Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

I'd like to join! I got my bfp this morning! My due date is Christmas Day!
This will be no, 3 :)

TootsyBella84 · 12/04/2017 22:48

Can't wait to see all the insect like blobs on the scans! 😂
Welcome all the newbies. I wonder if there will be a Christmas day baby in this group!

60percentbanana · 13/04/2017 00:00

Zabe - thank you! Marie - not yet, I don't think I'll believe it til I see it!

I'm definitely feeling it. Boobs are a cup size bigger, but other than that energy levels are normal, no nausea yet. I'm making the most of it as it will probably all kick in shortly!

Millie2008 · 13/04/2017 00:51

Hey guys, going for a bit of advice.
Really stressed as had to put the brakes on pretty quickly in the car this evening. Wasn't super sudden, but enough to leave me a little shaken. I'm now just totally freaking out that it may have done damage to the little bean. I'm 6weeks on Friday. What are people's honest thoughts? It didn't hurt my stomach, but the seatbelt probs dug in a bit when stopping quickly. No different symptoms or spotting... so stressed. Have trawled the internet but not really found much...

amazingrobot · 13/04/2017 06:40

Millie - it will be absolutely fine. Particularly in the first trimester. There is so much padding and they are so tiny - the size of a poppy seed currently. It's when they are near term that it becomes more of a worry - although I'd say that this incident doesn't sound very bad anyway.

I keep thinking I have no symptoms but then realise that I don't want to have to wear anything buttoned around my waist as I am so bloated.

Beardy1 · 13/04/2017 06:41

marie and bird I've been having the odd pinching and pulling/achy pain in my left hip. I also enquirer with dr Google and feel it must be part of the uterus and ligament stretching. I think it's wordy for people having their first from what I read.

Beardy1 · 13/04/2017 07:26

Jese I just read the wording in my previous post. Predictive texting and not proofing reading makes for terrible writing.
Enquirer= enquired
Wordy = more common

I have a physio appt today as I have an inflammatory condition in my hips and it's definetly got worse since the old pregnancy started. It'll be interesting to see what they say about my night leg achy/cramps

Beardy1 · 13/04/2017 07:28

millie I agree with amazing they are very protected early on and it seems it's more hazardous in your final trimester. Try not to worry too much

looby1304 · 13/04/2017 07:38

millie I think you'll be fine, I know it's still hard not to worry though!
I've also been having more pulling/tugging pains this week and fewer cramps. Have woken up today feeling very nauseous, I'm forcing down some toast at the moment and keeping my fingers crossed it stays down!

glastogal · 13/04/2017 07:45

Morning all!! I think baby will be absolutely fine Millie, I agree with what everyone else is saying 😘

Didn't get up in the night to pee last night.. boobs aren't that sore today.. I can't decide whether symptomless pregnancy is ace or awful!!

LisaPoouts · 13/04/2017 07:56

Hi ladies, I am having similar symptoms too. 6 weeks now and have pulling and sometimes sharp pain twinges. The nausea started in Sunday too which has really wiped me out. The thought of brushing my teeth actually makes me gag, not cool!! Also finding it hard to take my vitamins, as swallowing tablets has the same affect. Xxx

These sticks are my only symptom at the moment. Almost threw up last night at the sight of husbands homemade beef burgers but that's about it!

Thank god it's Easter, I can't wait to sleep in and do nothing :) we are going to Valencia for the weekend on Saturday on a 6.30 flight! Wish me luck for that one! Mornings are not my favourite the best of times :( xxx happy Easter break ladies 😘😘

millie sorry you've had to go through that, but echoing the others, I'm sure you will be fine.

I'm delighted this morning because my boobs are agony and I've gone up a week to 2-3 weeks on a digital in 5 days, have to try and save my other one for next week to hopefully see a 3+ now. Starting to sink in a little. Still trying not to get my hopes up to much in case anything goes wrong but I know if it does I will be gutted already.

tuxie11 · 13/04/2017 08:44

Echoing the thoughts of if symptomless is worth than symptoms. Seems like it's ok to worry about everything and anything at this stage Blush what I'd give to have a small window to check inside to make sure all is ok!

