Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

And so the insomnia begins .....

Fiddledeedeee · 09/10/2015 04:17

This thread moves too quickly - and I'm 7 hours ahead so I'm asleep when all the chatting happens and I miss the conversation!

Re: telling people, I told lots of people when I was pregnant last time, then had to tell people that I wasn't when I miscarried. But actually it was quite comforting, because loads of people said 'yeah that happened to me too' and it made me feel less alone, and also less like I wouldn't go on to have another healthy baby. Haven't told many people this time but I have a scan booked for two weeks time when I will be 6 weeks + and will hopefully hear the heartbeat. I may tell a few people then. However, I will never put a scan pic on facebook because just after my unhappy scan I logged on and that's what I saw, and it was quite upsetting at the time.

I've just converted my UK licence and had to watch a horrific road safety video with loads of dead bodies and it made me feel very emotional and quite queasy - not good for a newly pregnant person!

Sorry for those of you who are suffering with proper morning sickness, must be rubbish.

tigress23 · 09/10/2015 08:10

The video sounds awful, fiddledeedee, it would definitely make me feel sick!

ToInfinity · 09/10/2015 08:14

Can I join! This is my first ever Mumsnet post!
Got my BFP on Sunday, due on 12th June. Had a mc in May so feeling v excited but a bit anxious!

I'll add my stats to the list once I work out how!

tigress23 · 09/10/2015 08:17

Welcome, tolnfinity, and congratulations Smile

Kajamite · 09/10/2015 08:35

Oh dear fiddledeedee that's making me queasy just reading about it, it sounds horrible!

I'm not really sure when's a good time to tell my boss. I don't really have symptoms just now but I don't know how much longer that will last!

BiffleRoo · 09/10/2015 08:41

Welcome ToInfinity and fiddle that's gross Confused

JellyBaby26 · 09/10/2015 08:56

So very very tired but dd thinks it's acceptable to wake at 5 and refuse to go back to sleep. Ugh

lemonslemonslemons · 09/10/2015 09:20

I am having a down day. I work part time and recently have had no energy for it nor patience for the people I work with. I feel sick, exhausted and slept so frigging badly last night. My boobs are killing me so I can’t lie on my front and my lower abdomen feels tender so can’t lie on either side (it also feels like my organs are already shifting because I get uncomfortable really easily just sitting down). Also my head hurts. And I’m constipated. And my back hurts.

I don’t quite understand how I can be having so many issues already?! Could it be that it is because it’s number 2??

So sorry to moan. Can’t talk to anyone in RL about it!

LondonGirl83 · 09/10/2015 09:27

Ladies, is it normal for symptoms to come and go? I am 5 weeks 2 days and for most of this week my boobs have hurt but now they are feeling normalise again. I still have stretching pains in my abdomen but as this is my first pregnancy everything worries me to death!

nehagarg · 09/10/2015 09:32

fiddle .. Thats nightmarish stuff!

LondonGirl ... mine come and go. Yesterday I had to go home from the office because it was so cold and my nipples were killing me. Today, my boobs feel absolutely fine. But this is my first too.

lemons ... Sounds horrible. I am so sorry you are so uncomfortable. Good idea to just curl up inside a duvet and put your head down.

I feel sick again. I managed some toast and ginger tea earlier this morning but now I feel very nauseated. Yesterday it went away at half 3... Fingers crossed that it abates earlier today. How am I supposed to grow this baby if it won't let me eat?

LondonGirl, my boobs have been very sore since before I found out but today they feel a bit better. Perhaps this symptom comes and goes?

I'm 6 weeks today Smile

lemonslemonslemons · 09/10/2015 09:41

To those of you who are worrying about sickness:

When I was pregnant with DD( my only other pregnancy), the Dr diagnosed me with hyperemesis. I was signed off work for 8 weeks and I lost 21lbs in the first 16 weeks of the pregnancy. I was admitted to hospital once and was on anti-sickness meds from very early on. I was terrified that the constant voming and wretching would damage the baby or starve it. She was born at 42 weeks and weighed a whopping 9lb 5oz!!

Be encouraged that they are really very hardy little things.

tigress23 · 09/10/2015 09:59

Thanks, lemons! That makes me feel better Smile

nehagarg · 09/10/2015 10:09

Good to know lemons ... Because I seem to have gone off food today. I dont feel sick but dont want to eat at all.

PrincessPunzie · 09/10/2015 10:25

LondonGirl I am also 5+2 and my boobs feel less sore today - they are still tender if I poke at them, but up until yesterday I was having to cup them in my hands just to go downstairs (looked bloody ridiculous!)

I bought poppy seeds and sesame seeds in Tesco today because I wanted to see the size of my baby at 4 and 5 weeks. I could end up with an interesting food-based collection if the online week-by-week analogies continue along these lines...

Congratulations on your BFP ToInfinity!

LondonGirl83 · 09/10/2015 10:31

Thanks everyone, that's reassuring! They were still sore in spinning this morning but then I felt much better. I don't know if excercise helps with symptoms.

PrincessPunzie · 09/10/2015 10:39

London I have been struggling with the "running" hand position in spinning due to the boobs situation, the first time I climbed up into hand position 2 yesterday I actually visibly winced! I got used to it as the class went on though. Actual real-life running doesn't seem to be cause the same problem at all.

Torfhinn · 09/10/2015 10:48

Welcome Toinfinity, congratulations on your bfp and your first mn post!

Sore lower right abdomen today, i think i pulled a ligament getting back into bed this morning but it's still worrying me because it's fairly constant Sad

I really don't want to be at work today, feeling slightly sick, very tired and cos of the pain, so I'm being 'busy' at the moment Smile

JellyBaby26 · 09/10/2015 10:55

Something I suffered with last time was my eyesight. I have noticed this morning it's gone to shit again.

Serves me right for watching come dine and craving potato skins at 10am

nehagarg · 09/10/2015 11:59

Eyesight? Thats a new one jellybaby and probably the most scary one! Shock .. What happens?

OP posts:
MadrigalElectromotive · 09/10/2015 12:13

Sorry you're feeling grotty Torfhinn. Hope the pain settles down soon and your colleagues have the good sense to leave you alone!

I am 6 weeks today, which is a nice little milestone to have reached. Won't stop worrying ever until the 12 week ultrasound is done though.

God, I had no idea that pregnancy could affect your eyesight! What next?!

LondonGirl83 · 09/10/2015 12:32

You teeth and gums as well apparently! At least we get free dental care while expecting...

JellyBaby26 · 09/10/2015 12:58

Yeah it's water retention I think!

Everything is so blurry.

There are so many delights of pregnancy.... Everyone is affected differently though Smile

LucilleLeSueur · 09/10/2015 12:59

I don't! Just moved to Ireland and have to pay for most things. Also not here long enough to be able to claim on health insurance due to bizarre system of waiting lists etc :(
