Hi Debbsy

Nice to hear from you again. Know what you mean about the soreness - I have had some real painful episodes - they just don't seem to go anywhere [sigh]. Being induced is not what I want - but at least its progress. Hopefully if I have anymore bibbys it'll be a lot more straightforward. I'm still in my night clothes here as I keep popping back to bed for a nap (can't get comfortable on the sofa) - but mum reckons I should go for a little walk later on. She's reallly looking after me. Hope someone is looking after you too.

I think we both deserve to be spoilt for a little while before the big day.

See you soon LA

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 08/12/2006 15:02

Hooray - NJ has done it
Have a look at the birth announcements.

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 08/12/2006 17:36

Best of luck for tomorrow LA bet there's a tiny bit of you now thats getting excited isnt there? just think tomorrow evening you will probably be holding your lo. I will be thinking of you and cant wait for the birth announcement xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 08/12/2006 19:42

Debbsy - I reckon that as we have been matching other more or less pain for pain (I had quite a lot activity on Wednesday I just ignored it) - me being induced will kick start it for you - bet we pop out the LO at more or less the same time... You're already ahead on the natural developments...

See you soon LA

Charleesawmummykissingsanta · 09/12/2006 08:46

Good Luck for today LA and Debbsy i really am willing you to go into labour we really need a full team on the 'dark side!'

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 09/12/2006 10:37

Thanks Charlee xxx
What time are you going into hospitsl LA?

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 09/12/2006 11:17

Appointment is for 3.30pm (apparently it's a policy that all first time mums go in at the time - not sure why). Feel a bit nervous actually - took me ages to sleep again. On a more interesting development - I am having what I call 'precise' contractions. Not as random as before and about every half hour - maybe baby has realised that baby doesn't have as much choice as before ...

Telephone has been going almost non stop - luckily mum has been fielding most of the calls as I needed to have a nap. Having a bath now and then I'm just going to go over my bags for the umpteenth time to check I have what I need. We are also going to sort out the moses basket...

Excited and nervous ... hope you follow me shortly. LA

accessorizechristmas · 09/12/2006 20:57

hi debbsy, how overdue are you now?? you poor thing, i went over 11 days with ds1 and i was sooo fed up without having any of the hopeful contractions you've been having. i know you must be dying for him to come out soon, fingers crossed for you, you are not alone!! my new ds is 4 days old (10 days early to everyone's surprise) and I am already completely knackered, but just loving it/him. I know you've waited a long time for this little one and he has to come out soon...

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 10/12/2006 02:34

hi ac congratulations on the birth of your little boy im glad your enjoying every minute of it.

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 10/12/2006 11:25

Is there anyone there please? im in that much pain i can hardly type this ,started with 5 min contractions at 1am this morning, also had sickness and diahoe had 2 baths, cocodomol, nothing shifted these pains they were crippling me,phoned hospital they said i could come in if i wanted to but tey wouldnt give me anything else until labour was established and it sounded to her that i was still in early labour. The pain though now is excruiciating doubles me over i have had no sleep and they are not every 5 mins now they are getting longer, but is it right to be in this much pain?

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 10/12/2006 12:31

Update: on LA by DP.....

She has just had the second thing??? put up her contractions are now once every 10 mins....

1 More to go then a drip then its coming out through the sunroof... so what ever happens looks like we will have a lo by tomorrow at the latest.

She has tried to get internet access in the hospital to keep you all informed but at 30p a minute, seems a bit of a rip off to us.

LeBe · 10/12/2006 15:04

Hi, I know i havwnt been on for ages but hope you all remember me. Just wanted to let everyone know that my little boy arrived safely. He was born on 6th November (his due date!!!) and weighed 8lb 11oz. It all happened very quickly, i started at 6.00am and he was born at 9.45am so i was very lucky really considering he was my first. He will be 5weeks on Monday and i dont know where the time has gone, but he is doing well and is a very good relaxed baby (most of the time) and only really cries when he is hungry. I hope everything went well for everyone else and i would love to hear from anyone, its been horrible not having a computer to come on and check everyones progress. Take Care xx

fatbetty · 10/12/2006 17:00

Hi All and congratulations to all those who have had their babies. I haven't had a chance to catch up as we've had a stressful week. Madeleine has been in the hospital all week with bronchioitis. We just got home this afternoon and have never been so happy to get back home and back into our life again!

Off to relax and spend some time with DS1 and DS2 while the LO sleeps.

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 11/12/2006 21:12

i will look for your birth anouncement and see you on the post-natal thread!!

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 13/12/2006 13:38

Thanks all - Just had visit from MW - told her my concerns over BF, she asked me to show her what we did and lo and behold Taro latched on perfectly first time - hopefully it'll be easier from now.

Hattie - I didn't get a c-section - I dilated too far and fast for that... got epiosotmy - will tell all - it's just too scary to recollect at moment.

See ya
