Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Yep, another tired one here.... zzzzzzzz
I haven't heard back about my booking appointment yet but they did say it could take up to 2 weeks! I'm so impatient!

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/04/2017 21:36

I forgot to ask how long it should take to hear back about booking in appointment. They said they would want to see me at 7/8 weeks. I'm away at 7+4 through to 8+2 weeks so I hope they phone me soon to arrange it for 7 weeks. We booked our private scan for 7+2. So excited. Hope it's all going to turn out ok!

Annie1290 · 12/04/2017 07:14

Add me to the insomnia club. 4.55 for half an hr, 5.55, and that was it. Added to not being able to sleep last night til late and feeling like a zombie on my way to work

amazingrobot · 12/04/2017 08:08

Morning everyone. Hope people aren't too knackered with lack of sleep.

This is my final poas update (I think!) and I'm relieved. Think I'll stick around for now. I'm 4+6 today.

Morning everyone.

Gosh, I am so tired today! Was in bed last night by 10, up once in the night and then up at 6 and I feel like I need another 8 hours! I feel exhausted!

My best friend is back from her honeymoon and came round last night so I told her. It's so nice having someone to chat to about it! She is 24 weeks pregnant now, so all being well our maternity leave will over lap by about 6 months which will be much more fun than being on my own the whole day!

Vaguely feeling nauseous, I hope it stays like this!

How is everyone feeling today?

glastogal · 12/04/2017 08:22

Congrats amazingrobot - that looks pretty conclusive!

glastogal · 12/04/2017 08:26

Aw it's nice to have someone to chat to choc 😁

I feel the same as always (normal with hulky sore boobs) today. Being pregnant is so far much like being a teenager - I'm also covered in spots 😫

Off to visit my BFF and her new baby this morning. She's a tiddler at 4.5 lbs as she was premature but she's doing so well. Can't wait for snuggles ☺️

Mrsbluebell17 · 12/04/2017 08:29

Morning all
Another 4am wake up for me too!!
Glad to see that result for you amazing. I'm going to do another digi on Friday or Saturday and hoping to see the 3+ result!

Zaberwocky · 12/04/2017 08:38

I'm so happy that people are getting stronger lines and clearer results Smile

I'm off to the hospital this morning for what'll hopefully be my last scan for a few weeks! And hopefully I'll come back with some good news later Smile

Millie2008 · 12/04/2017 08:39

Hey guys, I got my 3+ result yesterday afternoon! Yay! Was so happy to see it but then started wondering how meaningful it actually is... does anyone know whether it's really an indicator of whether things are going in the right direction? Sorry, all new to me.
Anyway, I'm def in the insomnia and nausea-tastic group...!

tuxie11 · 12/04/2017 08:46

Hope everyone is getting the rest they need - I certainly am sleeping like a log at night!

millie it's not supposed to be used as an indicator of viability as I think everyone's HCG levels are different, but if it's what you're expecting then that's great. I had a 3+ result and which I was not expecting - but I think I probably ovulated earlier as my cycles have been a bit irregular. Smile

I wake up every morning and it takes me a second to be like am I still pregnant?! I find it so weird that once the test is taken, it's positive, you've got such a loooong stretch til the booking appointment, and then a ew more weeks til you see it! I sometimes feel like I made the whole thing up as I really don't (luckily!) feel too different to normal... except my chin is a lovely hormonal spotty mess.

Am I the only one?!

TootsyBella84 · 12/04/2017 08:48

Okay I'm officially a peeing on a stick addict. Here we have cheapies from Saturday, Monday and today. Definitely going in the right direction for now! Keep growing for me little bean! I think I need to stop worrying about tests for now and concentrate on my scan in a few weeks.

I've been feeling 'off' the past couple mornings but still generally okay, I'm just waiting on the sickness hitting. I had kind of text book morning sickness with my oldest and then hyperemesis with my youngest (which was horrendous!) and then pretty awful sickness with both mc so I'm fully expecting it to start any time now!

Hope everyone is doing good

Good luck at your scan Zaber

amazing wheee I'm glad you're happy with your digital result!
tuxie I know what you mean, I'm reluctant to tell my parents until I've had some kind of verification at the hospital. I could just be making it up! Saying that, this morning I was sick for the first time Sad so yes, I think I'm definitely pregnant now.
The next challenge will be to try to disguise it while spending a lot of time with my parents in a small house. I'd be interested to know how many of you have told family already?

ChocolateRaisin · 12/04/2017 09:22

Ahhh, enjoy cuddles Glasto

I to have a spotty chin, which I am hoping has started to clear up now. I struggle with my skin at the best of times but this breakout has been a beast and I haven't been able to put my usual products on it which makes me feel worse!

