Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??

No problem CC. The first time I got pregnant I went to the doctors and felt a bit stupid, they were like "Err, what are you doing here? You need to see the midwife." I at least expected them to do a pregnancy test or something. But every area is different.

I think you can just private message your email address for the fb group otherwise you are posting your email address on a public page.

Thanks @BrummieGirl15 - I will watch out for your message. To start a FB group you have to invite at least one friend, so I will befriend you on FB (after finding you via your email address) and then we'll be rolling.

The downside is that FB isn't anonymous, but we'll only see each other (and no one outside will, as the group will be secret).

Sammie12 don't worry about your symptoms fading, they come and go all the time. Mine disappeared on Tuesday and I had a meltdown thinking it was all over but they came back with a vengeance.

Sammie12 my symptoms have been up and down too. Boobs not quite as sore but getting waves of nausea more often. My skin is breaking out too. I've had days with no symptoms too though. I think it's quite normal - I don't like it though!

I would have no idea how to start a secret Facebook group... although I use it for business all the time I have to admit that I'm still a little rubbish at it!

Rufus and I were part of MN Feb 16 babies and a Facebook group was started. We are still going strong and have 55 members in the group.

hello all. I'm feeling a bit fed up today, hormones are making me incredibly short tempered with my older DC which feels rubbish :( I'm also starting to feel really chubby/bloated (buttons are tight on my jeans already!

I know it's third time round for me, so my core muscles are a bit ahem... weaker... but is anyone else feeling for want of a better word, a bit flabby right now? I don't expect a bump for another 5+ weeks at least but the chubby/spotty stage is not my favourite bit. I have breakouts on my face and on my back!! Tell me I'm not alone in not loving this bit?

Am also reeling from how intense everything smells. And by intense, I mean rank.

Can I join? I've just found out this week and I'm terrified. Have DS 20 months. Had 1 mc before my DS and an early mc (CP - but I hate that term) last month. Been ttc no 2 for a year.

I'm not going to believe this is real until the 12 week scan.

Chocoraisin I feel just the same, my core muscles are pretty much non-existent second time around and I seem to already be getting a little pot belly! I have to confess I wore maternity jeans today, they are just sooooo comfy! I'm really quite worried about what is going to happen to my pelvic floor too and I've started doing the exercises already, I don't want to wee my pants every time I sneeze

Me too pingu and choc - tummy swelling and I'm only 4+3 (ridiculously early) but I feel further on.

Mind you I'm eating crap and not exercising! I'm going to have words with myself this weekend after one more day of biscuits

I knew I was pregnant at basically 3+ 1 before any tests due to how a very fresh egg tasted (vile). They're still tasting vile but that's it so far!

Got my first mid wife appointment in 6 days exciting eek

I went to all my midwife appointments on my own last time. The first one was quite long if I remember rightly...lots of questions and I don't think I really considered having dh there. I think he was a bit put out at the later ones as he wanted to hear the heartbeat but it just wasn't practical for him to be there, what with work and shifts.

I think I'm going to wait till 7 weeks to phone for midwife booking in appointment. I'm sure that's when I went last time. Can't come soon enough...I'm so impatient!

Facebook update: The current plan is for me to befriend Brummiegirl15 on FB and then we can create a secret group (it's not possible without inviting an existing FB 'friend').

Then I think we can invite others simply by email (in which case I'd ask you to PM me your addresses). Will update you when I get to that stage! :)
