Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

Hi everyone! I recognise a couple of names from the TTC threads... beardy hi!!
So I'm due Dec 17th according to when we probably conceived. I ovulated really late (day 22) so cant use my last period date as a reliable measure.....
All very unreal still. Had vivid dreams and twitchy legs last night but no other symptoms.
I'm telling dh this eve over dinner. He may shit himself !!!
This is #3 and we have dd aged 4 and 6.
Sorry to hear of people trauma and troubles, I feel for you and this is a great place to vent / rant xx

Beardy1 · 06/04/2017 13:54

Hi marie I'm struggling to lie on my side at the moment. It's so frustrating. I think mine are gonna be like two nightmare melons at this rate

satsooma I thought this also and will look into it. I'm taking a pregnancy multi vitamin and I eat really well. I used to get them really bad as a child so didn't know whether you are prone to them. At the moment I'm falling to sleep straight away but waking up wide awake at midnight and having broken sleep. I didn't know whether I should try having something to eat as it might be that too. Jese only week 4, what have I set myself up for?!!

Angielka · 06/04/2017 14:14

Sorry about the tough times zabe and ima Sad really finding early pregnancy difficult this time around. Been lying in bed with cough and cold on top of nausea today. 6 weeks on Saturday and trying not to think about the sickness lasting until 16 weeks like before, but focusing on it being a symptom so positive. Symptoms stopped before mc last summer so also trying not to be too obsessed about checking my boobs are still sore and I still feel sick Hmm sounding crazy even to myself Confused

Marie90 · 06/04/2017 17:03

Satsooma thats such a good idea! At the moment i don't feel like there's a reason I'm waking up so early but if i start to find its due to hunger then I'm definitely copying your idea!! How many weeks are you?

Beardy oh no! What's the best way to snooze for you? I've got relatively small boobs so it's a bit of a shock to suddenly find them so annoying! All my life I've wanted melons and now they are potentially growing I'm already moaning 🙈

Good luck telling your OH unicorns! I woke mine up the day after i found out and waved a pee stick in his face lol! Not my most subtle move 😆

Sorry about your previous MC Angielka , i hope you can relax and enjoy this pregnancy a little bit despite what you've been through. I find myself copping a feel of the ladies every now and again too... Just to check!!

looby1304 · 06/04/2017 17:08

beardy I've been waking up at 5am every day this week, I don't think it's helping the insane tiredness I've got! Bring on next week for two weeks Easter holidays!

Marie90 · 06/04/2017 17:18

looby are you a teacher? :)

What does everyone else do? And how are you all finding coping with work and early pg?

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 17:29

Angielka thank you, that's really kind of you to say. Honestly, it's okay. I'm just finding the waiting for an answer quite difficult. As is DH.

Marie I have a top secret job Wink to be honest it's the kind of role where no one notices if I show up a bit later than normal/leave early/vanish to the loo for an hour. But I am looking to go back to an old employer, I imagine the commute will get quite tricky if I get the job. I'm currently around 5 minutes away from work! What do you do Smile ?

WeShouldOpenABar · 06/04/2017 17:39

My boobs hurt so much I might cry, I might cry anyway stupid hormones

looby1304 · 06/04/2017 17:40

Yep I'm a teacher!

ChocolateRaisin · 06/04/2017 17:41

Sore boobs have arrived here today too!

looby1304 · 06/04/2017 17:41

Sorry pressed post before I'd finished...

So far I'm doing ok at work, no one has noticed me being tired because it's the end of term so everyone is the same. And luckily I've not had any sickness at school (keeping my fingers crossed!) so I've not had to explain that either

BirdBrain85 · 06/04/2017 18:19

Hi all,

Congratulations to those who have just joined, and sorry to hear you're going through a rough time right now Ima and Zabe Flowers.

I work as a health visitor - so I'm always around lots of pregnant ladies and babies! It will be nice to finally look after my own baby now, after years of looking after other peoples :).

