Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

tuxie it's great you got your appointment. It might be a bit of a surprise finding out how far long you are.

Beardy1 · 11/04/2017 14:10

looby I know what you mean about it dragging. I feel like I'm constantly click watching and checking how many days and weeks I've been pregnant. I'm hoping work gets a bit busier to take my mind off it all.

TootsyBella84 · 11/04/2017 15:10

Exciting with all these midwife appointments booked! I have a scan booked for may 2nd and if all is okay I will make a mw appointment x

pauseplayrepeat · 11/04/2017 15:25

Just been reading back over the last couple of pages - hello and congrats to the new additions.

I'm another one who's 38 and this will be DC3. DC1 & DC2 will be 6 & 8 when this little one is born, so a bit of a gap but I'm happy with that. Combo of pregnancy/newborn baby/v active toddler was tough!

Biggest symptom for me is an overwhelming hankering for something. That ever elusive snack that will stave off nausea and hit the spot. I wander around the supermarket uninspired. Then, just when I think I've found the holy grail crisp/energy bar, about 3 bites in I'm over it. I'm building quite the collection of half eaten snack items Grin

Beardy1 · 11/04/2017 15:32

pauseplayrepeat I'm like you hankering for a tasty snack to fill the void. I'm normally a sweet kind of person but I'm craving really salty food like olives and crisps.

BirdBrain85 · 11/04/2017 15:54

Ohhhh Beardy does that mean you're having a boy?? Grin

Beardy1 · 11/04/2017 16:15

Omg birdbrain is that a sign?

BirdBrain85 · 11/04/2017 16:24

Beardy Haha well I think it's all an old wives tales, but! they say sweet for a girl and savoury for a boy!!

Angielka · 11/04/2017 17:03

Thanks Marie and Lixon it was pretty early so nobody noticed when I rushed off to the loo. I'm only six weeks +3 so plenty of sickness to come Confused

Sorry about the spotting Sad early pregnancy is pretty terrible in many ways

Angielka · 11/04/2017 17:04

Pauseplayrepeat I am with you all the way about that snack! Let me know if you find it...

Angielka · 11/04/2017 17:08

Oh and if that's true I must be lining up for a boy too... I've gone off, wait for it... CHOCOLATE Shock

SamiZayn · 11/04/2017 17:32

I'm only 4+2 but oh my lord the bloat. I must confess I deviated from slimming world and had a slice of cake but it wasn't worth the pain! I'm flying on Thursday so I'm going to be a big beachball

JCHatchling · 11/04/2017 18:08

Does anyone else have aching ovaries? It's a dull ache/ sensitive feeling. I've 5+3... I'm so exhausted, but I think it's because it's the rise in progesterone which makes you tired, and I'm on so much progesterone through my fertility treatment...

Exciting that you guys are getting your appointments booked in! Can't wait for when everyones scan pics start arriving!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/04/2017 18:14

I had food poisoning last night so went to EPU this morning as obviously terrified. They said nothing to worry about just get plenty of rest and fluids! The upside is I got an early scan - it's for real! Sac and yolk seen - only 5mm x 5mm but placenta is implanting into uterus wall too (I thought this was too early but apparently not?!). Omg.. can't believe I'm actually pregnant.. pretty terrified to be honest even though this is not my first! With my first I was in ignorant bliss! And way younger so less tired. I'm just SO tired.

TipTop333 · 11/04/2017 18:19

Grumpy sorry about the food poisoning but that's so exciting!!! You must be pleased to have seen that.

With my first I completely went off sweet stuff in the first trimester. I'd read the old wives tales etc so thought boy. But then from second trimester the sweet tooth came back and I was all about the cake. And girl! So my (not scientific) conclusion is that the first trimester is driven by nausea so may be too soon to see what the cravings are! I am all about the savoury at the moment though.

TipTop333 · 11/04/2017 18:20

Oh and can I ask about booking in appointments? Where I used to live, it was booking in with mw at 8 weeks, scan at 12 at the hospital, and so on.
Apparently here my booking in and scan is done all on the same day at 12-14 weeks. Is that normal??

Beardy1 · 11/04/2017 18:51

Eek birdbrain my dh would love if I had a boy. We are over ruled with females in the house with me and the pooch. It's hormonal with just is two.
I'm craving absolute filthy foods that I've never been that into such as big greasy burgers with chips or canned spaghetti with sausages on toast and cheese. I presume this is normal.

tiptop itd so frustrating that health providers all do different services when it comes to appointments but it will be exciting when the baby pics appear.

grumpy so sorry to hear about food poisoning but even more amazing that you got a scan. Congrats lady. I bet it was amazing seeing your little baby.

Chamonix1 · 11/04/2017 19:29

Anyone else just totally exhausted I'm starting to worry there's something wrong with me, I don't remember feeling so bloody tired with my daughter.
Falling asleep as I type...zzzzz

Chamonix1 · 11/04/2017 19:29

Beardy now massively want spaghetti with sausages in on toast for dinner Shock

TipTop333 · 11/04/2017 19:40

Dh just went to the shop to get me cheese and crackers but then I saw a picture of Heinz tomato soup and CRAVING IT but the bastards didn't take his phone but I am desperate for it.

looby1304 · 11/04/2017 19:43

chomnix yep me! I'm putting it down to a combination of insomnia and general pregnancy tiredness, but don't really know what to do with myself I'm that tired!

looby1304 · 11/04/2017 19:44

chamonix even - so tired I can't even type!

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/04/2017 20:18

Cham and looby - yes me too! So tired. Off to bed now!

Marie90 · 11/04/2017 20:32

Bloating hit for real today!!! I honestly didn't think it would be that bad but i already looked like I'd piled on the pounds! I'm going to have to fish out my baggy tops and jumpers for work asap!

Beardy1 · 11/04/2017 20:40

chamonix ooh it's such a delicious craving. I will break this weekend I think. I'm also so tired my typing is proving to be a challenge so I'm sorry for the messages that make no sense!!

I'm still waking up with achy/crampy legs. Is anyone else having this problem. It's driving me mad.
