We maxed out our last thread before starting a new one.
I'm not savvy like kitkat so can't post our list either! Hopefully there will be some ba's before this thread is completed.

Congrats bump and daisy. Lovely to see more safe arrivals x

Thisisbonkers · 01/12/2016 22:53

bigfam sneezing it out is my birthing plan Grin

I've spent a really uncomfortable evening at a friend's house. She's convinced it's on the way. 40 week midwife appointment in the morning so will see what she has to say. I didn't realise my belly going hard is braxton hicks, I was expecting them to hurt, turns out I've had a few!

Nojo82 · 01/12/2016 23:02

I was the same grey. I hadnt realised that theres like 2 cycles, hot water then add powder then the cold water goes in. So glad i got it out before baby arrived, dont think i would have the energy to fight with it.

OrianaBanana · 01/12/2016 23:03

It's getting so real with all these babies turning up!

I'm not sure if I want one now.. it's so nice and peaceful being on maternity leave with DS at school, can't help thinking a baby will just be so much hassle!

Growingbeanno2 · 02/12/2016 00:55

Well, nothing like an exciting late night trip for monitoring! Just got home after freaking a bit with a quieter than usual baby!! Now freaking as 1. Midwife asked if I was having tightenings so of course now I'm convinced I am!! And 2. Friend on call has not answered heads up text of fb message. Didn't phone as was not real thing and went in alone with DH waiting panicing and looking after DS but still, bit worried shell sleep through calls!! Darling parents are 2 hrs away so counting on her for babysitting! Eeek

Congratulations to those who popped. On the ward there was a lady having obvious contractions, I'm hoping they're not catching!!

Bumplovin · 02/12/2016 05:00

Little Sophia has had a good night, slept from 10.30 until 2.40 woke for a feed and is still asleep haven't heard a peep from her. Mummy on the other hand is sweltering on the ward it's like a sauna- pack a hand held fan peeps and strappy tops!

Lovewatchingrainfall · 02/12/2016 05:59

Wow bump that sounds like an amazing sleep for a newborn let's hope she keeps it up.

Did not think to pack a fan. (Goes off to find a fan) hope you managed to sleep

Calicocurtains · 02/12/2016 07:17

Wow congratulations on all the new arrivals so exiting!
I've got my last day at dork today, 30 chocolate Santas ready to give out at end of the day and 6 scented candles for my teaching assistants- it's going to be emotional!
Just hoping baby will stay out for a while so that I can sleep!

Calicocurtains · 02/12/2016 07:17

Put* not out!

DartmoorDoughnut · 02/12/2016 08:53

Having my hair done this morning in preparation for not having it done for months Grin

StubbleTurnips · 02/12/2016 09:58

Congrats on the new arrivals!

I was supposed to be having a restful day today but am currently holding a very heavy DD who is chucking up everywhere, she was up every hour through the night. It's going to be a long day Sad

SouthDownsSunshine · 02/12/2016 12:08

Oh no stubble :( the vomiting bug seems to be prolific at the moment, I hope you avoid catching it.

We're hoping to go home from scbu tomorrow :) I can't wait to get home and start normal life! I had dd in with me last night and she woke for feeds at 11, 12, 1 - I wasn't impressed! But then she went through until 3.30, and I had to wake her for a feed at 7.30. So I got some sleep at least.

Bigfam · 02/12/2016 17:38

How is your dd now stubble I hope you manage to avoid catching it too.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow south glad you managed to catch some sleep in the end. I'm getting really annoyed with all these niggles, seem to be in a constant state of discomfort! 😒

Ah thanks for checking! Ended up at the GPs, she woke up and puked again around lunch time. When she went for a wee she was bent over in pain crying her bits hurt so got her to the GP in case it's a UTI, she was led on the bathroom floor sobbing Sad. No signs of UTI thank goodness.

Got home and we've both slept all afternoon, she can keep water down now so that's good - going to give her some diarolyte before bed.

I feel like a walking zombie, can barely keep my eyes open.

Londonmamabychance · 02/12/2016 17:45

Cobgrats Bump and Daisy! Amazing!
But a bit Of a shockwave, eh, Daisy.
Glad it all went well.

38 + 5 and soooo tired and uncomfortable. So hard to accept the amount of rest I really need. My mum is here and being quite helpful with DD, but still beating myself up about all the stuff I should be doing! Managed to get all Christmas presents in one go yesterday, wandered round Oxford Street and Regents for hours, was bloody exhausting but got me in the Christmas spirit 🎄It's so great to have Chrisymas babies!

Londonmamabychance · 02/12/2016 17:46

Just meant shock, not shockwave!

Bigfam · 02/12/2016 18:00

Poor little thing 😞 & you too stubble it's tiring looking after toddlers as it is, but when they're poorly it's horrible for everyone. Glad you got a bit of rest & hopefully you can both have a fairly decent night too. For some unknown reason I was awake from 12am-4am, so the older 3 are having a cinema night with do and coming downstairs so I can get some sleep upstairs with the youngest.
Well done for getting so much done london 🌟

Thanks bigfam, enjoy your hopefully peaceful night too!

London well done on the big chrimbo shop.

Anyone having any signs of impending labour? Extreme fatigue / tiredness can be a sign, so I'm crossing my fingers.

OrianaBanana · 02/12/2016 21:22

I've got a horrible cold and keep getting mild period pains but I'm only just 38w so not holding my breath (yet!)... No other signs.

Lovewatchingrainfall · 02/12/2016 21:36

No signs here either I'm 38+3 and had my 1st sweep. They told me not to expect anything to happen. Another one booked for next Friday.

I am just fed up with being so tired now and having no energy. I somehow managed to fall asleep while eating my soup earlier, to which both my DH and DD who is 3 found so funny.
Have at least finished my Christmas shopping just to wrap it all at some point.

goinggrey1978 · 02/12/2016 21:57

StubbleTurnips, i've been extremely tired today, tearful, crying at daft things along with bad back ache, period pains and generally feeling totally uncomfortable, i had a sweep on Monday and i've another booked for this Monday too!

Bigfam · 03/12/2016 00:53

We've just bought huge sacks for their presents to go in, I honestly can't be dealing with the drama of wrapping presents just for the house to end up knees deep in paper Christmas morning.
Awake again, for God's sake 😖
