Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Congrats on the snail Zabe. I got my 5.5 week scan (had fertility treatment and bleeding at 5 weeks) and it looked much the same. I should have taken a picture of it. Did not occur to me. Getting another one next week though, to check if it is growing. Did the doctor say anything encouraging?

runthemileyourein · 12/04/2017 15:35

Congratulations Zabe!! I had a scan on Monday and it looked similar, almost like a smudge Smile Was it measuring right to the dates?

looby1304 · 12/04/2017 15:42

Congratulations zabe! Hopefully it has put your mind at rest a bit?

Chamonix1 · 12/04/2017 15:47

Yay Zabe. Lovely snail you've got there. Grin

Zaberwocky · 12/04/2017 15:57

Thank you all! Yes. And my cyst appears to have vanished, which the think accounts for the bleeding. My uterus is now painless and free of fluid Grin T'is marvellous.

I'm a week behind what I should be, but to be honest I'm never 100% sure when I ovulate anyway.

I'm just so relieved! I've booked my midwife appointment for the 3rd of May.

Beardy1 · 12/04/2017 15:59

zabe congrats on the snail. That must be so comforting.

Annie1290 · 12/04/2017 16:05

My paranoia has reached new levels, I'm scared to even do another digi in case it's not progressed which is stupid cos I know they're not that reliable.

Can't wait til next week for a scan. Keep getting hot flushes particularly in the afternoon so putting that down as a symptom!

Congrats Zabe

JCHatchling · 12/04/2017 16:31

Snail looks fab!!
Annie I did a clearblue today wanting to see the 3+ as I'm 5+4, but only got 2-3. However, I did it at lunchtime so hoping when do it again tomorrow with first urine of day will be okay! Can't wait for 7 week scan!!!!

Lixon · 12/04/2017 16:31

What lovely news Zabe, I read back through the thread and was amazed at how stoically you were dealing with all the uncertainty - fingers crossed things keep progressing smoothly and without more pain.

Congratulations to those with the hoped for results on digis and darker lines, I'm another pondering if I should do my last one at the weekend or if it might freak me out if I don't get 3 weeks..

goldielocks29 · 12/04/2017 16:35

Congrats Zabe amazing news! Your little snail looks beautiful!

60percentbanana · 12/04/2017 17:36

Hello, I'm going to join you all if that's ok. I've just had a positive result (well, yesterday) and am probably due around the 18th-20th December. My last pregnancy in Jan resulted in a miscarriage so I'm a bit nervous this time. I didn't know repeated testing for stronger and stronger lines was an actual thing til I read this thread, so thanks for that Grin. Here was me thinking my test buying days were over!

tuxie11 · 12/04/2017 17:58

Congrats on the snail zabe

BirdBrain85 · 12/04/2017 18:28

Zabe that's the most beautiful snail I've ever seen!! Grin I bet it all feels more real now!

60percent congratulations! Wishing you a very happy and healthy 9 months xx

I felt sick for the first time this afternoon, but it started in the car so maybe it was just a bit of travel sickness Hmm ... hope this isn't the start of the dreaded "morning" sickness.

Zaberwocky · 12/04/2017 18:52

Thank you all so much Grin honestly I don't think I could've held my shit together with you lot and being on here. Mumsnet is full of such amazing and supportive people!

Good luck to everyone else having early scans too. It really is amazing stuff.

Marie90 · 12/04/2017 19:10

Zabe your snail is beautiful 🐌 i bet it's such a relief! Here's to a slightly less crazy 8 months!

Welcome 60 and congratulations! Is it starting to sink in yet?

I've got really sore back ache today. Not low down but more like in the middle of the back. I think i may have over done it in work today Confused
Anyone else worrying over the smallest things?!

amazingrobot · 12/04/2017 19:34

Zabe, that's awesome! Nothing better. I really do think the Dec 17-ers are the poas line-progression addicts! I called the epu this morning as still spotting - possibly a bit more. The midwife on call said that line progression is an excellent indication at this stage. I'm having first beta-hcg tomorrow - with 3 previous c-sections I'm high risk for ectopic. I feel ok about it at the moment - boobs hurting a bit.

TootsyBella84 · 12/04/2017 19:37

Congratulations on your snail Zaber 🐌😍
How many weeks are you measuring? I'm hoping to see a beautiful healthy snail in a few weeks time!

I've been suffered with bloat since tea time 😷 and so it begins lol.

I have another digital to use, I got 2-3 yesterday so I'm hoping for 3+ next week although not sure if I should just leave it and not torture myself!

Congratulations and welcome 60!

Zaberwocky · 12/04/2017 20:03

Amazing I know it's hard, but try not to worry about the spotting. It's entirely out of your control. I know I'm not one to talk though 😂 ! And apparently even the amount of blood I had can be totally normal, so hopefully that's a bit reassuring!

Tootsy I'm measuring at 6 weeks, it should be 7-8 in theory though. Yours may nit be a snail! It may be a grasshopper, or a moth or something superior to a snail Grin

Zaberwocky · 12/04/2017 20:04

I am however delighted to throw myself out of the running for having twins!

satsoooma · 12/04/2017 20:07

Oh gosh, me too Zabe. I asked at my 5 week scan was whether they could tell me if I was having twins. I was on Clomid, so the risk was there. Fortunately, there was just one Grin

fishfingerSarnies · 12/04/2017 20:14

Can I tentatively join please, bfp this morning but not due on until Sunday, also had a chemical pregnancy last month so feeling nervous. I swore I wouldn't test early this month... but there I was this morning poas!
Due dat Christmas Eve! But will probably be a c section (2 previous) so won't be a Christmas baby.

WeShouldOpenABar · 12/04/2017 20:14

Congrats zab glad the worries over

SamiZayn · 12/04/2017 20:54

Big hello to the new December recruits. And zab Awww look at your little bean. I've been poas daily, luckily they are cheapo ones. I'm going away to Spain for a few days just me and DH. DD is hanging out with her grandparents. Will miss my little buddy but this might be mine and DHs last alone time for a while if this December one sticks.

Babbu1 · 12/04/2017 21:04

Hi everyone, I've been off for a while, life just seemed too busy especially with the new 9pm exhaustion bedtime! Also missed an entire night's sleep last week with my little one in A&E (fine a few days after) which really worried me as to how much it impacted on my body as I could hardly stand by the end, but think all's OK. Still feeling pretty sick only staved off with mountains of snacks, so already out of a couple of pairs of jeans! I did manage a run tonight though which has cleared my head a bit even if it was frustratingly slow. Hi to all the newbies and so glad those needing early scans have turned out OK. To answer some other questions when I got a chance to read through, I'll be nearly 37 when baby comes, live in Yorkshire, and have told loads of friends already but no family til had a scan. Two of my nct group are already preggers and there's no secrets like that possible between us all! My daughter's 18 months ago today, it seems like passed in the blink of an eye really x

BirdBrain85 · 12/04/2017 21:34

Marie I've had pain in my right hip today so I get where you're coming from Sad not nice. I asked Dr Google and apparently it's just from the hormones/ligaments stretching. What fun!

Fish Congratulations on your bfp! Wishing you a very sticky little embryo xx

Sami Glad I'm not the only one still poas haha. Have a brilliant time on your holiday!

Babbu Welcome back - glad your little one is okay. And wow, you went running!! I can barely get through a day walking haha Grin