I'm 4+4 today and so tired, boobs are also starting to get sore and the need to pee is unreal!!! I was stuck in a meeting today and could have cried because I had to hold it lol. Also not enjoying the stretchy pains, they make me worry even though I've read it's fine...

Honestly can't wait until the weekend so I can SLEEP!

Marie90 · 06/04/2017 18:59

Zaber your current job sounds ideal for the first trimester!! Good luck though for your new job? Would you have to drive or train/bus to work? (May be worth investing in some sickbags) 😆

Looby that's useful that everyone around you is knackered too!! Are you planning on spending the next two weeks sleeping?! I'd definitely spend it in the duvet!

Yay, welcome to the sore boobs club weshouldopenabar and chocolate! I've been wearing a sports bra non stop for the last few weeks!

Bird i bet being around pregnant ladies and babies a lot made you really broody! If someone so much as walks past me on the street with a new born i melt!

And I'm a sports coach, doing a lot of work with children and adults with SEN and disabilities. Really good fun but I'm dreading being outed at work! Think I'm going to have to stop soon (checking with the doc next week), and you can guarantee Everyone will guess as soon as i stop coming in! So much for waiting until 12 weeks!

MotherofUnicorns · 06/04/2017 19:07

Hi, just on my way to tell dh.....
I'm also a teacher so thinking this times fairly well for a mat leave Xmas 17 - sept 18.....
My problem is I have a couple if boozy social occasions coming up and I'm either going to have to be honest (they're close friends so I can be...) or get out of them. There's nothing worse than being the only sober one and realising how annoying your friends are when they're drunk!! At least I have no weddings this year.....

satsoooma · 06/04/2017 19:10

aaah I am bleeding! what do I do? Do a call a doctor, or just count it as a period :(

Beardy1 · 06/04/2017 19:15

marie and looby this waking up early business is a killer. I had acupuncture today so I'm hoping that's helped. I think I'm also anxious about all this baby stuff as I also had a MC recently. Fx for a sticky one.

I'm a project manager on a fixed term contract so it's a bit scary agreeing mat leave etc. Luckily my boss is a bit of a legend and I've told her incase I have another MC. Although I'm exhausted so I'm starting to look and feel like the walking dead. How amazing for you teachers with the holidays coming up. Make sure you get lots of rest.

Beardy1 · 06/04/2017 19:15

Ps I'm also sorry to hear about the ladies having a tough time. Fx things work out.

looby1304 · 06/04/2017 19:24

unicorns I was also thinking that the timing has worked out quite well.
I'm dreading telling my headteacher, the other teacher in my year group is pregnant and due in September. I think I'm going to tell her straight after Easter because of midwife appointments even though I'll only be 8 weeks

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 19:27

Satsooma how much blood are we talking here? Colour? Consistency?

satsoooma · 06/04/2017 19:29

Red and definitely not spotting, but not floods/clots either. More like the start of a period, but a bit darker.

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 19:51

I'd call your doctor in the morning, unless you're in pain, in which case I'd think about the hospital.

Blood can be entirely normal, or from another source entirely like a cyst or an irritated cervix. Try not to panic. Flowers

satsoooma · 06/04/2017 19:53

I phoned the doctor just to be sure. She basically said there is nothing to do but wait and see. She said that if I was having a miscarriage, it would be two weeks before a pregnancy test would show anything different.

I was really pleased that I was feeling a bit better today, now I am just worried that it means I am miscarrying.

BirdBrain85 · 06/04/2017 19:53

Thinking of you satsooma. I did read that it's not uncommon to get breakthrough bleeding around the time your period would be due. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything is okay Flowers

Beardy1 · 06/04/2017 21:00

satsooma it's awful having to wait around. How many weeks are you?

Beardy1 · 06/04/2017 21:10

I Have a question for the group. I was just wondering if any of you are gym bunnies and love the weights? If so how are you finding it and are you carrying on? I'm currently really struggling but really miss my routine. Plus my acupuncturist told me to stop going now. It's just not something I will be able to do. It'd be nice to see what other people are doing in the first trimester.
