I remember at antenatal classes when I was having DS, women with massive bottles of Gaviscon just drinking straight from them. I was pretty symptomless so was a big about it all haha.

Seriously though, you should be able to get it on prescription from the midwife (unless they've changed the rules since my last pregnancy)

Roughtyping I'm 6+2, a while to go yet! But yes hoping the boobies calm down a bit! (even though I get scared when they aren't as sore and start poking them...)

Happy Birthday Annbag - no birthdays when pregnant aren't fun, my 30th was when i was around 7weeks -big birthday with no alcohol, really tired but at least the sickness hadn't hit me! Celebrate well with new little bub :-)

Had my booking in appointment today, which was excellent, she was really thorough and very engaged. I'll have various consultant appointments and s on now before anything else happens, but mainly I just want to get to that all-consuming test results day.

cryingbabymess you can get gaviscon on prescription for free! I was one of those chugging it from the bottle last time. Boots own version is yucky but the proper one costs about a tenner a bottle I think and I was going through a bottle a week by the end... Saved me a lot of pennies!

Roughtyping how did you come across that mcdonalds thread? Haha!!! Glad I had a Mcdonalds for lunch before reading it, as it would make you hungry for one! I'm just having grilled cheese and tomato on toast for dinner since I ate so much at lunch.....

I craved sausage bagels at the end of my last pg and I had mc breakfast as my last meal before giving birth (and she didn't arrive till 11pm) as we'd been at the hospital for monitoring all night the night before. Certainly gave me the energy for it!

Mamama yes! Boob ache is at its worst in the morning and at night when changing position! But also in the evening taking the bra off I can feel the gravity pulling them down
I'm still ill, laying in bed, my MIL looked after me and my DD today. (Lucky) It's sinusitis and I'm on antibiotics so hopefully I'll feel better soon.

Jucy I know what you mean! Braless is painful! I've also had some sinus issues since becoming pregnant, started off in the very early days as an insane itch but now just seem to have one blocked sinus every night. Annoying!

Have my nuchal scan appointment through, hurrah. 22nd April which is a mere couple of weeks away. So much waiting!

I'm 10 weeks today, still lots of nausea and oh my I hear you on the boob pain. DP has tried to touch them on a couple of occasions and it took all my self control not to punch him in the face

So put my sports bra on after my shower....I got stuck! ?? can you tell I don't wear sports bras? Lol. Fingers crossed it works! I'll let you ladies know in the morning.

I wish I didn't look at the McDonald's thread now! Double cheeseburger mm. Am also craving a wagamamas so might have to go there on the weekend. I made the mistake of looking at myself sideways in the mirror today...the bloating has made me look like Winnie the Pooh ! I hope I deflate soon.

My boobs are really sore and the worst part is that I've noticed that I am carrying dd differently, to the side rather than against my front, to avoid my tender boobs, so now I have a really sore back too.

I sleep in vest tops with a support panel which are really comfy for me. The best ones I've found are from debenhams.

Amen sisters to the boob pain! I always sleep in a bra anyway just those soft ones but it's pretty uncomfortable I can tell ya!

Had my pre booking in today and I will get a scan next week sometime yey! I could be 9 weeks or 7 ish? Be nice to get a edd.
