Missmila yes and they keep asking how my other half is but I haven't got the bottle to say as soon as he found out he dragged me for an abortion and when I refused he fucked off to Australia - they don't ask how I am though!

My mum and that obv know about him but they're smothering me abit they're really worried about my mental health but I need them to give me a days break from it!

Can I join you in the island I won't annoy you about pregnancy but I don't think I'll do well in an island on my own!

THEworrywart · 25/03/2015 18:43

On Angry why does my phone change on to in

Snowflake15 · 25/03/2015 19:21

I wanna come to the island - keeping the secret at work is so annoying when we have so many events! Was cornered about why I wasn't drinking last Thursday (by a mate admittedly but still..) and now I'm super conscious that I'll be under scrutiny tomorrow night! I really thought my pretending to drink was very believable! And manager who asked if I was pregnant last week will be there and is bound to be watching, she loves a good bit of gossipBlush

Snowflake15 · 25/03/2015 19:21

shin glad to hear your scan went well and all is ok!

letshopetheyallgeton · 25/03/2015 19:21

Gooroo - we've got a Rachel. Unfortunately 3 GP's have died since the last DC was born, so will be a bit of a battle whom to name the latest arrival after. No idea if it will be is a DS or DD. DD would even it out.

Toffeegirl39 · 25/03/2015 19:29

We are struggling with names too - can't agree! Quite like Carys for a girl - it means love ?? And boys names we are struggling. DP loves Harry but so ubiquitous now? Although I love it too. Going with Alfie or Danny at the moment I think.
On another note, I haven't weighed myself yet... Maybe later.
Anyone know if we should be taking calcium/vit D still? Ideally hate those big tablets and have a healthy diet. Do I need them I wonder??

ambientolf · 25/03/2015 19:38

We've chose Harper for a girl & Campbell for a boy. Campbell because it's DP's grandads clan name (Scottish) & Harper because I like to think I'm going to look like posh spice after the birth. Wishful thinking but no, we just think it's a nice, sophisticated name!

ambientolf · 25/03/2015 19:40

toffee I take the healthy start vitimins from the docs with folic acid & vit D. They are only small & 91p per tub so I figure it can't do any harm & I'm not wasting money on expensive vitamins x

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 25/03/2015 19:43

Ooh love a name thread! Smile
We have no idea yet, we could only agree on one boy's name last time and used it for ds, and the girl's name we chose was used by very close friends whose dd was born the very next day-same first and middle names!! Think how gutted they'd have been if ds had been a girl and we'd got in there first! Wink
So can't really use our girl's name and we have no boys' names!

Heehee ambient the posh spice thing made me chuckle :) I think Harper is a lovely name too!

Re vitamins - am I right in thinking I take vitamin D throughout? I'm still taking folic at 13+4, when do I stop taking those? X

I've just sent a friend request goo roo. I'm the one on the beach with my daughter Smile

Snowflake15 · 25/03/2015 20:22

What do you lot think of the name Remy for a boy? It's the only one that DP suggested that's not horrible, but I'm not sure! I like Reuben but DP hatesSad

Jen0226 · 25/03/2015 20:30

We're not even thinking about names till we know what flavour we're having. Cuts down half the work!

16 week MW appointment today - all went well. Heard the heartbeat which was lovely.

TheMidnightHour · 25/03/2015 20:30

elio stupidly hadn't thought of how 'our' names would sound in French. You'd think I would have as I am dual language. Obvs been in England too long. Are you looking for one that's pronounced the same? One of my friends has a Camille who is ca-mill/ca-mee depending on the language, which I think is lovely. I was supposed to be Heather until mum realised French makes it 'Etta' like a certain Spanish terrorist organization active at the time.

misssmilla Think it's probably justified amped by hormones. My Outlaws are trying to emotionally blackmail us into getting married. Gems include: 'why are you refusing to be part of our family?' 'how can we be happy for you when we're so worried?' 'it's like letting a child play in traffic' 'it's the worst thing you can do to a child'. They've got his sister on board 'why are you still rebelling, you're not a teenager''don't do anything to worry mum, you know she's really ill' Argh!

DeladionInch · 25/03/2015 20:30

Remiel is an archangel, I have one of the others Wink

We've chosen names but you'll have to wait like everybody else!

sauvblanc21 · 25/03/2015 20:33

Snow this means nothing to me but I just read your post to my hubbo and he said "He's been watching House of Cards"!?! Apparently there's a very attractive Remy in the show :) I quite like it - entirely dependent on surname though - I only say that as our surname almost rhymes with Remy so a definite no for us! X

Snowflake15 · 25/03/2015 20:34

Ooh I love that connection Deladion! I also speak French so like the connection there

TheMidnightHour · 25/03/2015 20:34

Should add - I'm not anti marriage, it's just not for us right now (probably ever) and I feel that's a decision only the people involved should be making, not relatives!

Snowflake15 · 25/03/2015 20:35

Haha ooh no I haven't seen it Sauv but I might do now - a handsome role model may win me overWink

Snowflake15 · 25/03/2015 20:37

midnight I agree about marriage - We've been engaged for over a year and everyone keeps pestering us about setting a date but I don't feel theres any rush and there's a lot of other things we'd rather spend our money on. Stick to your guns and just ignore them!

DeladionInch · 25/03/2015 20:42

You couldn't have Remy with the surname Martin I used to know an Aston that was bad enough

Similarly Lemuel works in both and is different enough from the more popular Samuel without being totally weird

Toffeegirl39 · 25/03/2015 21:24

Meant to say had midwife appointment today, heard baby's heart ??
As I have so many consultant appointments with my extra growth scans, mw said I can miss some of the appointments with her.
Do you buy those multi vitamins for 91p from the doc or pharmacist ?
