Hello all :) so just found out I am pregnant again :) had an early miscarriage in January and fallen on again, which is amazing. I am very anxious this time around and don't want to get too excited, but can't help myself. I also found being on here last time was actually a great help when it was taken away from me as people are so kind and it helps to talk, so if it does happen again I am in the right place xx anyway happy times now :) eeeeeek. Anymore early Decembers.
If there is already a group tell me and I can join that. X

I keep feeling sick, going dizzy, having hot flushes, weird dreams, all the symptoms but a negative :(

ChocolateRaisin · 06/04/2017 10:21

Flowers Imsuch

imsuchafool12345 · 06/04/2017 10:26

Just want to cry but can't :(

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 10:43

Update from me ... I guess Sad

Sudden gush of really dark red blood on Tuesday evening, soaked straight through my jeans. One sided pain still, went to the hospital and was kept in overnight. The scan showed a sac and a yolk, and a lovely big cyst on my ovary!

So, bleeding has now stopped, evidence of a pregnancy on the scan, HCG is going up but my progesterone has dropped. Another scan booked for next week, I guess we'll see what happens.

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 10:46

Imsuch I'm so sorry. Please don't give up hope. Flowers

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 10:47

And congratulations to all the new joiners Smile

imsuchafool12345 · 06/04/2017 10:48

I'm hoping it's just that I'm too early and that it was a crap cheap one

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 10:53

Ima it's entirely possible, I don't mean to give you false hope, but a friend of mine never had a positive pregnancy test! She didn't find out until she'd missed three periods and ended up having a scan. I guess her levels just rose at a slower rate.

I do think it may be worth getting some of the eBay cheap tests. You get 30 for £4.99 I think it is! There a lot more sensitive.

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 10:54

Ugh. THEY'RE...

imsuchafool12345 · 06/04/2017 11:00

With my son at 4 weeks it never showed up then so I'm hoping its that. The other tests came up with very faint lines.

Millie2008 · 06/04/2017 11:02

Ima, when's your period due?

Zabe, so so sorry. What an absolute trauma. Hang in there. Positive that the scan has shown the pregnancy, and at least the docs know what's going on... will they give you anything for it? Like progesterone? Sorry, out of my depth...

ChocolateRaisin · 06/04/2017 11:03

Imsuch how far along should you be by now?

Oh Zabe! You are not having an easy time of it so far. Did the doctors say what low progesterone means? Good that there is a pregnancy there and in the right place and HCG rising though? Keeping everything crossed for you, the waiting is hideous isn't it.

imsuchafool12345 · 06/04/2017 11:16

Due tomorrow but I'm so irregular so it can be any time and I should be about 4 +1

I'm sorry to hear how you're getting on. I hope it's good news in the long run

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 11:17

Thank you both Sad ugh. I just don't know why I ever felt so hopeful in the first place about it. I've just had a call about an interview as well, but I can't find the strength to return it and actually make any big life choices. The entire decision rides on whether or not I'm pregnant anyway.

They think the decrease in progesterone may lead to miscarriage. But no one can actually be certain about any of it. So I've just been sent home to well ... wait I guess.

Chamonix1 · 06/04/2017 11:36

Imsuch
I wouldn't worry just yet, as suggested order some one step tests they're cheap and sensitive. Fingers crossed for you.
Zabe Shock** sorry you've had such a crap time how awful. I hope you're okay (ish) got my fingers crossed for you too. This pregnancy stuff is scary, I was so naive the first time Sad

imsuchafool12345 · 06/04/2017 11:38

Getting my partner to do it now as I'm out. Trying to stay positive :)

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 11:54

Thanks Cham. I'd like to say I'm being really brave but to be honest ... I got DH to call in sick for me. I'm tempted to stay off until next Wednesday. I can't concentrate enough to put detergent in the washing machine, let alone do any work.

I've just done three loads before I realised Blush I need to redo the whole lot.

Chamonix1 · 06/04/2017 12:04

Oh zabe, I would've done the same.
Is there anyone about who can come and spend the day with you? Have you told anyone ?
I really wouldn't worry about the washing at the moment, do something for you.

ChocolateRaisin · 06/04/2017 12:14

Zabe I know how you feel. Definitely stay off work, pushing yourself won't help. I had to wait 4 weeks last year for confirmation of my mmc and most of that I was off sick as I just couldn't function. I pushed myself through the first week and then just couldn't. Hopefully you will get happy news on Wednesday and you can go back to work like normal.

Imsuch I will keep everything crossed for you. Could you request a blood test with your gp? If you had similar with your last pregnancy there is a chance that everything is fine I would have thought?

Marie90 · 06/04/2017 12:57

Thanks all! I think I'll make an appointment for Monday when I'll be 5 weeks!

Sorry you're struggling suchafool, I've got my fingers crossed that it's just too early to tell! Especially if you didn't get a positive at this time with you regarding son then hopefully it's just the same this time round!

Zabe I'm sorry you're having such a tough ride! I though that once all the TTC was over it would be a bit of a smoother ride but apparently not!! Look after yourself Flowers

I had no idea you get symptoms this early either.. suddenly today I've got a ridiculous sense of smell when i comes to people smoking and perfume!! Crazy!

Zaberwocky · 06/04/2017 13:00

Cham I haven't told anyone other than DH. I know I could, and probably should, but all of my friends are having such an amazing time of it at the moment and I don't want to take away from that. Equally, we've just moved here, and apart from work colleagues I really don't know anyone who isn't 3+ hours away. DH will be home soon, we've decided to head out for dinner for a bit of a distraction. I just feel so daft. I've been in this position twice before and coped fine.

Beardy1 · 06/04/2017 13:13

Hi everyone, hope I can join.

I'm 4 weeks pregnant today. Got my positive yesterday but kind of knew for about a week as I've had a few symptoms.

I spoke to my drs today and I have to wait till week 8 to see a midwife, the dr wasn't interested in seeing me.

I've also had the cramping that people have mentioned over the last 2 days but seems to be calming down a bit now. The worst symptom I have is leg cramping at night and sore boobs. I just can't sleep because of it. Has anyone else had that?

Marie90 · 06/04/2017 13:23

Hi Beardy!

I've not had the leg cramps but can definitely join you on the sore boobs front! I used to always lie on my front to sleep and just can't do it anymore so struggling to get a decent night's sleep!

I also seem to wake up really early (5am this morning!) For absolutely no reason! Do you have this as all?

satsoooma · 06/04/2017 13:30

Congratulations Beardy! I defeinitely had the sore boobs thing. No leg cramps, but I hear that is totally a thing in pregnancy. There might be things you can eat to try and minimise that. Stuff with magnesium I think?

satsoooma · 06/04/2017 13:33

Marie I have woken up at 4am every single day for over a week now. It is super annoying. At first there did not seem to be a reason and I could get back to sleep, but I was feeling hungrier every day, until eventually I just could not go back to sleep at all as I was starving.

I had to experiment, but force feeding myself 3(!) weetabix 15 mins before bed seems to have done the trick. I still wake up, but I can get back to sleep pretty easily.
