Behold, the wonder of birth! Members from 6 weeks bfp to post-partum wonder Mamas! No question to grotty or minging.

We've come full circle from obsessing about cervical mucus to now obsessing if it's our vagina baby plug going! What larks!

Lots of talk about poo, ours and now babies too! Baby brain is REAL! From morning sickness in the first trimester to the third trimester struggle of getting out of bed ( "walrus-ing"in our house), to actual real babies who are growing so fast! Discussion on the merits of sleepyhead and Ewan the dream sheep. Now into teething and sleep regression, how to manage our mothers/MILs whilst being sleep deprived.

Sooo many gorgeous babies now! And equally lovely Mummy's! We are amazing! What a year! Can you believe it's been over a year since our first tentative TTC thread!? Look how far we've come!

Roll up for TTC #1 Grads!

Phew glad I passed haha

Feefeefs · 05/01/2017 17:18

Thanks for the clothes reassurances. Have added a best, the house tends to be kept warm but I was a bit confused about outside and she seems to tend towards being too hot. When I googled found loads of forums saying three weeks was too young to bring a baby out 😳. But no one in real life seems to think so. I'm really enjoying my walks after so long on the crutches so was a bit stressed thinking I was getting it wrong!! Didn't want to give up my walls!! Saw the Physio today got lots of excercises to repair/re-strengthen my pelvis she had to remind me I was only 3 weeks postpartum and to avoid too much, think I'm just so relieved to be able to walk again!!

Glad we don't have a nev imposter Smile

Tentatively starting to enjoy breastfeeding although need to keep working on latching on as A likes to have a gnaw occasionally! Or bobs on and off if she's farting at the same time!😳 HV tomorrow for another weight I wonder when I'll stop feeling anxious about it?!?

Mileymoocow · 05/01/2017 20:50

feef I was out with Harrison when he was 3 days. Done him no harm Grin

I'm up for a Facebook group if anyone can sort it out as I'm genuinely shit with that sort if thing!

H had his 3rd lot if injections today and is feeling really off. Got a temp and is sobbing his heart out when he's awake Sad

Welcome back dr! Glad to hear you're still about Smile

Hope you're having a lovely time indi

Sorry I'm so hideous at keeping up at the minute Blush

Mileymoocow · 05/01/2017 20:52

Also feefs, H clenched his teeth when he darts Grin good fun.

Mileymoocow · 05/01/2017 20:52

Clenches his teeth when he farts, as well... Blush

user1483473283 · 05/01/2017 20:55

Miley Bodhi was awful after his... temp 38.9 with 4 hourly calpol off his food green diarhoea... was back to normal after 48 hours.

Canters15 · 05/01/2017 22:09

V keen for a fb group, ditto my due date month having one, it's really good!

Why on earth can't you take a baby out before 3 weeks? We went to the pub on day 5, I was gagging for a pint!

Feefeefs · 05/01/2017 22:18

No idea couldn't find real advice just random forums and stupid American websites! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's bonkers

Sodasoda · 05/01/2017 22:29

Definitely bonkers feef! It drives me mad when people have said 'should you be out with a young baby?' (People HAVE said it too) what do they expect us to do? Hibernate for a year?! Winds me right up. Oh - and layers - A is wearing a vest and sleepsuit or a long sleeve bodysuit and cardigan (so basically 2 layers) indoors and outdoors we add a hat, warm snowsuit, blanket and then she's in a cocoon type thing in her pram.

Pink I think it was you that asked about milk? I've found the opposite - I've got a lot more milk now but that's because A is now up 3 times a night to feed! When she was sleeping through my milk definitely dropped off and I struggled a bit with supply in the evening.

I've been doing a bit of half hearted diet research. Never really dieted before except pre-wedding when I did the 5.2 and then a mad panic starvation diet. and thought that worked quite well for me but everything I've read seems to say you shouldn't be cutting down on calories drastically if you're bf. What's everyone else doing?

