Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

jw35 I had the same faint positive and about 8 tests later including 2 CB I finally accepted that I'm pregnanct Smile. So big congratulations to you.

I've told my mum who has been great but not told oh yet because I want to wait until I see him next weekend and do it in person (we are doing the long distance thing lol). Also this pregnancy was not planned so it will be a shock, but we both want children at some point, are stable and so after the initial shock I expect him to be happy but also join me in the anxious 8 months wait especially because he's a GP he always worries more.

So now I don't know if i should just call him and tell him on the phone or wait another week? This will be a major change to our lives, so now I'm worried about it all, even thought I know he will be ok as we have talked about what I would do if I got pregnant. I feel weird talking to him on the phone knowing about the pregnancy and he has no clue Confused

Ps it will be baby #1 for him too and we are both 33.

Jw35 · 27/09/2015 09:34

Thanks! Very reassuring! My period would have been due today so I'm bricking it at the moment!

Amiseeingright I would just tell him on the phone! X

tigress23 · 27/09/2015 14:42

Hi everyone!

Thanks for starting this thread Smile

I just found out on Friday. I had my copper IUD out on 7 September and DH and I really didn't expect it to happen so quickly!

I took one test on Friday, faint BFP and nearly fainted myself. It was the middle of the day, so I did 2 more the following morning and they were darker.

This will be our first and we're both excited and nervous. I've been googling things (stupid woman, I know) and am really anxious to have the first scan and also just to get to 12 weeks.

So far only my DH, his mum and her partner and my 4 best friends know. I figure we'll need support either way.

I am exhausted, need to wee all the time (including getting up in the night, which I never do) and my breasts are bigger and very tender. I'm also really bloated and gassy (sorry, TMI)

According to the NHS website, my due date is 5 June.

nehagarg · 27/09/2015 16:02

Congratulations tigress ... And yes, step away from Google (easier said than done, I know. ??)

jbiscuits · 27/09/2015 16:28

Congratulations tigress!

I told my sister this morning, I think she's almost as excited as me! She assumed she was the first to know (I've already told a friend and my mum), but I didn't correct her as she was so pleased Grin

Anyone else already wading through baby name lists/books/websites?

Jw35 · 27/09/2015 16:50

Me! I have no idea what to call a girl!

belkins · 27/09/2015 17:17

Thanks for the welcomes!

The progesterone I'm on makes me exhausted and hugely bloated, apart from that I have NO other symptoms at all?! I did a CB digital and it came up 'pregnant 1-2wks' so I'm going to run with that as any normal tests have still been very faint - are all your tests getting darker now?

Not quite at the name stage yet, struggling to even accept there might be a baby in there Grin

nehagarg · 27/09/2015 17:46

Aaah well done jbiscuits. I am glad you told your sister. Smile

I am the same as belkins - having loads of trouble accepting that I am pregnant (apparently no amount of tests help) so quite a bit away from the baby name stage right now. Just spent the last half hour whining to DH that I dont feel pregnant! Poor thing, he cant understand the need to feel sore boobs and morning sickness. He thinks I have gone bonkers

Torfhinn · 27/09/2015 19:31

Welcome jw35 and tigress and congratulations on your BFP's!

I really didn't believe I was pregnant until I saw the bean on the screen last time. Even though I've done about 15 tests (seriously Hmm), I don't think I'll really believe it until I see it.

Choosing names is tough so we'll probably wait to find out the gender to make the job easier!

Just a bit tired here today, but then I've had a really busy weekend at work so still not sure what is pregnancy symptoms and what is just life Grin

AF due tomorrow so still part of me feeling that it will all be over this week - that's the pessimist in me.

Glad everyone is doing well, despite all the mad anxiety!

Torfhinn · 27/09/2015 19:33

Hello and congratulations to you too bugsyburge! Sorry, nearly missed your post!

tigress23 · 27/09/2015 19:44

Thanks everyone Smile

Congratulations to all of you too!

I have some ideas of baby names... But I haven't discussed any with the DH yet, who is currently calling it 'Destructathon'. I've told him he's welcome to call it that for 8 more months only...

I've not done any more tests cos I've run out of the cheap ones from Ocado (£1.49 for three tests!). I'm interested to know if anyone's line is darker, too.

jbiscuits · 27/09/2015 20:02

tigress be careful with that. I have friends who added their bump nickname as an extra middle name after their DC was born because it had stuck so much!

