Anyone else with a super faint BFP showing a due date for June 2016?

Got a barely there, second line on Sunday but has taken me this long (and 6 more tests Blush ) to accept that I am finally pregnant again after my mmc in April. Sooooooo excited. Anyone else on the preggers boat with me? :)

I also have no idea when to contact the community midwives? Last time I was 14 weeks and I was rushed through the system and only had my dating scan at 15+2!

I was thinking of contacting them in a couple of weeks? Would 6 weeks be about right?

nehagarg · 02/10/2015 21:05

Welcome everyone. Lots of new BFPs. This is getting exciting. Grin

I dont have a booking appointment yet. Only the scan. So still waiting. London hospitals are crowded!

MrsMugoo ... I self refer asap usually and they automatically send dates for the appropriate times depending on due date.

Being overseas I have to chose my widwife, there are lots of different centres that I could use all close by (we live in a big city).

But honestly I'm finding it far too stressful to even think about. I would much rather just be given one and then even if I don't like her just be content with moaning about her throughout the pregnancy knowing there was nothing I could have done about it.

I do know some pregnant people, but it's not exactly subtle if I ask for help is it?!

JellyBaby26 · 02/10/2015 21:30

Is anyone able to start a stats spreadsheet? With age, dc number, location, scan dates etc etc? I'm on my phone and have a Mac which doesn't have Microsofty stuff Hmm

LittleTink76 · 02/10/2015 21:37

I was thinking of leaving it till about 6 weeks then contacting the midwives but I'm a little concerned as I'm an older mummy to be. I did take over 2.5 years to conceive.

LittleTink76 · 02/10/2015 21:39

jellybaby if I get chance to go on my laptop I will try & do a spreadsheet but not sure how I'd import on to the thread though.

MrsSparkles · 02/10/2015 21:53

littletink I don't think there's any harm in contacting them earlier, nice to get everything booked in. I was actually due to have a scan next week to check everything was ok - not needed now I guess

LittleTink76 · 02/10/2015 22:07

No I suppose not MrsSparkles at least they can tell me when to start seeing the midwife.

It's usually about 12 weeks for the first scan isn't it, I know when I was of last time they sent me for my first scan too early & had to repeat it a couple of weeks later.

LittleTink76 · 02/10/2015 22:08

I meant pg last time, silly predictive text!

JellyBaby26 · 02/10/2015 22:57

When the next thread begins you can just put it as first post.

obsessedlex · 03/10/2015 04:50

Ohhhhh awake again. This symptom better do one for the next nine months!

boatyroo · 03/10/2015 05:07

Also woke at 4am! Can't seem to get back to sleep after these early mornings.
Felt very crampy when i woke, but feeling a lot better now.

obsessedlex · 03/10/2015 05:22

I'm the same boatyroo lying here wide awake but knackered if that makes sense.
Lots of cramps that I don't remember from last time but reading up it seems it's fairly common.
It's funny one min I feel comforted by them as they are a sign of all the amazing things going on in there and then the next min I'm terrified willing them to stop fearful that it means something is wrong! Cray cray!! Want to go back to the land of nod zzzzzzzzz

Rifka · 03/10/2015 05:29

Been awake since 03:45 too.. Looking at pregnancy apps & wondering which to get. Would love to go back to sleep but somebody beside me is snoring like a trooper Hmm

nehagarg · 03/10/2015 07:09

Lol. Looks like 4 AM is the magic hour. I've been awake since then too. Have finally given up trying to go back to sleep.

OP posts:
LittleTink76 · 03/10/2015 07:40

I've been like that too, waking up early & struggling to get back to sleep even though I'm shattered. Got to get up now for work anyway.

MadrigalElectromotive · 03/10/2015 07:50

Morning everyone. Feeling your pain on the 4am thing, although last night I managed to get back to sleep quite quickly which was a nice change.

DH has decided that we need a new bathroom so off to trawl the shops this morning. Hope everyone else has something more exciting planned! Grin

Torfhinn · 03/10/2015 07:51

Another creepy nights sleep here too, I'm trying to reschedule my day to allow for a nap! I had some sharp cramps in the night which worried me but they've gone now.

Torfhinn · 03/10/2015 07:54

My night's sleep was crappy not creepy! Bloody predictive text!

MrsSparkles · 03/10/2015 08:05

Ballet and tap with DD this morning. Then some shopping in town (early Christmas presents), and home to watch the rugby tonight.

AmIseeingRight · 03/10/2015 08:06

Morning early birds. So many new bfp - welcome & congratulations.

I've had the mild cramps on and off since implantation, but they seem to have settled down since yesterday to just minor pressure here and there. Went to bed very late so only woke up once at 5am today to pee - I consider that a win. But the insomnia is getting better and when I'm awake it now for a shorter period.

I already got my booking with midwife appointment @8 weeks and dating scan @ 12 weeks letters. When I saw the GP she completed the NHS exemption & gave me "Emma's diary" coz it's my first pregnancy. So already got the ball rolling. I self referred to midwife.

For the spreadsheet- I'm 33, baby #1, due 2 June 16 and appointments 30th oct for midwife and 23 Nov for scan (I'm away 31 oct - 17th Nov). So they booked around my travel.

belkins · 03/10/2015 08:13

I've been up since silly o clock as well. But I also had to get up for work at 4 yesterday, and the same last Monday, so I reckon my body clock is all over the place.

I'm still in limbo re whether I'm actually still pregnant - my cramps have been severe (make you gasp and double over type pain). No blood but I've read progesterone can mask a miscarriage. No idea who I can contact to ask Confused

bikingintherain · 03/10/2015 08:59

I didn't have insomnia last night thankfully, I was so exhausted but I did have some crazy weird nightmare. This morning I couldn't remember what it was but I know I was freaked out in my sleep.

I agreed to babysit friends children this morning as her husband has been away with work a lot recently and she has errands to run, but now I'm sat in the bedroom on mn, whilst husband is watching 4 kids! To be fair I got up with our two this morning and let him have an extra hour in bed. But still, I should probably get off the internet soon.
