Might be worth booking in for a GTT too, just to be sure. 8.0 is the upper limit in my hospital, tho interestingly if I was booked in at the other hospital locally, I wouldn't have been picked up as their upper limit is 8.3. Hope it turns out ok for you, it's no fun pricking my fingers 4 times a day!

My right boob has been sore again for the past couple of weeks and I've had some colostrum come out in the shower but no actual leaking. Never leaked with either DC until after they were born. Breastfed first for 5 months (with formula top ups) and second for 21 months (no formula). Hoping to do a year with this one all being well.

How naive am I! I've had white stuff on my left nipple for a few weeks now when i wake up, and had literally no idea what it was. This makes a lot more sense now....

Thanks!! Glad it's not just me with the currently non functioning boobs. I'll keep an eye on white stuff...

I've heard leaking can be more common with subsequent pregnancies, so I'm expecting it could happen towards the end. With your first pregnancy though I wouldn't expect any leaking.

Had my 28 week midwife appt this morning. She said my bump looks further along than I really am but is still measuring fine for dates? I'm a bit confused by this but she said the baby's size is fine and I just look bigger due to this being my third baby and second preganancy within a short time-frame. So I guess that's ok.

I totally forgot to ask her to weigh me- doh!

masie i think you get a 2 week lee-way. so if you are 28 weeks and measuring 30, thats fine, but if you are measuring say 31, they will refer you for a growth scan.

How did you get on at Drs Rufus?

I think what she meant was that visually (when standing) I look bigger. I suppose the total lack of stomach muscles must be the reason

Woo we've exchanged contracts :) moving 20th November.

I have 5 weeks left of work and three months till my due date! It's starting to feel real now!

Congrats jelly!! I had leaky boobs in first trimester but none now. My plan is to EBF till 9 months this time (with DH giving an expressed bottle). The only thing I have left to buy is a mendela pump. We'll see! I'm hoping it's easier second time around!

Baby has been moving around all day, so much so I couldn't work out if u was getting tightenings or if he was just being awkward. I got home feeling very strange, like something was missing but without knowing what. DH coaxed me into bed when I got home and just cuddled and stroked my hair (heaven) and then I had a nap. My bloods have come back and I'm a bit anaemic so maybe that's it.

Had another scan today, all looking good still, but coming up to the point where it all started to go wrong with DS so still feeling rather nervous.

I can't believe how much babies movements vary day by day - I've been trying to look for patterns like the MW says, but it really is different every day - not stopped all day today and seems to have found my bladder for a punchbag. Joys!

isla my glucose levels have been normal all day today, just need to do tonight's as ate dinner late. Dr thinks GTT are a waste of time, says only gives an idea of what is happening on that day, could get a neg result but have GD 2 weeks later. So I'm to test myself a couple of times a day for the next 2 weeks. 4 readings of 7 or higher in a week and I have GD. Been told to change my diet, reduce carbs and cut out sugar (no more mince pies). Even if normal readings in this 2 weeks will have to do random checks for rest of pregnancy

Not eaten any chocolate today, nearly killed me, not sure how I'm going to survive the building site crap without chocolate. I've put on 3 kgs in 4 weeks. So a total of 18kgs! Think I'm winning the most weight gain trophy!!! Maybe cutting out sugar is a good idea, my arse is the same size as my bump but at least I am balanced. Baby is measuring completely normal for dates. Got another 3D pic today, best yet, although he does look like he has a black eye.
