Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

tigresss I do not share your craving for orange juice. I had some yesterday and after a mouthful felt as sick as a parrot.

I've never really experienced cravings (beyond my normal day to day life!) in pregnancy before. However, today I found myself thinking about the plain crackers that circular, sold in a white packet with gold writing. I hardly ate them when we lived in Glnad, but now when I can't get them, that's what I want! Then again, it's probably not pregnancy cravings, just me!

bikingintherain · 08/10/2015 12:32
  • England, not some crazy in the middle of the world place you've never heard of!
Kajamite · 08/10/2015 12:41

biking I actually thought that Glnad might have been a Welsh town when I looked at it Blush

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 12:46

Bikingintherain, I am a horrifically bad typoer and, as such, I speak typoese fluently. I understood it was England Wink

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 12:48

Biking, also, I will send you crackers in exchange for Dutch cheese... That lovely old one which is aged 18 months Wink

bikingintherain · 08/10/2015 13:07

A conversation about cheese and crackers. Suddenly it feels like we're in Wallace and Grommit territory.

Kajamite That's hilarious! But utterly understandable. I went to uni in Wales and it was a common game to spot the freshers who couldn't pronounce anything correctly. (And yet bring a Welsh person into the conversation and it turns out we weren't doing too well either.)

CRAP!! I just dropped my phone and smashed the screen. Arrgghh!

nehagarg · 08/10/2015 13:12

Oh no! Shock

I love being smug when DH breaks things but I rarely do. So now not only do I not have a phone. I also do not have the moral high ground.

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 13:16

Oh no! I'm sorry about your phone, bikingintherain. Maybe it can be fixed?

bikingintherain · 08/10/2015 13:20

Maybe... but I suspect not. The screen is completely shattered. If you try and use it you get bits of screen coming off on your finger. Although I suppose I might be able to get a replacement screen. I'm on google now!

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 13:36

That's what I meant, a replacement screen. Many shops here replace them in store. What phone is it? I can tell you if it will be easy to fix or not (I used to work in mobile phones)

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 13:38

I'm feeling sorry that I wished for morning sickness. I feel really rough. All I've eaten today is a small bowl of cereal (half of which I threw back up) and a litre of orange juice.

bikingintherain · 08/10/2015 13:38

IT's an Samsung S3mini, I've just found a replacement screen on Amazon and a youtube video clip showing how it's done. Do you think I'll be able to do it easily?

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 14:05

I think so, biking! It might be a bit fiddly, but it's definitely doable Smile

bikingintherain · 08/10/2015 14:35

Well I'm going to give it a whirl. How hard can it be?!?! (Give me a few days and then I'll be on here with pregnancy hormones and tears of frustration!)

Thanks for you help tigress!

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 14:50

You're welcome, biking! I'm sure you can do it Smile

mrsmugoo · 08/10/2015 16:01

Scan appt on Saturday 24th whoop! I'll be 7+2. Will finally start to believe it's real then Grin

JellyBaby26 · 08/10/2015 16:11

I don't want to bring things down and be morbid but please think seriously about telling people.

I announced everything on Facebook etc etc after our scan and a lot of people knew before, and then she was born very very sick and we were told she would die.

At the time everyone was messaging me saying "have you popped yet" which was heart breaking as you can imagine as she had, and she was lying lifeless in an incubator :(

Needless to say we aren't telling a soul this time!

Just saying - be careful!

I am craving...all foods. no change there!!

BiffleRoo · 08/10/2015 16:20

jelly I'm really sorry to hear about your experience but most people want to share their news with friends and family not keep it a secret for 9 months. Whilst I have no intention of putting it all over Facebook it's my friends and family I would turn to in the worst possible situation.

JellyBaby26 · 08/10/2015 16:29

oh i totally understand! I sort of wish i hadn't written that post as I'm sure ill get slated for it but its just something to be mindful of.

We will tell family and close friends, in time of course.

I will not mention it again. i just worry about others.

Anyway, on a lighter note. i have just burnt 4 flipping pieces of toast as I'm so distracted, but So hungry!

BiffleRoo · 08/10/2015 17:02

Appreciate what you meant jelly wasn't meant to slate you and sorry if it came across that way. It must be the worst thing in the world to go through and I can't even begin to imagine.

I'm trying to cook dinner without throwing up!! Hmm

mrsmugoo · 08/10/2015 17:05

I didn't announce on Facebook first time round, we made a point of telling people we wanted to know the good old fashioned way.

JellyBaby26 · 08/10/2015 17:08

I think i wouldn't mind morning sickness as i could do with shifting a few pounds but then the thought of throwing up.....think id rather be chubby!

BiffleRoo · 08/10/2015 17:11

Facebook didn't exist when my DDs were born so we told people important and then sent out good old fashioned birth announcements when they arrived.

I don't plan on announcing it on FB this time but I won't hide it either.
