Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 28th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 46th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Hand on a sec, Dulcet you are upduffed, chocolate for meals is totally acceptable! I can't even look at chocolate it makes me want to vom. Waaaaa

Speaking of scales etc, how do you know when you are getting a bump? (I know it is way too early for me, I'm just wondering) I'm definitely bigger around the middle but I figure that most of that is bloating. Does it look/feel different when it is bump like or do you have to wait for it to get quite big to notice?

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 09:07

jelly the nhs site will just round it up to the nearest number of weeks so you will indeed be 3+5. Keep that number in your head because you wont know your official due date til you get scanned. But for now stick with the 26th.

I'm 20 weeks today! I'm officially half way! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 09:11

pud bumps are different for everyone, la showed very early as did I. Do expect a LOT of bloat though and don't be worried if you're rocking maternity trousers at 8 weeks. Equally dont be scared if you're still in normal clothes at 20 weeks.

dulcet sorry but chocolate is a meal. It is!

batfish · 21/05/2015 09:33

pud I was definitely fatter from 12 weeks and went into maternity trousers at 14 weeks after a couple of weeks of being really uncomfortable and wrestling with my buttons. Maternity trousers are the best, I'm never going to give them up! I would say proper bump didn't come until maybe 17 weeks ish and even then it only looked like a bump in tight clothes - when naked just looked fat! I am 20+4 now and think I look like I have a bump at all times now. But some people show earlier or later - I've seen pics of a really slim girl on the October bus who showed a pic from 24 weeks during her last pregnancy and she was absolutely tiny, you would never know she was pregnant.

batfish · 21/05/2015 09:35

Very happy to see you here jelly! I know you have been monitoring so do you have any idea when you ovulated? Someone being due in Jan is making me feel extremely pregnant! Shock

jellypi3 · 21/05/2015 09:36

thanks ga i'll keep 3+5 then :)

decided to tell my nan today, she's raised me since birth so is basically my mum, she's in spain but I had to tell her, she was so happy she set me off crying!!

jellypi3 · 21/05/2015 09:38

i think i ovulated around 7th May so the CB test is a lot more accurate in that I am only 1-2 weeks but I just went to see a GP and she said I should call myself 4 weeks (gonna stick to 3+5) :)

jellypi3 · 21/05/2015 09:39

i also got given an emma's diary?

batfish · 21/05/2015 09:46

Yay congrats on reaching halfway ga! I made it on Sunday too, starting to freak out at the speed we seem to be moving at!

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 09:48

jelly sign up to emmas diary and print off the vouchers to go and claim your free goody bags! You get 3 of them I claimed all mine at once. I have naturally used up all the free tena ladies and always liners.

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 09:51

bat I'm so chilled about it, cant wait for October. That doesn't mean I wont start shitting myself in September though! Did you get a 20wk scan or is yours at another weekage? I remember you telling us and ive forgotten.

DulcetMoans · 21/05/2015 10:03

Thanks viroids! Not planning to revisit the argument with him but it is tough as I just don't feel like eating a meal. I just want to pick at bits, but unfortunately those bits have been sweet. I'm normally the same as you tee - crisps over chocolate all the way. And I was the same as you in first trimester pud - thought of eating chocolate turned my stomach. But now I just have started on the Christmas selection boxes instead of eating dinner. Told him I wouldn't eat any more chocolate and he could have the ice creams. I didn't mean that last one...

Anyway, hi jelly! Come on in and ask all your questions. Congrats again, bet your Nan was so happy. Will she be planning a trip back you think?

I think quite a lot of us had bloating in the first few weeks pud which feels like a bump to you but isn't really. Can't remember when I looked and thought 'that's a bump' though.

tee and la, don't be lonely! You have us at least, whether you want us or not. We can do the post-baby meet up we discussed before after the summer. Plus I am sure you will meet some other people at any baby groups you might want to go to.

Jcandy · 21/05/2015 10:03

Welcome jelly! Stick with 3+5 for now and then it will probably be moved at the scan. I'm so happy to see you here!

Oh la and Tee wish we all lived closer together, you are all so lovely and I'd happily be anyone of your friends. I don't have many friends either, same as you Tee when I left my ex I lost a big friendship group and moved to a different city. Got 3 good friends now but one lives 3 hours away and I don't get to see the others that often unfortunately. Anyway enough feeling sorry for ourselves! We are growing our own little humans who will need us much more than any friend ever has unless I guess you've had to clean up a friends vomit and wipe their bum and carry them everywhere.....

RhiannonElward · 21/05/2015 10:21

Morning ladies

La have all the chocolate you fancy, it's not like this is a permanent arrangement and you can only eat what you feel like when heavily upduffed and energy food is clearly what MiniLa is demanding. You look amazing, seriously, so don't feel bad.