I've even started being abit anxious about the screening tests, how nuts is that? I know there's not anything anyone can do but find myself worrying about it! I'm not one to suffer with anxiety but found the past few days it's made itself aware Sad

tuxie11 · 13/04/2017 08:45

Congrats on the 3+ though guys Flowers

ChocolateRaisin · 13/04/2017 08:49

Congratulations Zabe, brilliant news!!

Millie don't worry, you will be fine. In the first trimester there is so much protection there, you would need a significant trauma to affect anything, a sudden hard brake will not have hurt anything.

I threw up for the first time this morning. When I woke up it felt like I'd had rather too much to drink last night, I felt groggy, sick and horrid. I'm welcoming the symptoms to be honest, I'm hoping that it means that everything is ok. Only 2 weeks until my early scan now...!

Lixon · 13/04/2017 08:59

Ooh I just had an unexpected call from a midwife offering me booking in this Saturday! Am only around 5w and would normally get letter through post for 8 weeks so not sure if they're quiet or wanting to accelerate me due to history. I can't actually make it so have been booked in for 25 April after my scan instead. It still doesn't feel very real (other than ongoing insomnia and a bit of nausea..).

Sorry to hear about your stressful evening Millie, agree it's probably nothing to worry about but look after yourself.

Congratulations and welcome to the new additions, December will hopefully be a busy month!

Millie2008 · 13/04/2017 09:38

Thank you for all the reassuring messages guys :-) really appreciate it. Was lovely to wake up to them all and feel a bit better now. Think I'd just been feeling really anxious about everything and that was the final straw!
I've been feeling really nauseas the last couple of weeks and threw up for the first time this morning- strangely reassuring!

Zaberwocky · 13/04/2017 09:41

Oh Millie Sad that must have been terrifying! As everyone else has said, the baby is super protected at this stage. Just make sure you're taking care of yourself.

Chocolate I'd honestly forgotten what a weird feeling morning sickness is! It is like being drunk isn't it? Is anything specific setting it off?

I think this is one of the busiest antenatal threads I've seen Grin I'm so excited for December!

satsoooma · 13/04/2017 09:44

I am feeling sorry for myself this morning. I am 6 weeks tomorrow and have felt nauseous 24/7 for a week. I can only drink hot water and eat plain digestives and I have to eat constantly, even when I feel awful. I also threw up for the first time this morning. I actually felt great for about half an hour after that.

On top of that I have some more bleeding this morning. Not as much as last week, but still worrying. I had a scan on Monday which showed a pregnancy sac and yolk. The follow up, to tell me if the pregnancy is viable, isn't until next week.

JCHatchling · 13/04/2017 09:44

Congrats to everyone who is starting their morning sickness phase! I'm hoping I get the reassurance next week, as I'm not 6 weeks until Saturday. Weird the things we look forward to... x

amazingrobot · 13/04/2017 09:51

Satsooma, the nausea and throwing up is a great sign. The bleeding is so scary - my spotting has turned red this morning (only intermittently when I wipe) and I have just been for my first beta hcg bloods. Trust me to choose a bank holiday Hmm. Dunno when I'll get results back.

If it's any consolation, I bled heavily with ds1 - clots as well. He is a strapping nearly 11 year old now. How much are you bleeding? The first trimester is a special kind of torture all of its own Sad.

Great news on increasing CB digital tests. A very positive development for you all.

Angielka · 13/04/2017 09:54

Congrats on the snail zabe!

Glad you're feeling reassured Millie

My sympathy to all of you throwing up... I have just come back to my desk after throwing up for the 3rd time in 3 days. It's pretty miserable, but agree that no symptoms can be more stressful in a way. Just have to get through today and then I plan to lie on the sofa for four days while my parents entertain the DDs...
