Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Really does show how different GP services are. Just spoke to my GP and they said to phone them again at 6 weeks and they will refer for an early scan then due to prev ectopic and should be seen straight away. Why can't they just book one now for next week so I don't have to phone again 😭

So still in limbo til next week I feel like.

ChocolateRaisin · 10/04/2017 17:05

I went to the gp this morning, I'm 5+2. I chose the hospital I want to be referred to, she was very kind about my previous miscarriage and tried to reassure me. Easy! Just got to wait for my letters from the hospital now for my booking in appointment and scan. Booking in wil be in about 3 weeks hopefully, though may be later.

How is everyone feeling? I'm tired but not exhausted, sore boobs and still hungry! No nausea. Doing my best to make healthy choices but my usually fairly dormant sweet tooth is raging at the moment!

glastogal · 10/04/2017 17:14

My boobs are still my only symptom chocolate.. they've gone all hulk-like and veiny!! I'm also finding my sweet tooth hard to resist. Think I'm going to look through some of my more wholesome cookbooks for some low sugar sweet treats!!

glastogal · 10/04/2017 17:17

It's really crazy Annie that they can't just book you in now! This first trimester feels like perpetual limbo, doesn't it?! I wonder if time goes a bit faster in the later stages?!

ChocolateRaisin · 10/04/2017 17:22

I think once we've had scans and got reassurance all is ok the days will go past quicker as we won't constantly be worrying and wondering.

On Thursday it will only be 2 weeks until my early scan. That day cannot come quick enough!

Beardy1 · 10/04/2017 17:22

glastogal I agree with the perpetual limbo. It feel like through the whole process from ttc to first trimester your waiting with uncertainty. A bit of a nightmare sometimes.
I'm there with the hulk-like boobs. Hilarious but so true.

Marie90 · 10/04/2017 17:23

chocolate my boobs and tiredness are my main symptoms too at the moment. I found very prominent weird raised bumps on my nipples which definitely weren't that defined last week which freaked me out a bit!

I've had the odd wave of nausea but not as much as i thought yet! I'm panicking that it means something's wrong, but i bet you as soon as it kicks in for real then I'll be wishing it away!!

glastogal · 10/04/2017 17:31

Glad I'm not alone with my hulk boobs Beardy 😂

Annie1290 · 10/04/2017 17:39

I know glastogal I will be a nutcase by next week!

Knicker watch still going here.

Had a couple of weird stretchy/crampy feelings in my tummy today and just want fruit...which is odd for me, because generally I don't really eat it. Putting these down as symptoms as it makes me feel better!

WeShouldOpenABar · 10/04/2017 17:50

Doctors all a bit anticlimactic isn't it, they've recently started doing the harmony test I think it's new to Ireland and I'm considering it now for some peace of mind

SamiZayn · 10/04/2017 19:13

I swear it's psychological.... Got a bfp and now I want to eat the whole world. Only started slimming world last week as well. My consultant is not going to be impressed on Wednesday.

Mrsbluebell17 · 10/04/2017 19:15

Sami, I feel the same - I'm so hungry all the time. I try to follow slimming world from home and I've not been great these last few weeks but not been too bad thankfully. Just trying to fill up on 'free' and 'speed' foods. I'm only 4+4 and I have today started to notice a serious bloat - anyone else got this? I never get bloated, however I'll be very happy if it's a healthy baby sign. My DH keeps saying 'twins' to me Hmm

SamiZayn · 10/04/2017 19:22

Mrs I was horrendously bloated first time round. Had a five hour flight at 7 weeks pregnant and my stomach blew up like a beach ball. Grim. I'm going to have a very quiet word with my consultant and follow the pregnancy slimming world plan I think. I'm determined not to be a piggy like last time (I give it a week until I'm faceplanting into the Nutella)

SamiZayn · 10/04/2017 19:24

Oooooo twins... Statistically someone on here probably will have twins, I wonder who

BirdBrain85 · 10/04/2017 19:28

bluebell I've also been suffering with the obnoxious bloat curse - it's really awful and makes me feel like I've piled on the pounds even though the scales haven't changed. Apparently progesterone is the cause, so it's definitely a good sign!

Sami I don't think the hunger's psychological, mine started before I even got my BFP. Things have improved a bit now... uh, hmm or maybe not, I had to start lunch early today too haha.

Annie1290 · 10/04/2017 19:34

Helpfully one of my work uniform trousers got a hole in them today so requested a size bigger to accommodate bloat 😂👍

Feel like every day is taking a year to pass right now, just want everything to hurry up!

Mrsbluebell17 · 10/04/2017 19:36

Sami eeek I'm going overseas on a long flight with work colleagues at around 7/8 weeks.
Good to know it's not just me. I need to research the slimming world pregnancy plan and start adjusting my diet accordingly. I do think I can do slimming world whilst pregnant so I just need to get on with it and get my mojo back with it really.

Bird glad it's not just me with the bloating..... Its just started today. Fingers crossed it's as you say!

Mrsbluebell17 · 10/04/2017 19:38

Annie I know that feeling. Time is going so slowly. But I guess as long as baby is growing well, it's all worth it.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 10/04/2017 19:52

Hi all, and welcome to new people.

I'm 5+1 today and booked a private scan and harmony test for 10+2. Saw some others with EDD 10 December - snap!

Also having to fly long haul at 7+2 so really hope I don't get sick!!! No nausea yet touch wood.

Cannot even cope with the idea of twins 🙈

Getting booked in by my local home birth team next Saturday (22nd). Very exciting!

looby1304 · 10/04/2017 21:36

Definitely agree with the hunger! All I want to do is snack all day which is exactly what I'm doing at the moment. I was feeling very bloated last week week, but since the weekend it's settled down a bit (hopefully not a bad sign).
I've booked an early scan for when I'll be 8w5d. We're planning a trip back to our parents' home town that weekend so we're planning on telling them then, I was adamant I wanted some form of scan before telling anyone though!

TipTop333 · 10/04/2017 22:44

Oh the hunger. I just swing from being full and not hungry to OHMYGOD GIVE ME FOOD RIGHT NOW. I can feel ravenous about 30 mins after eating a meal and it's sudden. In fact, I feel it right now. A real pit of the stomach kind of hunger.
My digestive system has slowed right down though - bloat, constipation, so I have no idea where the food is moving to so quickly to make me feel this hungry?

Foxglove88 · 10/04/2017 23:36

Ladies, I hear you. I can't work out if my huge stomach is pregnancy bloat or due to eating a takeaway and three pieces of cake today. I changed clothes today to a baggy dress as I was feeling self conscious before I went out. Later on a friend tagged me in a photo on Facebook and I clearly have a bump in it Hmm I would ask my partner if I'm imagining it but he's already asleep....

Yes, I wonder who will be the bearer of twins! Pick me! I'd love it.

Mrsbluebell17 · 11/04/2017 04:13

Hi all

This is my #1 so I'm not sure if showing a little bloated bump at this stage is to be expected?

Also randomly woke up 45 mins ago and now can't sleep Hmm

BirdBrain85 · 11/04/2017 07:00

I keep waking at night too bluebell - I was awake at 3 last night. Never had that problem before Hmm and although I do usually get up and pee (which I also never do) I don't think it's that waking me up.

Marie90 · 11/04/2017 07:00

bluebell i was the same last week! Randomly waking up really early wide awake! I can't sleep last 6.30am at the mo!!
