Hi ladies. Hope you are all surviving your MS! I am grateful for every day that I don't have it but no doubt it's enroute!!

Takestwo thinking of you, sending prayers your way x

BowiesJumper · 24/03/2015 11:24

thatduck I'm taking the boots pregnancy support plus vits. They all have pretty similar ingredients and they were a bit cheaper than the pregnacare ones.

Takestwo thinking of you Flowers

re vitamins: I got the healthy start folid acid, C&D combo, they are extremely cheap.

We will not find out the sex, trying to keep the gender stereotyping down to a minimum.

TakesTwoToTango · 24/03/2015 12:28

Thanks for the messages ladies! Was a very long night! Despite the A&E do being convinced I was probably miscarrying, when I eventually saw the obstetrician they were more cautiously positive. My cervix is closed and bean has a hb. But I am bleeding so it could go either way. Just have to wait!

BowiesJumper · 24/03/2015 12:32

Oh God how scary! Is it heavy bleeding with pain? I've got everything crossed for you!

CishAndFips · 24/03/2015 12:33

were finding out, found out with ds too. still struggling with ms but finding fizzy drinks and plain biscuits help. absoloutley shattered too

CoffeeTwo · 24/03/2015 12:33

Wonderful news about the heartbeat, keeping everything crossed for you.

CishAndFips · 24/03/2015 12:36

Flowers takestwo look after yourself. thinking of u

BowiesJumper · 24/03/2015 12:39

I don't think we'll find out the sex. My husband would like to, but I don't think I would... and he's not overly bothered I don't think. I like the idea of the old fashioned surprise at birth!

Frescoed · 24/03/2015 12:42

Fingers crossed for you Takes Two.

Nausea kicking in a bit more with me, and craps eating too - pizza twice last week, mrscat you are not alone. Trying to remember that celery is my friend....

Aching back too, though I think that might have more to do with terrible deadlift technique in the gym yesterday Grin

annatha · 24/03/2015 12:47

I forgot about the bloody vitamins Blush to be honest I keep forgetting I'm pregnant again. Last time I found out at around 3 weeks so by now (8 weeks) I'd had morning sickness, sore boobs and was meticulously cutting caffeine from my diet. This time the only symptom I've had is feeling exhausted, but I don't know how much of that is pg related or down to dd.

Any recommendations for vitamins? I had pregnacare last time but they're like horse tablets, I really struggled getting them down.

cryingbabymess · 24/03/2015 12:59

Fingers crossed takestwo!! EnvyThanks

I'm taking pregnacare just now and I'm struggling swallowing them! After this months supply I think I'll get different ones!

OMG I've had far too much to eat today! Think it's because I'm feeling not too sick today! Confused Making the most of it! Think I need to buy carrots and eat them all day! On my second bag of crisps in an hour! Shock

Crumbelina · 24/03/2015 13:12

Oh fingers crossed TakesTwo, we'll all be thinking of you. Flowers

Karmanna13 · 24/03/2015 13:16

Fingers and toes crossed for you TakesTwo!!

I've been very good today and had a salad for lunch, and will have soup for dinner, but I'm craving ice cream so might have that as a treat. Trying to eat healthily now as I know it will go out the window once ms strikes.

Takestwo so glad to hear a hb was detected, I really hope the bleeding stops. Rest up!

I will definitely want to find out what we are having, I am such a control freak I just have to know so I can get organised and prepare! Lol I have to say I'd so love to have a girl, but only because I already have a boy and all my nephews are boys our family is seriously lacking in girls! I'd love to bring some pink in to the mix!!! But no way would I be disappointed with a boy, boys are amazing and I have had the best experience with my boy (now 14yo!!!) he's an absolute gem and another boy would be just lovely!!! :) and I am absolutely 99.9% expecting to have a boy as it seems we only produce boys in our family! Lol I'd be quite shocked if it was a girl....in a very good way...but wouldn't be able to believe it until I had the evidence ie baby girl in my arms!

I am taking pregnacare, they are huge tablets but I'm finding them ok to take. Will likely be a prob when MS kicks in! But for now they are going down fine and I feel very healthy and quite energetic at the moment so if it's them causing me to feel good, I'm sticking with them :)

cryingbabymess · 24/03/2015 13:49

Ahhhh!!!! Moan alert!!!! I'm already doing a full time job and a part time job and covering for someone on long term sick. Along with doing a long distance college course and now someone has put me forward for another qualification (ILM) and along with that I'm supposed to be starting my SVQ3 soon through work! How the frick am I supposed to do all this and be pregnant! Ahhhhh!!!

halestone · 24/03/2015 13:49

Taketwo yay for a heartbeat Grin i hope you get plenty of rest to make up for a late night.

I am from a family full of mostly girls. I have 2 sisters, 1 niece, 1 DSD and a DD so would love a boy. I think Dp would love a boy as well. I would be happy with a girl and have a girls name sorted out though.

We are waiting till we give birth to find out the sex. We did the same with Dd, the only thing in my birthplan was for Dp to be the one who told me the sex. My birthplan if all goes well will say the same this time.

Annbag it was lovely there were peaditricians in the room as my Dd had poo'd inside me but as she seemed ok they left Dp to tell me. He said 'its a girl' And i remember thinking to myself well hes got that wrong as i can see the scrotum, turns out she had saggy bumcheeks Grin We were both in shock though as we were convinced we were having a boy. (We were still arguing about boys names whilst i was in labour though).

Hello everyone,

Newbies won't know me as I joined this thread early on and had to leave because I was actually off sick from work with off the charts exhaustion. Well, turns out my serum iron reserves whatever that is had dropped massively. I was off work all last week and this week. Getting back to standing up for more than a second now. Hope to be more in touch.

Glad to see so many more join this bus! Can't wait to be 8 weeks done this Friday so that embryo can call itself a foetus and throw a little party inside me (nothing that makes mummy sick)!

mrstothemr · 24/03/2015 14:47

That's great news takestwo, hope you can take some time to yourself and rest now
