Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

I'm joining cautiously.
Got my BFP yesterday, a day after AF was due. EDD 7th Nov.

I've been having cramps on and off since Thursday night. Bloating and sore/itchy boobs since 7DPO tipped me off to possible pregnancy as I had the exact same symptoms with DD. Can't remember being so crampy though. It's all in my back, bum and hips, not at the front like with AF. Still very intense, hence the caution!
Hopefully it's nothing more than stretching. Wont be telling OH until Monday when I'm sure it's not just a chemical pregnancy.

MrsB12345 · 04/03/2017 10:16

I'm defo the hormone monster. Got major road rage the other day and cried over nothing this morning. Am counting to 10 on a regular basic x

JulyLady7 · 04/03/2017 11:02

Fxd nohay, I hope it'll turn out to be harmless spotting. Especially as it's stopped.

Has anyone else got a really strong gag reflex when brushing teeth, it's unbearable!

NoHayMasQueHoy · 04/03/2017 11:15

Thanks guys. I know it's not over yet, I think I'm just trying to prepare myself in case it is.

@chocoraisin I also had bleeding on and off through the first trimester with my DD. And ironically no 'miscarriage' symptoms with my MMC either. So I should know better Hmm doesn't stop the worry though.

Oddsocksforeveryone · 04/03/2017 11:28

Oh good grief. About 20 min ago I was holding 7 month old dd and it felt like my organs flipped over. Honestly felt like I was instantly going to have an upset stomach and throw up. Im home alone with our 3dc today but it looks like beany baby just upped its game. Oh my days.

Unicorn and Nohay so sorry, hope it's false alarms x

MrsC2017 · 04/03/2017 11:57

nohay I really hope it's nothing, it's just a constant roller coaster, big love to you!

I'm at home trying to do some exam prep and I swear I'm going to puke everywhere, I feel so so so sick! AF is only due today so not sure why symptoms are so strong, I hadn't a whiff of one until 7weeks with DS

Moo31 · 04/03/2017 12:27

Hi ladies you seem like a lovely bunch :) hope it's OK for me to join! I got my bfp yesterday at 12dpo. This is our first and I am feeling very apprehensive / nervous / in a bit of a daze. We had been trying for 6 months. I think I'm 4+1 with a due date of 12 November. In terms of symptoms I'm very thirsty, sore boobs, tired, haven't got much of an appetite and I have like a crampy / twingy / heavy feeling in my tummy (which I am hoping is normal?)

Also i have read conflicting information on when and how people get their first midwife appointment. Should I contact my doctor on Monday?

Xo

booox · 04/03/2017 12:42

Hello, may I join?

I randomly tested last Thursday at 9 dpo according to FF and got a squinter! I think it was actually 10 dpo though. So AF would be due today. A stronger line today on an internet cheapie.

I'm 40, we have a ds who is 4.

Is anyone else feeling mild stabby pains?!

booox · 04/03/2017 12:47

Oh and EDD of 14th Nov.

AnyFarrahFowler · 04/03/2017 13:35

Congrats Moo! I just phoned my GP surgery and asked to make an appointment with the midwife. She asked about my dates and said the midwife likes to see you at about 8-10 weeks and booked me in there and then.
Congrats too Violet! Yep lots of stabby pains. Logically I know it's implantation / stretching pains but it can be a bit worrying sometimes. Normal though.

NoHay I have my fingers crossed for you x

No other symptoms here apart from a bit ragey - only when at work though so perhaps that's colleague-related rather than pregnancy-related!!

Moo31 · 04/03/2017 15:32

Thanks Any! :)
Violet - I'm having those stabby pains too - hopefully they are normal!?

booox · 04/03/2017 16:07

Thanks amy!

I hope so - I don't remember them with my first! But I think with #2 everything can be more sore (great!)

inkybunny · 04/03/2017 16:47

Welcome to the new ladies!

I just phoned by GP and asked to make an appointment because I'd had a positive pregnancy test. She asked how far along I was and I kind of babbled about, "well, not at all, really, I mean, I just missed my period but I know when I ovulated and..." and she cut me off and told me to come in this week - I think she might have just been desperate to get me off the phone!

My breasts are still so incredibly sore, and I'm going from not hungry at all to MUST EAT ALL THE THINGS NOW. Hence why I needed to stop at McDonalds for chips (my baby isn't even in the foetus stage and I'm already a bad mum!) on a one-hour shopping trip earlier. Oh dear.

AnyFarrahFowler · 04/03/2017 17:02

Literally just this afternoon I've started feeling sick. Great. Got an engagement do tonight and already had the task of avoiding questions about not drinking alcohol. Now I have to do that whilst hiding how nauseous I feel!

Porgey1 · 04/03/2017 18:23

Evening all! Welcome and congrats to the new joiners, it seems that early November is a popular time for a due date!

@VIOLETsunflower I had stabby pains along with stretchy cramps during the early stages of my my first pregnancy and had them again this time - I'm 4+6 now and the stabby pains have stopped and cramps slowed right down.

Sammie12 · 04/03/2017 18:36

@VIOLETsunflower, I was the same but the past 2 days they have eased off loads only really get them now if I have eaten too much lol or am sitting awkwardly!
Still have the need to pee every 5 mins and burping sick up after I eat anything other than green apples, salt &inegar Pringles or pickled onions lol
However have found that if I have a banana blitz with oats and milk in the am I have more energy and less icky feeling
Xx

booox · 04/03/2017 18:54

Thanks porgie and Sammie. I guess I worry it's a chemical though I don't usually get these symptoms before af.

Porgey1 · 04/03/2017 19:07

So glad it's not just me with with rage @MrsB12345 and @AnyFarrahFowler! Mine seems to come from nowhere and I go from calm and happy to instant rage and roaring! Gives me faith at least that it's sticking so far though!

lampfromikea · 04/03/2017 19:30

VIOLET completely in the same boat with the pains and worrying it's a chemical. OH made a comment about me being pregnant again (we were discussing whether to keep or bin my pregnancy pillow before we move) and I almost told him. So badly want to make sure that these pains are not AF, 3 days of them on and off now.

MrsC2017 · 04/03/2017 20:16

Nausea finally eased to be replaced by ravenous hunger!

elio · 04/03/2017 22:02

Hello, mind if I join in too? This is all being well DC two for us, we already have dd who is 18 months. Found out a couple of days ago on the day AF was due. So far second time around feels similar, tired but calm compared to pms with crampy feelings like something I going on in there. Last time around nausea kicked in at about six weeks, hoping it's different this time! X

MaryThorne · 04/03/2017 22:14

Hello! Can I join too? I got a BFP this morning, EDD 8th November (although first time my EDD was 12 days later after the scan than based on my period). I'm 40 and have a 3 year old DS.

I've been feeling bloated with crampy, stabbing feeling and am starting to get a bit tired. Last time from about 6 weeks to 20 weeks I was exhausted and had no energy, hoping I'm not going to be as tired this time Smile.

Phephenson · 04/03/2017 22:32

@nohay I'm spotting too but my tests are getting darker by the day and developing quicker. Hope you're ok. How are you doing @unicorn?

Can someone pin the spreadsheet pretty please for the newbies? I did try but nearly ended up changing the name of it - eek!!

blondmagnet · 05/03/2017 08:07

Hi I miss due roughly the 6th. This is baby 4 for us. Is there a secret fb group?
