Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

Violet after spending a couple of days not been able to eat much, I'm now just like you, I want to eat all the time and when I'm not eating feel slightly sick. The tiredness is also getting to me now.

nehagarg · 08/10/2015 08:04

Welcome Kajamite and Clockstooticky. Congrats. This is beginning to become a decent sized group. I love how we are all climbing up the June calendar.

Sorry to hear about your mc clockstooticky ... Hope this one sticks like super glue.

I am cross with my colleague too but I do understand why she doesnt get it. She is one of those excited if she sees an ant and sad if the ant drops its sugar, kind of a person. Plus she has never been pregnant. Having known about pregnancy from movies and books - To her pregnancy is a time of joy. What she doesnt get that it isnt after a mc. I'll talk to her again and say I am fine to go out for dinner or something if she likes but to not mention the B word until I say its okay to. So far only our parents know and my boss since my job requires travelling and heavy lifting. She probably guessed since I spend half my time in the loo and the other half eating. Grin

jbiscuits - couldnt you put DH on duty for a day? Smile

In fairness Nehagarg he is having DS on his own all day Saturday, but that's because I'm out for the day, so no chance for naps.

I did ask him if he'd take DS to work with him this morning, but he didn't seem to think that would go down too well for some reason Confused Grin

BiffleRoo · 08/10/2015 08:47

I must admit I'm finding it harder this time round as all 3 previous pgs I was working but being home with a toddler is exhausting at the best of times. I'm also a dog walker and fitting walks in while all I want to do is sleep and/or throw up is not easy. Roll on weekend when DH is home to help and no dogs to walk.

BiffleRoo · 08/10/2015 08:59

Anyone else getting stretching pains in their sides a bit like a stitch? It's just on my left side and really uncomfortable. Sure I remember this from last time.

mrsmugoo · 08/10/2015 09:20

Yeah it's round ligament pain. I haven't had it yet - haven't had anything yet haha!

nehagarg · 08/10/2015 09:33

Mrsmugoo .. It'll probably hit one of these days. I have friends who didnt have anything to begin with and then it hit them like a brick!

I feel a bit deprived too because I don't have any morning sickness or nausea. Only while pregnant can you feel deprived of such things .. Confused Grin

jbiscuits ... Sounds extremely tiring. Hope it lifts up soon.

My friend came up with the perfect cover for me for why I'm not drinking: say you're doing stoptober. Only works for this month, though!

Belvedere · 08/10/2015 09:48

Stoctober is be perfect excuse! Last time I was this pregnancy was January so I pulled the no drinking in January card.
Now I'm more boring than I used to be I don't go out very much and I've told quite a lot of people already... Well only people that I would tell if it didn't work out anyway.

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 09:53

Belvedere, no drinking in January is also the perfect excuse. we've told quite a lot of people too--all our family and close friends, as we'd need their support if something went wrong anyway, but I don't want work finding out yet and there will be drinks after work today which I was meant to go to (have stayed home instead due to nausea/exhaustion), so we came up with this excuse. I guess I don't need to use it after all, though!

lemonslemonslemons · 08/10/2015 09:56

YES Biffle! So glad I'm not the only one! It has eased off now but I've been getting it on my right.

AmIseeingRight · 08/10/2015 10:03

Good morning ladies
congratulations & welcome to all

Its 6 weeks today Smile half of 1st trimester done, which is exciting and cant wait for the next 6. Kinda sad that i'm just trying to rush these first 3 months but i just want to get through this phase and on to the next one. My anxiety had lessened and feeling normal, but don't want to get too excited.

so far I've told my OH, mum, little brother (mum wanted to tell him to have someone to talk to about my pregnancy lol they both excited and still in disbelief as I did not seem to be in any rush to have kids) - and 2 work colleagues.

So far my symptoms are not so bad, I get the odd cramps/pressure, sore/tender boobs, afternoon fatigue and now I have minor nausea in the afternoon, like feeling car sick. I'm also hungry all the time and cant stop yawning, no matter how much rest i get.