Baby names are very hard, hence why I feel I need to start now. Last time round we were still debating girls names whilst in labour in hospital (was very relieved DS was a boy!) I have a tendency to love a name one day then really dislike it the next, so its even harder. Ds's name is the only one I was sure of, and that's obviously now taken.

tigress23 · 28/09/2015 08:38

Jbiscuits, that's funny! Hopefully theirs was better than 'Destructathon' Wink

I've got a doctor's appointment after work today. I'm hoping this will help ease my mind a bit and stop me googling things

Torfhinn · 28/09/2015 09:51

Had a panic last night as i remembered about hypothyroidism and pregnancy (i have hypothyroidism). I've gone from being very relaxed and fairly chilled out to feeling quite anxious. Waiting for gp to call to discuss medication increases/blood tests, but i don't really believe they know what they are taking about when it comes to pregnancy so I'm armed with my own research. I hope everyone is having a good Monday.

AmIseeingRight · 28/09/2015 09:53

tigress23 lucky you, not seeing my gp until Wednesday when I will be 5 weeks - then only 35 more to go lol. Blush

MadrigalElectromotive · 28/09/2015 10:03

Hello everyone! I got a BFP this morning after a long journey to get here, so I am very excited but also a bit apprehensive because I have had a mc in the past. FX this is a sticky one! Smile

No one else knows yet. DH left this morning for a work trip and won't be back until Wednesday evening, so I won't be telling anyone until I have told him. It is going to be hard keeping it a secret from him but I want to do it in person!

My due date is 5th June. Smile

Jbiscuits, baby#2 due 1st June 2016
Nehagarg, Baby#1 due 2nd June
AmIseeingRight, baby#1 due 2nd June 2016
Torfhinn, Baby#2 due 6th June
Boatyroo, Baby#1 due 2nd June
MadrigalElectromotive, Baby #1, due 5th June 2016

MadrigalElectromotive · 28/09/2015 10:11

Oh, and I keep having cramps like my period is about to start so I am a bit worried about that. Confused

nehagarg · 28/09/2015 10:55

Congratulations Magridal ... I have had a few cramps off and on too. I think its normal. Smile

Torfhinn ... My GP didn't even know what a missed miscarriage was. Feverishly started to google. I was like Hmm ... I can do THAT!

1 more day to go until I have well and truly missed my period! Maybe then I'll relax (famous last words)

Anyone else on here with absolutely NO symptoms? I am beginning to freak out a little at the lack of symptoms. Had sore boobs last time but zippo this time! Sad

OP posts:
MadrigalElectromotive · 28/09/2015 11:04

I have no symptoms at all nehagarg - I only did a test because my period was a couple of days late and I thought I should rule it out. It has taken so long I just didn't even contemplate that I could actually be pregnant. Shock

tigress23 · 28/09/2015 11:07

Congratulations, Madrigal, we're due date buddies Smile

I read that cramping can be ligaments and muscles in your abdomen stretching to accommodate your growing uterus. As long as the pain isn't severe, it's normal

MadrigalElectromotive · 28/09/2015 11:15

Thanks tigress congratulations to you too. Lovely to have a due date buddy on the thread already. Smile

Thanks for the reassurance about the cramping. I will try to stop worrying!

I am so annoyed that DH has gone away. I really want to tell him!

nehagarg · 28/09/2015 11:21

Aaaah, glad to have someone who doesn't have symptoms either Madrigal ... This early on, every little twinge or lack thereof, makes you worry ... Welcome to the thread. Are you going to plan something fun to tell DH?

I wanted to, but just ended up blurting it out (while he was on the phone to someone) ... Grin

OP posts:
AmIseeingRight · 28/09/2015 11:46

Congratulations and welcome.

I've had the mild cramps/pressure on and off, they are hardly noticeable & not severe & no blood/discharge, so I started relaxing. Last week I worried when they happened & worried when they stopped so i know the feeling of being anxious.

It's now sunk in and I'm excited about telling Oh this weekend. I even found a funny card online that I might give him and then we can talk.

I'm at work and can't wait for next 3/5 weeks to my 1st scan

AmIseeingRight · 28/09/2015 11:58

Ps my symptoms are insomnia at 4am and sore/ sensitive boobs - nothing else and honestly I hardly believe i'm pregnant but long may it continue coz my mum told me she has horrendous morning sickness with both me & my brother and it's lasted all throughout her pregnancies. But I read it kicks in around week 6 so will cross that bridge when I come to it. Hopefully I will bypass that bridge Smile
