helo I also suffer but I've always been told (like virtually every drug) no hayfever medication/sprays are approved for use in pg, so have gone without. If its really severe I think there are some drugs that are regarded as preferable to take the risk on iyswim.

That's great news stace ...are you still bleeding? I am but pain has gone and we have the same EDD was just curious as I'll be waiting for my booking in (two weeks today) or my 12 week before I know things are ok

Hi Ash, no the bleeding has stopped thankfully. I feel so much better having been for the early scan. :)

ashboo if you have bleeding and are worried, do ring your midwife or GP as they will refer you to the EPU and you won't have to wait until 12 weeks. It really is reassuring.

Thanks you ladies I have made the call and they were lovely booked me in for early scan on Monday at least I'll know and no more waiting.... Only did it coz you all said. I was hesitating as I didn't want to cause a fuss as it's so early on, don't even feel pregnant yet felt a bit of a fraud but they insisted I was not wasting their time and it was what they were there for ...already feel relieved in a way xx

there's a chance I might get a sneaky look at baby middle of next month as I have an appointment at the hospital for an ovarian cyst that was found when pregnant with dc1, still there when pregnant with dc2 (I then forgot about it until a few months ago when it started causing me some discomfort) this appointment was supposed to be the first step towards getting it removed (surgically) but doubt they will do that while I'm pregnant. when they first found it I had just found out I was pregnant with dc1 and they scanned me, I was only 6 weeks and we saw teeny little dd and her little heartbeat. so hopefull they might scan me again to check cyst growth and I'll get a sneaky look at baby. otherwise I'll be waiting til 12 weeks

See! I felt I was making a fuss too, but it IS what they're there for. I'm sure it will all be fine, it's just a nice reassurance.

fab news stace hope all goes well on monday ash im doing awful on the healthy eating front i dont seem to be able to stomach much but when i do its complete and utter rubbish going to go the local fruit shop tomorrow and see if a bowl full of lovely colourful fruit will tempt me.

Just a word of reassurance for those who are bleeding and or feel cramps, when I miscarried last month the cramps were very very painful and were a lot like labour pains and felt in my back, the bleeding started off lightly but increased quite quickly to a lot of blood.
So mild pain ( which I get on and off and stretchy pain is fine) and spotting is most likely fine but still get checked out!
God I feel pooped now! Been at work today.
It's my birthday tomorrow and we are off to KFC not been for years so I'm looking forward to it! We have been fancying one after watching the programme

I've just got my letter through and pics are £3 each ( must bring pound coins apparently!). Got an early scan tomorrow (7 weeks) as I just couldn't wait till my scan at 13+4 ! Finally feels like it's happening now :-)

I've never had to pay for pics before. hope I don't have to this time either! we took dd to our scans with ds, she was under 1 so wouldn't have known what was going on. I've not heard kids can't come before, was really hoping dd could come as she's so excited about baby in mummy's tummy. ds won't be bothered and would probably wreck the place so hoping I might be able to get someone to watch him while we have the scan as I don't think I'll be able to concentrate and enjoy it if he's there making chaos

So if you've to pay for the photos do they tell you in the letter you get for your scan? I can't believe you've got to pay!!!

Yes it says they are £3, just under the bit where it says to come with a full bladder - so quite important, it seems!

Yep, it mentions £5 in my letter.

I saw our bbs heart beat on Tuesday at seven weeks three days we got photos and even got a video of his heart beat and heard it too. Size and heartbeat looks good. That was last appt with fertility clinic and have first nhs midwife appt next Thursday. Im very tired but also have had sole charge of a baby this week so not getting the best of sleep although am able to take naps. I need to go bra shopping this weekend since it seems I've quadrupled in size.
