Due 10th Dec!

runthemileyourein · 29/03/2017 08:57

Congratulations Grumpy!! Grin

Just booked an early scan for 8w3d! Feels so far away! Confused

Zaberwocky · 29/03/2017 09:14

Congratulations Grumpy Grin !

Don't worry Run, time will fly! You'll be so busy enjoying the lovely symptoms you won't even notice, you'll probably have your head in the toilet by next week Wink

NaturWilde · 29/03/2017 09:43

Just booked a reassurance scan in 3 weeks. I'll be 7+3!!! Smile Grin