Good luck Zabe!

Chamonix1 · 12/04/2017 09:30

Good luck Zabe I have my fingers and toes crossed for you Smile
Also feeling a little sick this morning and exhausted as dd woke up a few times last night and couldn't get back to sleep due to dh's wonderful snoring!
Was hoping to do a CB digital today, that my husband kindly bought for me yesterday and then left in his work bag and took back to work with him. Will have to wait until tomorrow, hoping for 3+ haven't thought about how I'll feel if that doesn't happen though, I may regret doing it!
Foxglove my cousin knows as she's a close friend but our mutual friends also know as they caught me out. I'm just desperately hoping someone doesn't slip up and say something when I'm around my Aunty as I'd hate for her to know before my mum, already feel a little guilty about it.

tuxie11 · 12/04/2017 09:30

I feel your pain chocolate since I came off Yasmin in Dec I had a lovely outbreak of acne on my cheek - has subsided now but got one of those huge lumps under my chin which is actually quite painful! hopefully we will see some of this lovely glowing skin soon?!

fox we've told both sets of parents, and a friend each. My friend is currently pregnant so it's lovely to be guided in a sense. Both sets of parents will be first grandchild so we couldn't not tell them. We've only told people we know will support should things unfortunately not go to plan. touchwood

WeShouldOpenABar · 12/04/2017 09:37

Having a bit of a dilemma this morning, realised my morning sickness and cramps were more bowel than stomach related, tmi sorry constantly feel like I'm going to get period shits Blush. Anyway strong coffee has always kept things 'moving' for me before but I've been off it for quite a while now for pregnancy and bladder issues.

I decided to try a cup this morning and hey presto pain subsided within fifteen minutes, now I know you're allowed some caffeine but it seemed like an easy thing to give up so now I'm feeling guilty as it's the only thing that made me feel better!

Chamonix1 · 12/04/2017 09:48

Weshould
I'm no expert but I'd imagine a cup of coffee every now and then to get things moving is better for both you and baby than being severely constipated and in pain!

Marie90 · 12/04/2017 09:59

Morning ladies, hope you're all ok!

Huge good luck today Zaber, I've got everything crossed for you!

Weshouldopenabar i wouldn't panic too much... I junk you're allowed 200mg of caffeine a day (roughly one cup of coffee, OR a cup of tea and a chocolate bar)! Hope you're feeling better than this morning.

I'm joining he knackered train today. I have the morning off work so was planning on getting loads done round the house but it was all i could do to walk the dog and have a shower and now I'm back in bed! Ooops!

Marie90 · 12/04/2017 09:59

*think not junk.... Too sleepy to type!

TipTop333 · 12/04/2017 10:18

Weshould last time, coffee would really knock my nausea on the head. I had to do it too for my own wellbeing!

I'm rereading Expecting Better and it overviews and distinguishes between the scientific research into alcohol and caffeine and makes me feel a lot more relaxed around what I can and can't have. Definitely 2 cups of coffee a day is fine (1 if you also have other caffeine - tea, Coke, etc). Nhs guidelines err way on the side of caution (e.g. It's easier to advise people not to drink at all as they don't trust that people will self regulate sufficiently if they say one small drink a day from the second trimester is fine, which according to the research it is).

So don't worry and enjoy your coffee!

WeShouldOpenABar · 12/04/2017 10:56

Thanks everyone, coffee also woke me up a bit from the oppressive tiredness so I think I'll allow one a day

BirdBrain85 · 12/04/2017 11:13

Amazing I'm so chuffed for you! So glad you got a good result on the digital :)

Tuxie and Tootsie I also feel like maybe I'm imagining the whole thing! My dad said to me this morning "you're not still taking tests are you" ...... I was like errrr well, just the odd one!! I just like to check the line is still there Blush

Sorry for all of you who are feeling sick. I find I feel my best for the first few hours I'm up, then I get tired and feel a bit off from about 3pm. I slept in today (after waking up a million times) so I'm hoping I can stave it off a bit longer.

ChocolateRaisin · 12/04/2017 14:23

Oh. My. Goodness. The tiredness I am experiencing today is extreme! I am literally falling asleep at my desk! Roll on 4pm when I can go home and crash on my sofa! Just got tomorrow morning to work and then I have a nice long weekend to sleep. I thought I was tired before, this is a new level!

Definite nauseous feelings before lunch as well, I could happily have tucked into chicken nuggets from McDonalds instead of my nice healthy lunch.

God I feel rubbish today... I hope it isn't like this for the whole first trimester!

Zaberwocky · 12/04/2017 15:24

Well 😂 After several hours, I present to you, what appears to be a snail.