Glad you're having a fun holiday indi.

Welcome back nev, glad you're not an imposter Wink Waves to Lisa, miley, Dr and everyone else

Sodasoda · 05/01/2017 22:32

We've got 16 week injections on Monday. Nev and miley did your babies have similar reactions at 8 weeks? A was very upset and unsettled for a day or two after 8 week jabs but she didn't seem to get a fever. She was fine after the 12 week injections.

IrregularCommentary · 05/01/2017 22:32

I'll set it up - am stuck under a sleeping/dream feeding baby atm.

I need to have at least one person as a friend to add them. Miley I know your real name so will add you on fb if that's ok? Just accept me and then I can set up the group with you as an invited friend. Can work out the rest from there.

IrregularCommentary · 05/01/2017 22:36

Ok, can't add you Miley - your settings won't allow it.

Can someone pm me their info and I'll use that to set us up.

Sodasoda · 05/01/2017 23:28

Are people going to hang around here and do FB or just migrate over to FB?

AudreyBradshaw · 05/01/2017 23:38

I'll be here, ill do both (if I can work out how to log out of dh's hotmail to create a new email for me to create a new Facebook account. I've not had facebook for over 3 years and it's time to start anew!

Mileymoocow · 06/01/2017 08:20

irregular wonder why you can't add me! I could add you if you like? Unless audrey has managed!

soda I'm still eating 2000cals but healthier diet. H is pretty much the same after his 16week as his 8 - hysterical, temp, sleeping a lot Sad hope A manages fine.

nev ah poor little fella! I'm not as sensitive to H having his jabs as I was at 8 weeks but it's still not nice to watch. I hope this is only 48 hours as he was off for days and days last time and I'm far too tired for that.

Got my mum back for another MRI today. Hope this is finally going to get us some answers

IrregularCommentary · 06/01/2017 08:32

Go for it Miley

user1483473283 · 06/01/2017 09:28

Soda he was completely fine after 8 and 12.

Miley sounds exactly like Bods poor boy. He improved a lot after 24 hrs so hopefully you will see the same today.

With facebook I am happy for people to add me personally if you follow me on instagram that gives my name anyway Smile

LisaTheSimpson · 06/01/2017 10:04

Irregular - I've PM'd you my real name. Want to add me on FB?

I'm happy to do both - FB group and here Smile

user1483473283 · 06/01/2017 10:41

Even logged in through my laptop it won't let me change my username Sad i am stuck as user 1234445 whatever forever haha

LisaTheSimpson · 06/01/2017 10:53

Don't worry Nev, we won't forget it's you! Smile

IrregularCommentary · 06/01/2017 11:16

Ok, group is up. Pm me your real name if you want in and I'll let you have the group name to request access.

IndiX · 06/01/2017 12:44

Hi ladies!
Sorry to hear about the poorly babies after their jabs. A has hers in a few weeks and I'm not looking forward to it. She seemed fine after her 12w though!

Re: fb group I'm deffo up for bothGrin we'll all have to re introduce ourselves as I won't have a clue who anyone is😆
I can't PM as I'm only using the app to post but my name is India Taylor

IrregularCommentary · 06/01/2017 13:24

Ah ok.

Well group name for anyone wishing to join is TTC#1 The Grads Get Social.

It's a closed group to make sure it's private so I won't accept any requests unless I've been given the name through this thread or via pm. Hope that's ok!

Mileymoocow · 06/01/2017 16:45

indi Autumn will be fine Smile H is back to normal already, shouting at his purple butterfly on his playmat... lovely name by the way, India was one of our girl choices Grin

irregular I've requested to join. I'm Mollie, as you already know Smile

Feels so weird to become Facebook official. Bonded by sickness, heartburn, sleepless nights and baby shit Wink

Mileymoocow · 06/01/2017 18:52

Why is my OH completely fucking incapable of preventing H from crying for 20 minutes while I have a bath? Hmm I'm finding myself getting pissed off with him again. And his parents.