Gaggia and Bat 20 weeks! Wow, congratulations! I'm 20 weeks on Monday and I'm so excited about it that this has been the slowest week of my life. I am really looking forward to my scan (a week today) and finding out where my placenta is so seeing if my vba2c is on the cards.

Tee, there's only so much you can do with this friend of yours, but really I can't see how she could call herself your friend if she's being a dick blowing you out because you don't have exactly the same life plans as she does. I have lost a lot of friends since having kids, and I haven't met many mothers who I get along with that well. I don't socialise much outside of family events, but I'm happy with that for now. I am fulfilled and complete, and don't feel lonely, I do get bored though, and would like to have more conversations with adults.

Jelly fingers crossed your bean is a sticky one and all signs are pointing that way so far, so it's looking good for you :)

As for me, I have a stinking horrible cold and getting horrible flushes with it, it feels like I'm going to pass out or something. I got a taxi to do the school run this morning, having visions of flaking out on the floor while in charge of a 5 yo and almost 3 yo, it didn't sound fun. I'm never this bad with a cold and feel like a right lightweight. I barely slept because a blocked nose keeps me awake and I spent most of the night tossing and turning even more than usual. At least dp has 3 days off from tomorrow so I'll have back-up.

Sorry if I've missed anything, I had far too much catching up to do.

RhiannonElward · 21/05/2015 10:23

Oops, confused La and Dulcet with the chocolate thing. D'oh!

DulcetMoans · 21/05/2015 10:34

I still look amazing though, right rhi? Wink hahaha! If DP is off over the weekend I think you need to bank yourself some nap times to make up for the rough sleep.

RhiannonElward · 21/05/2015 10:53

Dulcet of course you look amazing, although a nice bump pic posted in the fb group would be a lovely way of confirming it :)

I might try and wangle a lie in from dp in the morning and have him do the school run, but whether that will materialise is another thing, he's not the best at getting the kids ready for school and DS has school photos tomorrow, I can't have him unkempt. I'll figure something out though.

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 10:54

Rhiannon that's what my cold has been like! Its knocked the life out of me. I'm still suffering.

Purpleball · 21/05/2015 11:12

Morning viroids

jelly welcome aboard, I'm sooooo delighted for you lovely. Hope the spotting stops soon. You've come to the right place. I wouldn't have coped without this lovely lot to talk me down

Tee that's a shame about your friend but I wouldn't give it another thought. She might well be ttc and it not going well, then get back in touch when she succeeds. I have found those that are vehemently anti-kids have an ulterior motive for convincing themselves myself included. Ultimately there's nothing you can do about it and once you start baby groups you'll have a new circle of friends with babies in common. You still have us too Grin

Dulcet you eat what you like! What is DH the fecking food police?

La I'm not surprised you're lonely Thanks
If I have a client round your way I'll meet you for dinner Smile

I really wish you all lived nearer. I have friends all over the country from forums I've been on over the years. It means I have people to meet up with sometimes when I'm travelling around but is useless when I just want a coffee or to fill a house for a party!

Ga I think you're my nearest and we'll have similar aged babies so babypurple and I might have to brave the frozen north Smile

Looking, hope things have calmed down for you Thanks

Epic post and I've probably missed people as usual.

jellypi3 · 21/05/2015 11:14

Thanks for the warm welcome Folks :) dulcet my nan will be home in July but she wants to come sooner. I told her not to lol. She's so excited.

Purpleball · 21/05/2015 11:14

Rhi I hope, you're feeling better soon. Probably best to supervise for school photos - unless you're not bothered about one Smile

JC hope the resting is doing you some good

RhiannonElward · 21/05/2015 11:15

Aww Gaggia sorry to hear you're still feeling awful, are you taking anything for it? I've had paracetamol but are we ruled out of everything else? It's irritating that when our immune systems are reduced, we are also ruled out of most useful medicines.

RhiannonElward · 21/05/2015 11:18

Sorry Purple, we cross posted, I think I will supervise for the school photos, then perhaps sleep when I get back from the school while DP looks after DD, she's a handful and on top form this morning, having sensed weakness in her mother no doubt.

minimooo · 21/05/2015 11:19

Just popping in to say congrats to jelly! Smile

waves to everyone else. Will be back later to catch up.

batfish · 21/05/2015 11:25

ga I had a scan at 17+6 and next one will be in 9 days so at 21+6 spoilt bitch

Exciting that your scan is soon rhiannon!! Can't believe we are here, part of me feels like I've pregnant for my whole life and the other part of me feels like it about a week since I was 4 weeks preggo and shoving my hands down my knickers every 15 mins checking for bleeding!