MadrigalElectromotive · 08/10/2015 10:11

I feel the same way AmI - I just feel like I want to get past the first trimester so I can start to relax a bit.

I have woken up this morning with spots in weird places - on my boobs and inside my nose. Confused Why?!

tigress Stoptober is a great idea!

I haven't told anyone yet. DH doesn't get on with his parents at all, and I want to get a bit further along before I tell mine. So the only other person that knows, apart from us and the GP surgery, is my boss, who I told last week after I fainted at work.

PrincessPunzie · 08/10/2015 10:49

I'm going out for lunch with my brother and sis-in-law on Sat and was wondering about telling them I'm going "sober for October" (well it isn't a lie!) But once when I actually did give up alcohol for a month he asked me straight out "Are you pregnant?" and I suspect he will again so I won't lie about that.

I got my midwife pack yesterday and managed to stress over the form-filling and them asking how much I was drinking pre-pregnancy. I know it was more than the government guidelines but I'm pretty sure the important thing is that I've stopped now. There was also so much literature in the pack about all the possible things that can be wrong with a baby that I spent most of last night wondering how anybody ever brings a healthy foetus to term! Anticipating my first midwife meeting to be all judgmental and doom-laden now. Good grief, roll on December and the 12-week mark!!

Welcome to the newbies, congrats on your bfps Smile

Mrspopper · 08/10/2015 10:53

Am also using the stoptober excuse. Love it.

mrsmugoo · 08/10/2015 11:26

As for drinking - my whole family know I have been pretty much cutting out all booze for ages to lose weight and because I was TTC. If I continue to be teetotal they won't bat an eyelid - which is great!

nehagarg · 08/10/2015 11:29

Anyone else have ballistically painful nipples when they are cold? We have just moved to a new office and havent sorted out all the bits yet so its actually colder in the office than outside! My nipples feel like someone is pulling them off even with a jumper AND my coat on. Sad

OP posts:
tigress23 · 08/10/2015 11:33

I do, nehagarg, another good reason for me to avoid my new office (we've just moved too) and it's ridiculously high-powered AC. It's like the Antarctic in there.

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 11:33

*its

(Damn autocorrect)

nehagarg · 08/10/2015 11:37

Oh thank God tigress ... I am sorry you have to bear the pain too. Its really painful but glad I am not alone. My friend looked at me like I am a freak when I asked her if she had had it with her pregnancy Hmm.

By the way, I am a writer and it made me smile that you noticed and cared about the difference between its and it's ... That has become so rare these days with SMS lingo and language shortcuts.

OP posts:
jbiscuits · 08/10/2015 11:40

No painful nipples here, although I am at home with the heating on, rather than an AC office Grin

I did however just have a fit of gagging when I opened the packet of bread for DS's lunch. Bread for goodness sake! Starting to remember why I lost loads of weight in the first trimester last time!

jbiscuits · 08/10/2015 11:43

I should probably point out that I'm tiny as it is, so losing weight is more of a worry.

PrincessPunzie · 08/10/2015 11:45

Me too with the cold nipples - got home from an early spin class this morning, I felt freezing so I jumped straight in the shower - oww!! The hot water was not my friend.

tigress23 · 08/10/2015 11:50

Sounds like you've got pretty bad morning sickness of bread makes you gag, jbiscuits, I hope it gets better later in the day!

I've got a new craving: orange juice. I'm currently demolishing a whole carton of it (it's organic and 100% juice, though, so I don't feel too bad)

nehagarg · 08/10/2015 12:07

Nipples seem to be the do all end all here. I am at home now and sat in the sun so feel a lot better. Hope yours ease up too Princess

Jbiscuits .... That sounds extra sensitive. I dont have cravings or aversions except the occasional wish for spicy but thats probably just because I am Indian. Grin
